Quiet slice of serenity

A beautiful home tucked away in the mountains surrounded by wildlife. We loved waking up with coffee on the porch and winding down at night in the hot tub. Highly recommend!

Mountain retreat

We had a wonderful stay on top of the mountain. Wonderful views, very peaceful! The house was the perfect size, very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing but good things to say. Very clean, organized, well maintained, fantastic hot tub and a bottle of wine. If you're cooking, bring everything, only salt & pepper. Would definitely stay again!!!

We had a great time. The house was lovely and the kitchen was very well stocked for all your cooking needs. Very secluded and private. The hosts were very nice and friendly. Very detailed in their responses and information about the house. Will stay again.

Peaceful & Serene Anniversary!!

Everything was perfect about our stay. The location is secluded enough to feel like the mountain was ours, but not far from attractions, winery, restaurants, fuel, etc. The cottage itself was clean and offered quiet places to relax and sip some wine. Great time!!!

Quiet and Peaceful

Perfect getaway for this hiking family. My college age kids just finished for the year so we took a mini hiking vacation before summer jobs start. Don and Rachel's communication was top notch. A storm took out the power and within 4 minutes we received a message from them with an ETA of restored power plus some back lighting and water. The unit itself was wonderful, comfortable and clean.

Great Winter Weekend Getaway

Property is a beautiful cottage in the woods. Very clean with a delightful decor. The wood stove is great. We enjoyed watching the sunset through the trees from the hot tub. We had a great winter weekend stay at this property.

Beautiful, quiet spot on the mountain

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at this cottage! The house was clean, exactly as pictured, warm and inviting. It's in a quiet area and it was nice to relax. Lots of things to do near by as well, we went to the caverns, winery and a couple local spots to eat. We always felt safe and secure in the house, all the amenities were great! Thank you!

Wonderful stay at the cottage. It's just as others describe and the hosts are very easy to work with. We appreciated all the small touches and had a great time hiking and enjoying a couple of the local wineries.

Weekend Getaway

Our stay at Beavers Hill Cottage was lovely. The hosts are very detailed and their description of the property is spot-on, so be sure to read the details about the roads and driveway so you aren’t surprised. They were proactive in reaching out to us and monitoring the weather. There was a light dusting of snow during our stay, and we were able to bring our own wood and take full advantage of the wood stove and hot tub on a cold day. The cabin is cozy and feels very private even with a few neighbors scattered about. It was a great weekend get away, and we would definitely rent here again! I would also recommend checking out sky Meadows State Park nearby! The location is perfect for exploring the area.

Our second stay at Beaver Hill - such a wonderful place

The cottage is so quiet and secluded. It’s the perfect location. Just a bit over an hour from DC, has WiFi and cell service. Perfect location to recharge.

Highly recommended!

This is one of the best cottages we have stayed. Great location and the amenities are fantastic. Hot tub was ideal after a tired day at Shenandoah Park. Loved the wineries around. Highly recommended!

So Close, Yet a World Away

We loved Beaver Cabin. It was very comfortable. It was so close to so many things yet so isolated at the same time. I can't wait to see it in other seasons. As a cook, I appreciated all the kitchen items you wanted on hand. Well appointed!

Awesome cottage!

Exactly as listed, private, lovely setting. It was great we could bring our 2 dogs along. Our Beagle enjoyed the exploring the new smells. Had a visit from a deer family. Well appointed kitchen, we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend or rent again in the future.
