Escape to one of Front Royal`s hidden gems, `The Honeymoon Cabin` offers couples & more the opportunity to retreat and sit among the stars overlooking the community`s `Lake of Clouds`. Whether a romantic getaway, solo adventure, or gathering of friends, you`ll find relaxation among the stars over distance towns or the outline of mountains across the Shenandoah Valley.
*Romantic decor including fresh flowers, balloons, bubbly, chocolate, and mood lighting is available on request for $320.
`The Honeymoon Cabin` draws its name from countless travelers that have enjoyed special occasions and intimate events among the retreat`s stunning valley views, cozy settings, and fully equipped kitchen. As you approach the cabin, you`ll immediately be drawn to the expansive deck wrapping around the front and side to provide views in nearly every direction. Full-year and seasonal lighting line the runway deck approaching the main door which leads into the cabin`s open living, dining area, and kitchen. If crafting that perfect meal for your loved one is in the cards, you`ll find full-sized appliances and all the accessories, cookware, and bakeware to make it a reality.
The property has two bedrooms and desk options to take care of the pesky emails that might draw your attention. Reliable high speed internet can keep you connected for video calls or streaming movies. A full-sized bathroom with washer and dryer round out the cabin`s interior spaces.
Perhaps what will draw your attention the most is enjoyed behind two large sliding glass doors that overlook the valley. Step through and you`ll find comfortable seating and the cabin`s hot tub ready for you to relax and recharge among the starts. Note that the hot tub is best enjoyed by 2-3 people, so while we welcome groups of up to 4, the design of our deck best accommodates a smaller hot tub to provide space for seating and maximize the best views.
Before, during, and after your stay, we`re known for happily offering and suggesting local favorites for wineries, restaurants, hiking and more. Our goal is to remove the stresses of the cookie cutter experience, so expect plenty of the small things that help make your experience memorable.
Guests have access throughout the property with the exception of locked storage spaces.
We are always accessible via messages, phone, or text, so please don`t hesitate to reach out!
The property is nestled in the small mountain community of Shenandoah Farms in Virginia`s Blue Mountains. The area is a mix of full-time residents, second homes, and short term rentals.
While we encourage you to take a stroll using the mountain roads, a vehicle will be required to reach nearby attractions. The property can only accommodate one vehicle.
đ PROPERTY GUIDE â After booking, you`ll receive a detailed property guide highlighting the area`s best wineries, hikes, restaurants, and attractions, as well as important information to help you prepare for your stay.
đ¶ PETS â We love hosting your furry companions and welcome up to two dogs. Please include them in your reservation and a pet fee will automatically be included in your reservation total. Additional dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to additional fees to compensate for potential extra wear and tear at the property and additional cleaning regimens that we undertake. Note that emotional support animals (ESAs) are designated as pets and subject to these fees and other pet policies. Service animals are always welcome, but please let us know about them in advance so we can let our cleaning team know.
đŒ FAMILY FRIENDLY AMENITIES â We provide a pack nâ play, highchair, and children`s tableware to accommodate families traveling with young children.
đ VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS AND ROAD CONDITIONS â The property is easily accessible year-round via paved and gravel (last quarter mile) roads, with most vehicles able to reach the home without issue; during winter weather or icy conditions, AWD or 4WD may be recommended or required. The parking area can accommodate up just one vehicle, and trailers and/or motorcycles are not able to easily access the property.
đ§ŻGUEST SAFETY & WELLNESS â The home features smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, and a professional cleaning team that thoroughly cleans and sanitizes all bedding and high-touch surfaces between reservations.
đŠ WILDLIFE â The property is surrounded by wildlifeâdeer, rabbits, foxes, box turtles, groundhogs and the occasional black bear are part of the natural charm. Insects and critters may make appearances from time to time; simply let us know if anything is out of the ordinary.
đĄ UPDATES & EXTERIOR PROPERTY MAINTENANCE We occasionally make updates to the property in an effort to add new amenities and ensure that we always offer safe and comfortable accommodations. As a result, furniture may occasionally differ from what is featured. During your stay, our landscaping and/or hot tub care team may service the property - we usually give you advance notice and these teams do not need to access the inside of the property.
âïž HOT TUB & AMENITY USAGE Hot tub and other amenity usage is at your own risk. Our property cleaning and maintenance team takes great care to ensure these are available year round and are cleaned, tested, and maintained regularly by us personally or trained staff.
đčSPECIAL OCCASION & PREMIUM SERVICES â We offer several special occasion decorating options and other services to make your romantic getaway worry free and one of a kind. Our most popular option is our premium package that includes bubbly, fresh flowers, balloons, and decor for $320. These typically require at least five days advance notice, but we may be able to accommodate last minute requests on a case by case basis.
Noise & Music â County and community regulations prohibit outdoor music after 9 PM, regardless of volume. Please be respectful of neighbors at all times and keep outdoor noise and activity to a reasonable level.
Extra Guests â Only registered guests are permitted on the property unless approved in advance. Unauthorized visitors or events are not allowed.
Smoking â Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Evidence of smoking (including odor) will result in a $500 cleaning fee.
Fires & Prohibited Activities â Wood-burning fires are not permitted indoors or outdoors. Fireworks, ATVs, firearms, and hunting are not allowed on the property.
Smart Home Technology â The cabin is equipped with WiFi, Ring exterior security cameras, and a Minut noise monitor for comfort and security. These devices do not record audio and may not be unplugged, covered, or tampered with. Interference with safety devices may result in cancellation of your stay.
Parking & Vehicles â Parking is limited to the designated driveway only. Please do not park on grass or block the road. Trailers or oversized vehicles require prior approval.
