à propos de cet hébergement
Perfectly Appointed, Close to Downtown w/ Summer Backyard Oasis & Hi Speed Wifi
This 3BR/2BA ranch style home sits in the quiet, treelined neighborhood of Sierra Meadows, just 1.1 miles to downtown Truckee. Enjoy the privacy of a large landscaped & fully fenced front and backyard or gather by the custom fire pit and tell stories under the stars.
Rustic-eclectic décor, high end linens, bedding, warm hardwood floors, and an open living concept to gather with friends and family. This is a delightful retreat for your alpine getaway.
The kitchen features granite countertops, a 6 burner Thermador stove and is outfitted with every kitchen gadget desired including an Instapot, Crockpot, Rice Maker, Cusinart, VitaMix, Fondue Pot and Espresso Maker.
This rustic, ranch style, single family home sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms.
The master bedroom has a queen bed, french doors to a private courtyard (seasonal), and an efficient en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower featuring two rain style shower heads, perfect for relaxation and warming after a day on the slopes.
The second bedroom also has a queen bed and the third bedroom features a double bed, both with french doors offering serene views and access to the backyard. A bathroom with a tub/shower combination sits across the hall.
Head to the front covered porch with seating to enjoy coffee or the bi-level back deck/patio to sip a glass of wine at the fire pit or share a homemade meal at the custom farm table under a covered deck with bistro lights. There is also a large gas BBQ, ping pong table and steel tip dartboard. (Fire pit, Backyard Outdoor Furniture, Ping Pong Table and BBQ are not available in the winter months).
Guest amenities include complimentary hi speed Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and parking for a maximum of 3 cars (no garage access). We also offer a variety of games and books. This rental does not have air-conditioning. All French Door sets have a screen system and there is a mobile fan in each bedroom.
THE LOCATION
This rental sits in a quiet neighborhood across from the Truckee Regional Park (under 1 mile) which offers a skate park, playground, large grassy area, volleyball courts, basketball courts, a disc golf course (seasonal) and music in the park (Wednesdays in the Summer). The Park also offers easy access to the beautiful Truckee River Legacy Trail, an all-season paved track (snow cleared in the winter) that winds along the Truckee River with a bridge over Martis Creek and is a popular trail for bikers, runners, dog walkers and families.
A few favorites include the Cottonwood Restaurant and Bar which offers eclectic cuisine in a classic ski lodge setting w/ outdoor seating overlooking downtown Truckee and bocce courts in the summer (walkable from the house through the woods if you are adventurous).
Youâre also an easy walk or bike ride from downtown Truckee (1.1 miles). To start your day head to Drink Coffee Do Stuff and for a great meal out, try Moodyâs Bistro & Beats, with music every Friday and Saturday, The Truckee Tavern (their cocktails are amazing!), grab some Taco's at Como (Tuesday is Taco Night!) or enjoy two great pizza options at Best Pies or Old Town Tap. The Rock, also 1.1 miles away, offers additional dining such as Fifty Fifty Brewing Company, Thai Delicacy, or Drunken Monkey a Sushi & Japanese eatery. And the Raley's O-N-E Market, Truckeeâs newest grocery store, is just 1.3 miles away. You will find many specialty items here, a coffee shop, cafĂ© with scrumptious sandwiches (great to order ahead for a grab and go) and a fabulous salad and hot food bar which you can eat in the upstairs lounge & bar!
For winter play, Squaw and Alpine is a quick 20 minutes away and Northstar is just under 7 miles. But not to be missed is the family owned Sugar Bowl Ski Resort, atop the summit only 14 minutes up highway 80. For XC style, check out Tahoe Donner, Northstar or Royal Gorge (also atop the summit).
For summer play, where to begin? There are miles and miles of trails behind Sierra Meadows and around Truckee/Tahoe. Truckee Bike (under a mile away) is a great spot to rent townies, mountain bikes and electric bikes. Go see Rachel and Dennis...they would be thrilled to set you up!
There is simply too much to list about this fabulous area and local services! But rest assured we will provide a recommendation for every need and desire to craft your perfect vacation.
