Cabane en cèdre

Belle cabane en rondins nichée dans les bois entre Silver Lake et Pentwater. Super site de vacances en famille. Nous avons notarié l'accès à 750 pieds de plage d'association privée. Bien qu'il ne soit pas directement sur le front de mer, c'est une très courte promenade jusqu'à la plage. Nous gardons 4 chaises adirondack en plastique sur la plage tout l'été pour plus de commodité. Vous pouvez marcher pendant des kilomètres au nord ou au sud.
Vous constaterez que notre cabine est équipée de tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour des vacances en famille: un foyer extérieur, un barbecue à gaz, des jeux, des jouets de plage, une connexion Wi-Fi, une grande télévision à écran plat et un lecteur DVD. Nous avons une véranda confortable avec moustiquaire ainsi que 2 ponts et une véranda couverte avec chaises à bascule.
Nous aimons passer du temps dans notre chalet - et nous savons que vous aussi!

Great vacation with family

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Cedarwood Cabin. It was great to be so close to the beach, Silver Lake and Pentwater. The cabin was beautiful and the area was nice and quiet. Great place to relax!

Dog friendly house near the beach

Very nice house and location. The private beach was great for our dog. The owner was very helpful and provided suggestions for things to do in the area.

Slice of Heaven

We stayed for a week. Myself, my mother and four teens. It was amazing. Great firepit! The cabin was clean and cozy. There were enough places though where if everyone needed space we could be alone. The beach is fantastic. There’s a lot of steps down. There is a newer staircase down Lakeshore drive. Turn left and walk past the end of the road. It’ll be on the left it has more landings and is easier for the older crowd to manage.

This beautiful property is one block from Lake Michigan in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed walking & listening to the waves. It was very relaxing, spending time with family. We enjoyed our time there.

Lake Michigan Family Vacation

Log cabin with modern amenities located very close to the beach. Lots of room for family and dog to be with each other both inside and outside. Kitchen well stocked to cook large meals.

Awesome location

Cabin was beautiful and better than the pictures. It has both the feeling of a forest cabin and a beach house. The water is well water and definitely would not drink the tap water.

Great Getaway

If you’re looking for a great getaway only a short walk from Lake Michigan, this place is it. We like to vacation with our dog, so choices are limited when looking to rent. This place was great for us and the dog. Nice cozy cabin in the woods just minutes away from Silver Lake and Pentwater. The only thing missing was the bald-headed bear (Great Outdoors reference). Look forward to returning in the years to come.

Beach Vacation

The property was just as described. Very nice. Most everything that would be needed was provided. The host was very nice and easy to reach. There were 80-some steps down to the beach, which made it a little hard to carry stuff down, however, once at the beach, well worth the effort. The neighborhood was quiet and nice to walk and the cottage it self was in good proximately to area attractions Really nice place, would rent again.

Beautiful Lake Michigan

The home is just as described except the furniture is very outdated (uncomfortable). We had a great time, the beach was as described....beautiful. Could not ask for better weather. If furniture is not the concern of your stay this is the place for you. The home is well stocked with spices, condiments, paper and plastic products.

A Wonderful Oasis in Mears, Michigan

Our family spent 2 weeks in this beautiful log home that is a short walk to the beach. The home was immaculately clean and comfortable. We packed for nothing. As someone who likes to cook, I appreciated the well stocked kitchen. The beds and linens were top quality. We enjoyed the outdoor space and porch area. We would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone wanting easy access to the beautiful beach along Lake Michigan. The host was responsive and thought of everything to make our visit special and relaxing.

Perfect location & better than photos look!

We had a great stay at the cedar wood cabin. We had 4 adults and 4 kids who all slept in the bunk bed room. It was plenty of space. The outdoor space is awesome for cooking out and bonfires. Having Lake Michigan a very short walk alway was awesome, but like most said the water is high right now. We didn't mind at all. The cabin is clean and very well equipped, we appreciated every little detail. Loved being about 10 minutes from Pentwater and less than that to Silver Lake dunes. So glad we found this place! Thank you!

Fantastic visit!

The cabin is delightful - clean, spacious, well-appointed, inviting and quiet. The location is wonderful - and the walk to the stairs to the beach is less than 1 minute. The fall colors were stunning and we enjoyed time around the outdoor campfire both nights. The house has lots of games and the kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pans and a dishwasher! We had a wonderful visit and will come back again!

Just Terrific

I invited a few girlfriends to enjoy the cabin with me for the weekend. We were looking for something with 3 bedrooms, fire pit and close to a Lake Michigan beach so we could take long walks. The layout of the home is outstanding. It is cozy and comfortable. It was too chilly to enjoy the screened in porch but that is a huge bonus in warmer weather. The home is adjacent to a main road so that was a bit noisy. But something small that like wasn't going to ruin our fabulous time!

Came as advertised

The cabin was clean and came as advertised. The beach is beautiful and was a short walk (although it's about 81 steps down to it). Our family really enjoyed the firepit as well.

Amazing Family Vacation!

Our week long stay at The Cedarwood Cabin was perfect! The cabin and location were better than described! Very spacious, plenty of room for our group of 7 and the dogs, stocked with everything we needed, and very comfortable. The walk to the beach was short and although there were plenty of stairs to get there it was worth every single one of them. The beach was beautiful and simply amazing. We’d definitely love to stay there again!

Wonderful cottage, well stocked, very clean.

Love staying here. So many wonderful nooks to do a puzzle, curl up with a book, watch the wildlife, just relax. Spent most days on the beach, grandkids loved it.

Family reunion

We really enjoyed our stay! Just a short walk (and a long stairway) to beautiful Lake Michigan, with sun, water, long walks on the beach, and spectacular sunsets. The home is set up nicely, nice quiet property, within a stone’s throw of a county road. There is a spacious kitchen, with lots of space for meal prep, and comfortable bedrooms. We highly recommend the property and owner; Janet has a nice place, and is easy to communicate with.
