This is a problem since the unit is literally above restaurants and shops - so lots of cars. The only way up to the unit is via one small elevator hidden in an info center. The steps are locked. Access requires a touch key code pad in the elevator and then a 2nd key code pad to enter the unit. Both have different numbers. The bed is located on the 2nd floor of the unit and the patio is on the 3rd floor. This place has a lot of twisted steps and is not good for small children or older folks.,

The HC staff was very accommodating and helpful with anything we needed through the stay including dropping off a brand new iron, due to the current one being pretty old! The only downfalls to this location are the small bathroom and shower area. I am 7mos pregnant and the small staircase with no railing and bathroom/shower were a little bit tough for me! Otherwise, a wonderful stay right in the heart of seaside! Great view on the rooftop.

good location but alot has changed in Seaside last few years

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location, condo is part of the main square on 30A with close access to the beach and shops. Had some sand in the condo and bed but that can be expected with beachfront rentals, so not a big deal. The oven wasn't operational but we typically went out to eat every evening. We've been coming to Seaside the last 4 or 5 summers but usually stay deeper in Seaside off of 30A since we have our kids with us and need larger space, so this was the first time we've stayed in or near the square. Everything seems fine in the area until about ~ 9:00pm. Apparently the last few years Seaside has started to allow golf cart parking along with the carts driven dangerously by junior high kids all through seaside. It seems to be mostly junior high/teenagers who aren't staying in Seaside and drive over from watercolor and seagrove once that area shuts down for the night. From 9:30pm-11pm it looks and sounds like Mardi Gras for middle school aged kids in the main square and all down 30A in Seaside with screaming, loud cursing by teens/young kids...The sound in the condo is fine, we had no issues but it wasn't really enjoyable to go outside or on the patio/balcony during that time. The noise/atmosphere is fine if you're staying in Daytona Beach, Ft Lauderdale, etc during spring break but not worth it for the price families pay to stay in Seaside. Eventually police clear out the kids every night around 11pm but it's unfortunate because the lack of parent supervision with these middle/junior high school kids trying to drive golf carts will eventually lead to a preventable accident in the area, if it hasn't already happened. It's getting to the point where long time regulars will just stay elsewhere for half the cost of Seaside to get the same experience/value.

End unit, very small, but works for 2 people. Just steps to beach/restaurants. Street noise can be heard most all the time. Property was clean, kitchen had great appliances. The view from the roof is wonderful-great spot for morning coffee/evening sunset, BUT tricky to get up there- Be cautious.Table and chairs on roof need attention - wooden and falling apart. Shower is crazy tiny! You need a step stool to reach the hanging bar in the bedroom closet. We took advantage of the bikes to bike the path up and down 30A, went to the pool one afternoon, and took pickle ball lessons at the tennis club. Workout room had top equipment. Parking was not a problem for us at the back of the building. We would recommend this property. Modeca Market is great-good coffee! Good food @ food trucks, Great Southern Cafe, Cafe 30A, Bud & Allie's upper deck, Surfing Deer all good restaurants.

While in the middle of all the action - near beach, restaurants and bars - it was peaceful and quiet. Apartment is nicely set up although a bit tight, particularly to get up on roof top. But beautiful views and sunsets up there. All was nice and clean, although we did see a few roaches. Some improvement needed with regards to instructions when arriving regarding parking. Once you know it's no problem but first time needs a bit more detailed instructions. Great place and we had a wonderful time!!! Hope to be back soon.

We reported it to management and asked to move to another location. We were concerned that more of the ceiling would fall down. We were told the only space available was a 5 bedroom location that would have cost us $600 more. We didn't need such a big space and weren't prepared to spend the extra money . After one night they moved us to Hook, Line and Sinker which was beautiful and large. The management company help us move and were very friendly and helpful.
