Nichée dans la forêt nationale d'Uwharrie, cette maison au bord du lac offre
couchers de soleil à couper le souffle et matins paisibles et paisibles. Ceci est une maison sans fumée. Trois chambres spacieuses sont au niveau supérieur avec une grande salle de bain complète. Deux chambres ont une vue imprenable sur le lac. Au niveau du lac se trouve la salle de rassemblement, la cuisine et une autre salle de bain complète ouvrant sur un grandiose enveloppement de pierre autour du porche. Un quai et une pataugeoire au lac complimentent tout niveau de nageur. Un canot est disponible pour profiter de la pêche et de la sérénité des 115 milles de rivage du lac.

Our group of friends gets together each year for a getaway. We chose this place this year and were very happy that we did. The house was perfect. The host was very responsive and we had a great time relaxing by the lake. decision

3rd year visiting this property - hope to return again!

The property is well maintained, host is great, and location is perfect for our family. The stairs are challenging for someone with mobility issues but every lake house we have rented has had stairs. This one offers exactly what we need and Majorie has always been super wonderful to work with. We don't spend as much time on the water as most guests probably do so had to repeatedly reset the thermostat to keep house cool (71-72), but we understand the need to keep utility costs down.

Family vacation

We always enjoy this property we have done this yearly usually we only get to spend 4 days this time we used an entire week and had a lot of fun caught bass in the lake canoed and visited with family and friends

Jeep Jamboree Get-together

Family and friends stayed at the Lakehouse and it worked out perfectly! Especially clean, nicely outfitted and with what a view. The owners responses to my questions were amazingly fast. Strongly recommend this place for any stay in and around Badin Lake!!

Awesome Lake House

Marjorie your house was just what we were looking for. Any closer to the water and we would have been in it. The covered porch was our favorite coffee spot…one morning a storm came through and we loved watching it go across the lake from the porch. We would recommend this house to anyone that loves the lake. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for sharing your piece of paradise with us! God bless!

This was a great rental. The whole process was easy from beginning to end. The notifications were timely. Communication with the property owner was easy too. The lake was beautiful and relaxing. We are definitely returning for more lake visits.

Although the weather didn’t cooperate it was a nice relaxing long weekend kids still played in water! Only one suggestion I would give better relaxing furniture in living room instead of futons as that’s where we tend to spend a lot of time! Owner was always quick to respond to emails thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with my family!

Used for Lodging

Upon our arrival, the inside of the home looked clean and welcoming. Once inside we noticed a layer of dust (not pollen) on the bedroom nightstands and across the top of the kitchen stove. There were cigarette butts left in the ashtray near the back porch entry door and an uncapped cleaning spray left on the dresser in one of the bedrooms. On the 6th day of our stay smelly damp rags were discovered left inside the washing machine. The top driveway was covered with at least a 3 foot high pile of leaves that my husband initially raked with his feet so we could park in the driveway without the car catching the leaves on fire. Afterwards we found a rake and cleared the driveway ourselves. Discovering there was no dishwasher was a huge let down. My mistake for not seeing this before renting. Relying on guests to thoroughly clean their own dirty dishes is a huge responsibility on the vacationing guests. The first mug we pulled from the cupboard was disgustingly dirty. We headed to the nearest Dollar General and bought a service for four dish set and silverware so we are guaranteed to have clean dishes during our stay. The great room furniture consists of two futons, equivalent to dorm room comfort, and a wicker chair. Beds upstairs are comfortable. Showers have nice water flow and hot water. Both bathrooms are updated and were clean. We used the rental for lodging only so we are unable to comment on fishing, swimming or boating activities. The home is relaxing and quiet. It would be a great place for large gatherings.

Badin Lake House

The outside area is lovely- very spacious porch, lots of seating with a great view of the cove. Very peaceful. The house is clean and spacious downstairs main living area. The decor is a little outdated, but well maintained.

We have had our lakes home since 2006. This was a dream come true as we camped on Badin Lake for 12 years before we found our home. It remains our family home. I'm now a widow, retired after 43 years in nursing. I share the management of the property with my sons. As a team we hope you all will love the lake as much as we have. We retained the honest and personal belief that we treat anyone the way we would expect to be treated.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

No agency with impersonal service. We are available by phone and email. We understand families are extended and we welcome your children and pets. We provide kayak and canoe so everyone may embrace our lake. We ask that all pets remain on the lower level to avoid pet issues in the sleeping carpeted areas. We partner with a Rental co. which offer a 25 ft. Tritoon w/ 200 HP motor.

Personal service., smoke free home and pets are always welcome on the tiled area of the house. Please be aware this is a lake side location so all children must be monitored when at the lake to avoid falls and water hazards.
