SIMPLY AWESOME!

We are so thrilled with this past week that we had at this amazing property! I’m not sure where to begin!The house is awesome- very clean, nicely furnished, comfortable beds and bedding, well stocked kitchen, great appliances and lots of tv’s! We brought our own games, but there are many options in the laundry area too! The outdoor entertaining is off the chain! The outdoor kitchen is amazing and there is a lot of seating! The firepit on the main patio was where a lot of our memories were made! My kids (young adults) loved the dock as well as the crows nest area with amazing views. Did I mention that EVERY toilet has a heated toilet seat!? My goodness now I don’t know how I will live without this in my life! The newly renovated bathrooms were gorgeous and the showers were amazing!The pontoon was immaculate and ran like a champ. This lake is so beautiful and we enjoyed our trips admiring the homes and scenery! The stereo system on the boat was great too…The best part- the host, SEBASTIAN! I’ve rented many VRBO’s and he is by far the most attentive and interactive host we have ever had. He responded immediately each time we called or had a question. SUPER nice man who clearly loves this home and wants a great experience for all his guests. THANK YOU!This is a wonderful home for ALL ages and it’s in a great location. Side note, the neighbors were lovely people! :-)11 out of 10 stars! BOOK THIS HOUSE! :-)The Needles

Excellent stay

We had a fantastic time this weekend. Property was clean, great view and perfect outdoor area. It was a laid back weekend with a little fun in the sun.Highlights for us were the outdoor kitchen and dock area. Nice kitchen, everything was clean, and we will be back!

Incredible home! Amazing views and absolutely awesome amenities! Very comfortable beds and the place was spotless and the attention to detail was exceptional! This was our 1st time and my family loved this house! The multiple decks were amazing, having a wood fired pizza oven, a flat top griddle and a gas grill as well as 2 fire pits made it hard to leave on check out day! I look forward to visiting the area again!

Lakeside Landing

We met with family for a long Thanksgiving weekend and had a great time at the house. It's exactly as described by the owner and it's exactly like the pictures. The communication and check-in process were every easy, the instructions for all the amenities were clearly written and understandable, the beds were all very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need, including some spices in case you forgot yours. The weather was a bit cold to spend much time using the outdoor amenities (there are many), but we did do a little fishing off the dock. There are lots of stores and restaurants only about 10-15 minutes away. We had dinner at Five Points Public House in downtown Albemarle and it was great. Highly recommend. Do yourself a favor if you're looking for a lake house to rent. Not only is a wonderful setup with everything you could want, but from May to November the rental fee includes use of a very nice pontoon boat.

Beautiful Getaway on the Water

We had a wonderful time. The property was perfect and had all of the amenities we needed and more. The ability to use the pontoon boat made our stay extra special. The host was pleasant and helpful and made the check in process seamless. A beautiful place with many opportunities to unwind and relax in a peaceful setting.

Great Lake Getaway!

We had such a great time! This was one of our best rental experiences - the house was great, the outdoor space is awesome, and the boat was a fun bonus. We visited in October so it was a little chilly in the mornings but it warmed up quickly and we enjoyed fishing, swimming, and cruising on the boat during the day. Smores and football by the fire in the evenings were great too. Sebastian was a great and communicative host. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Incredible view

The house is very warm and welcoming. The screened in porch is perfect for morning coffee. We had brunch on the deck under the pergola. We used both the grill and pizza oven on the stamped patio. Outstanding amenities!! Just be careful of the view of the lake. You may want to stay.

Great Family Vaca Spot

My family throughly enjoyed our time at Sebastian’s property. The home has fantastic views and plenty of room to spread out outdoors. The use of the boat certainly made the trip! We were fortunate enough to have mostly sunny weather to enjoy getting out on and into the water. Any questions we did have were quickly addressed by Sebastian, which we really appreciated. This was an annual family vacation with my husband’s mother, our grown children, and grandchildren. The location is prime, the house was immaculate, the amenities were awesome, especially the outdoor kitchen and all the space, seating, decks, fire pits, etc. The outside list is endless. Our big perk was the use of the boat on a daily basis, and we certainly got our use of the screened in porch. Highly recommended, and our entire clan loved it!

Relaxing stay in a beautiful setting

We stayed 4 nights at this lake property and had a great time. The house was perfect for all activities, whether relaxing on one of the multiple decks to watch the sun go down, sitting around the fire pit after dinner, lounging on the floats off the deck or cruising on the boat around the lake. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend but the water temperature was close to 80 degrees so very comfortable. The house has every amenity you can think of from sonos speakers both inside and along the deck, a full high end bbq with an outdoor griddle, a pizza oven and outdoor tvs in several areas. There was ample seating to eat outside on the top deck with a canopy or the lower level with raised counters for a larger group around the bbq and fire pit. Also a screened in seating area off the den which was a nice feature for one of the nights when it rained. The pictures are accurate and the house was clean when we arrived. The owner was responsive when we had questions during the stay and he spent a few minutes with us on the phone when we initially arrived to walk us through some of the features and setup. The lake is clean and easy to navigate. It was busy on the Saturday but not as crazy as other lakes we have visited around NC. The house is in a good location near one end of the lake and there is a Dollar General within a mile and they carry a lot of food, ice and beer which was helpful. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to renting again in the future. Highly recommend

Beautiful spot

The property and the view lived up to all expectations from the information provided online. Having use of the pontoon boat was a real plus, and not something a lot of property owners will do. The boathouse, decks and all the outdoor amenities are first class. We loved using the gas firepit and the outdoor griddle and eating space. The house is very nice and has everything you will need. Our daughters joined us for a couple of nights and we all had a great time. We even caught a few fish.

Everything You Need

This house was perfect. It had absolutely everything we needed to enjoy our stay on the lake with friends. The house was cozy and nicely updated. Tons of entertaining space and lots of room to fit two families of 4. I can't think of any negative things to say about the house, in fact, we were going to probably make this a yearly vacation with our close friends and kids each Summer. The house didn't have fishing poles, but we went right down to the store and purchased two rods and left them there for future guests to enjoy. The kids caught tons of fish right from the dock and were able to always keep themselves busy if we were not on the boat having fun. The house is in a great location and easy in and out for the boat as well. Nothing else to say about that house other than if you are interested or on the fence, book it. You are going to have a great time!

Family Getaway

We had a great time at the lake with all our family and girlfriends and all. Being on the water was so peaceful and having the boat was a definite added plus. We really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and made wood fired pizzas for the first time. Trip to Albemarle was easy for any supplies we needed. Would stay here again.

Another Great Vacation on the lake!

This was the second stay at Sebastian's lake house and our family had an incredibly fun time! Sebastian as always was a great host and had the house and boat ready to go for our arrival. Every morning, afternoon, and evening we would all spend either resting on all the available furniture or playing in the water or pulling the kids on the tube! I certainly look forward to more of these staycations as Sebastian's home is wonderful and offers so much to my family of five! Thanks again Sebastian!

My family and I have visited this property for the second time. The home has everything anyone would need, with great amenities such as the splash pad, the boat, and the outdoor entertaining area. Outstanding time at Lakeside Landing!

From the beautiful view, the outdoor kitchen and living spaces to the fun boat rides, this property made our vacation extra special. The house was super clean, and the beds comfortable. We loved the location and it was easy to run to town for lunch, dinner and supplies. Sebastian is an excellent host and made sure we were happy, along with providing excellent communication on the use of the boat. We will be back!

I am from New York. I bought this lake house after falling in love with Lake Tillery while visiting a longtime friend over the past few years. I am an airline pilot and travel extensively so I am not easily impressed but I was sold on this property as soon as I saw the beautiful lake views and the amazing dock spaces.

This property has an expansive main channel Waterview and an oversized two-story dock with two boat lifts. The location of the house puts it as close to downtown Albermarle, with all of its shops and stores, as you can possibly get and still be lakefront. Very convenient 7 min drive.
