Red Sky Lake House - Tranquility at the lake!

You are sure to love this cozy lake front cottage. Whether you are sitting by the fire, watching the kids kayak across the cove or sipping a cocktail on the dock, it’s hard not to feel relaxed at Red Sky Lake House.

We have 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms with comfortable sleeping space for 8 guests. This lake home sits on a beautiful wooded lot with 4 steps to the front door and the main house is all on one level with wrap-around decking on both the main level and basement level. It has 4 bedrooms, the primary suite has a king bed with an en-suite with jetted tub and separate shower. The first guest room includes a queen bed, the second guest room includes a full bed over looking the lake and the thirds guest room has 2 twin beds that can be made in to a king size bed with all bedding included. All bath towels, beach towels and bedding are included. Even dog towels are provided. (There is a pet fee of $120. If you have more than 2 pets please let us know so we can take that under advisement and if agreed upon, we will collect an additional pet fee.)

This cottage comes complete with a margarita machine, espresso machine, keurig, coffee pot, tons of games for the family, fire pit, bar-b-a grill, awesome porch and a large dock for fishing and boat parking. We have lots of fun water toys for rent as well, including 2 kayaks, large splash pad, 2 paddle boards and a 24ft. pontoon boat for rent! There is no shortage of fun here. You can even walk to a great lakeside restaurant with live music, karaoke and ice cream for the kids.

Upon request, we are happy to provide water toy rental pricing prior to your stay and offer discounted pricing for multiple day rentals as well.

Great place for a family break!

The owner was wonderful and the home so comfortable. My family loved renting the boat- so fun! Also loved the outdoor dock and fire pit.

Lakeside fall fun

We had a very nice stay at Lake Badin. We got to enjoy the fall colors both from the nice porches as well as from the pontoon boat. Great place!

Christmas Vacation

Our family met up here for a quiet Christmas getaway and we were not disappointed. This place was the perfect spot for our time together. The home was decorated for Christmas making it extra special and homey. It rained almost the whole time we were here but there was plenty to do in the house to keep us busy. The host is amazing and had several recommendations for things to do in the area. We also enjoyed the fire by the lake on the one night it didn’t rain. Highly recommend this spot!

Family time

I rented this house to just relax and enjoy some family time ! My grandson came in from Texas and it was my daughter’s birthday. The house was very spacious and the view was spectacular!

Red Sky stay

This is a beautiful location and nicely maintained with many great amenities! The interior is beautifully decorated and the property sits on Badin Lake with great views and many outdoor adventure opportunities. Very relaxing and quiet this time of the year.

Perfect vacation retreat

Red Sky Lake House is the perfect vacation retreat. Every thing you could possibly want is supplied for a fun stay. From a fully stocked kitchen, to toiletries in every room, beach towels for lake swimming and floats to spend a lazy day relaxing. This is our second stay and are looking forward to our third.

We had a beautiful stay at Red Sky for an early June getaway. The weather was great and Red Sky was a delightful family vacation home away from home! The porch was enjoyed morning, noon, and night! The water toys were great, also! We will be back!

Thumbs Up for Red Sky!

We made a last minute decision to book a lakehouse for a quick 5 day / 4 night getaway, and Red Sky was absolutely perfect. The property is located in a nice cove where you can watch the sun come up every morning out on the spacious deck. There was plenty of room at the dock for our boat, and the house was spacious, comfortable, and clean and had everything you need to enjoy some time away. Terra is great to work with, and everything in the home is in good working order. We would definitely rent again!

If you are looking for an amazing vacation then this is the home for you. Beautiful decorated, all the little special touches, right on the water, who could ask for more. We loved it so much we immediately booked our second visit. Dont let this VRBO pass you by. Worth ever dime....

Lake Vacay!

This is the 2nd stay at this house and it is the one we will continue to stay in when we go on vacation at Badin. Terra has thought of everything, and all the special touches make you feel like it is home. There are lots of lake toys to rent and enjoy and we all enjoyed the lake mats this year! It was great for our grandkids as they are not yet great swimmers. We appreciate being able to bring our fur babies with us, it would not be vacation without them being a part of it. Definitely a house worth staying at and excellent communication with Terra. The perfect house for our trip!!

Perfect in every way

Our stay at Red Sky Lodge was nothing short of amazing. The house was very clean and tastefully decorated. It slept 3 couples + 1 more adult very comfortably. The views were breathtaking and the entire feel of the house was serene. Perfect for summer or fall rentals! Terra was a pleasure to deal with and provided our group with some wonderful local recommendations! Will definitely book again next year

Dream getaway

This is an amazing property. Pack your favorite snacks, bathing suit and toiletries. Terra has everything else you will need there and available. House was immaculate, warm and welcoming. Love taking our boat and docking it during the stay. The deck views in the morning are perfect for coffee. We will be returning in the near future. Thanks for such an enchanting getaway at the lake. Red Sky House is a perfect Christmas getaway

Red Sky House at Badin Lake was a perfect place for a family Christmas gathering. It's half way between Georgia and Virginia. It's a beautiful lake front property with plenty of room. It has adorable nautical decorations. The owner also had put up a beautiful tree with lights for us to enjoy. It was super cold outside but with the fireplace it was cozy inside. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, plenty of games to enjoy and the beds were comfortable. Terra, the owner was quick to answer any questions and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be planning a return stay.

Perfect getaway!

This is an immaculate property! Everything is clean and you don’t have to bring a ton of extras just to start enjoying your time. Plenty of towels, blankets, kitchen and bathroom supplies. The bathrooms have shampoo and conditioner and body wash to use. The outdoor water toys were super fun. My kids used them all and explored the nearby shorelines for turtles and otters. We fished off the dock and off the boat. Our last night my son caught his first fish off the dock. The hosts were extremely efficient with communicating with us and helped with any issues that arose!! One thing to remember is the grocery is about 20 minutes away, so if you want to bring a cooler to stock up for the first night and the next morning that would be best. Also, not a lot of restaurants so plan to cook at the house! We had a wonderful time!!

Our stay at Red sky lake house was the best we've had!

Terra is an awesome host, she replied quickly, and is very nice . The house inside was very clean , the AC worked perfectly, kept the whole house the right temp for us. Each bathroom was well stocked with lots of towels , and beach towels for the lake, lots of floats , to play on in the water, noodles, the splash pad! There's so much to do here! We weren't bored even when it rained , there's lots of board games to play , also corn hole and Big block Jenga! Which was my kids favorite. And the early morning hours sitting out on the top deck was my favorite time and place, to drink my coffee and watch everything beginning to stir , Canadian geese floating by the dock and some type of water bird diving under for fish, it was so peaceful and relaxing. It was good fishing off the dock to, my husband caught a few good sized cat fish and rock bass, they all caught lots of those white striped bass, we all had a great time here . I would definitely recommend Terra's Red sky lake house!!
