Great little place.

Loved it. Was close to the airport. Great restaurants around. The pool and hot tub were lovely to relax in.

Hidden Gem

Perfect spot to rest and relax after exploring all that Houston has to offer. It has everything you need and the host is extremely helpful. We loved ending our day in the hot tub and plan to return again in the near future.

Great place to stay in Houston

The property is in a great neighborhood with lots to do within walking distance. The apartment is charming, nicely furnished and well equipped. The host went above and beyond to make us comfortable in every way. We had a great time and are very grateful she let us stay in her lovely home.

Love this place

All I’m saying is that my grandson said this is the place he wants to come back to when my husband gets his check up at the doctors. It’s very relaxing and quiet and nice place to stay. The lady is also very friendly and responds to your messages quickly. Love this place.

Weekend getaway

The cottage was perfect! Great location, and everything was so nice and clean. Dominique was great! She was so kind and available when ever we needed.

Great littlle cottage

It's an amazing cottage, to spend some time peacefully in the middle of rice village. Great price too, and the renter was wonderful. Made us feel at home.

Wonderful escape!

We stayed at the cottage while in Houston for "Match Day". Absolutely the perfect location for us and so much more relaxing than a hotel room. Very peaceful environment and well appointed cottage; couldn't have asked for anything better.

Wonderful place to stay!

This is a beautiful, charming cottage in a nice area of Houston. The salt water pool and hot tub were great during the hot Texas summer. Dominique, the owner, is a delight to meet. There are also a number of nearby restaurants and places to visit, many of which are in walking distance. This is a lovely place to stay and I look forward to visiting again!

Very nice and quite

Cute one bedroom house. It was so relaxing to sit outside by the pool. Didn’t get in the hot tub because we had a toddler with us hopefully next time we will be able too. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property and amazing host

Dominique is such a great host and her property is beautiful! The home is very clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the backyard is a serene oasis. Instructions and access codes were very clear and the property is located a great neighborhood, close to lots of restaurants and shops. I'll be sure to stay at Dominique's again the next time I visit Houston!

Lovely setting! Perfect location!

The place was super clean and comfortable. Dominique had artisan water in the refrigerator, coffee and tea for the morning. She even had some toiletries for guests. We prefer a firmer mattress, otherwise the place was ideal.

Great location and a place to stay!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. It is walking distance from several restaurants and bars. Dominique was very hospitable and helped us with everything we needed. There is a beautiful, large private pool with jacuzzi (but the temp was a bit too cold for swimming while we were there). We will differently come back again!

Charming, clean, beautiful

Dominique's cottage was the perfect place for my parents' visit to Houston. It was clean, well appointed, and a perfect location for us. We will be repeat tenants at Dominique's cottage. We had a truly wonderful experience, and Dominique is a lovely host! Highly recommend.

Charming and very comfy

We arrived for the start of our girls road trip in Texas. We were within a short walk to lots of restaurants and hangouts as well as local shopping. The cottage was well equipped with nice linens, kitchenware and more. Very clean and cozy!

Great stay!

Dominque was a great host. We happened to stay when a tornado hit and she did her best to accommodate us during the situation. The property was clean and as pictured. The only thing I can comment on is sometimes there was not parking right outside, we aren't used to that.

Hidden Treasure in the City

This little cottage has it all! We had the pleasure of using it long term while our home was being built. It provided a wonderful place to relax both inside or out in the garden next to the pool. We loved being able to walk to great restaurants, a bakery, and craft cocktail bars. This was our second stay and we plan on returning again!

Glad to have been able to rent this cottage in Houston!

Great location! Near to all the things we needed when we stayed in Houston. Great restaurants, farmers market, but of course, my daughter! It was just the right size for my husband and I for the weekend. loved having a clean, cute, and private rental in the midst of Houston. So glad it was open to rent on the Easter weekend we were in town. No complaints here! I would love to return if it worked out. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone needing a place to stay in Houston!

Great all around!

This property was perfect for our weekend visiting friends and attending a birthday party. We were able to walk to bars Friday night and get an uber Saturday night in literally two minutes. The apartment is pristinely clean, well appointed, and had everything we need. While the owner, Dominique, is on the property in a nearby house, she is not in the slightest bit intrusive or overly “present” however she was available with a quick text if we had any questions. We would definitely stay here again - we were kind of sad to leave!

Wonderful Oasis in the City of Houston

We spent a relaxing 4 days at the Montrose Cottage and it met all of our expectations. The cottage is in a quiet location but close to all amenities. Groceries, restaurants and Starbucks! Dominque is a wonderful host, leaving us to enjoy her property but making sure we could reach her if needed. The cottage is amazingly clean, comfortable and perfect for two people. We took advantage of the wonderful outdoor setting and the warm weather to sit outside as much as possible. We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in the city.

Home away for the Holidays

The Montrose Cottage was the perfect fit for our family. We had plenty of room to hangout together for Christmas in the open kitchen living room besides enjoying the great backyard. It was terrific to be able to walk to neighborhood coffee shops, restaurants and bars that provided craft cocktails. Dominique was a fabulous host who made sure that we had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped and plenty of bath towels and beach towels for the pool. We especially appreciated her love of dogs. When we return to Houston we will be staying here again.

Cozy Family Thanksgiving

Our family of 4 (plus our little dog) had the pleasure of staying here over Thanksgiving - what a treat! The space was more than large enough for all of us (even with the sofa bed pulled out all day) and comfortable. Dominique has thought of everything and the kitchen and bathroom were well appointed. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, playing tennis at the sweet park 2 blocks away and eating and drinking on nearby Westheimer. We traveled all over central & downtown Houston and this location made that easy. Plus my kids were in the pool every day and we spent some lovely evenings relaxing in the hot tub. I highly recommend this lovely cottage and big thanks to Dominique!

Perfect retreat in Houston

Our stay at Dominique's cottage was excellent. We actually live in Houston (Southbelt), but take regular excursions in town and stay either downtown, Galleria, or Montrose for the night. Dominique was an excellent host and the cottage, along with the saltwater pool and Jacuzzi, were just what we needed. The cottage is well-kept, clean, and roomy. Despite only being a street over from Westheimer, our stay was extremely quiet with very little street noise. This is a great destination for those who want to take a staycation, or for visitors who would like the quiet and solitude not afforded by hotels. We will definitely return. Thanks, Dominique!

Great Stay at Montrose Cottage!

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Montrose Cottage in late February 2016. The cottage is spacious (almost 1,000sf), well equipped (full kitchen, washer and dryer, and even had a generous supply of incidentals such as ziplock bags, shaving cream for my husband who forgot his razor, paper towels, extra bath towels, etc....) and private! The property is behind a tall privacy fence and shares the pool/backyard with the hostess, Dominique who lives in a nearby house. That said, you will typically not see or hear Dominique unless you call or text her with a request or need, which she answers quickly. Everything was very clean, neat, and well organized throughout the cottage. Highly recommended!

Very private 1 bedroom, 1 bath home with residential parking in Houston's Montrose area; within walking distance of all the "go to" places. Easy access to the medical center, downtown Houston and much more. Cozy bungalow has all utilities included with weekly maid service upon request with supplement. Private entrance with motion sensor flood lights. The master bedroom has Brazilian cherry hardwood flooring throughout and attic storage if needed. Excellent accommodation for clients relocating to Houston on temporary job assignments or in need of long term medical care. Sorry the Cottage is not equipped for Handicapped customers.
