Jon , We are glad that you had an enjoyable stay at our home on our beautiful island. Within the past two years we have had 3 major hurricanes which cosmetically affected the exterior of our home. We are slowly addressing those issues. We are happy that you enjoyed a CLEAN FULLY EQUIPED HOME WITH A NEW GOLF CART. We are a family budget friendly property that provides a clean fully furnished home close to the beach at lower cost than the majority of homes on the island. May I suggest if you decide to return to our island that you search out other homes that are more cosmetically appealing to you on the exterior at a substantially higher price. Again, we are glad you enjoyed your stay on this special island paradise.

We are glad that you had such a wonderful time on our special island. Thank you for recognizing our efforts of providing a CLEAN and FULLY FURNISHED home. I have to say this is the first, out of over 50+ reviews that we have received, to hear comments like this.. Being on an island surrounded by sun sand sea and salt things do take a beating and it is a constant requirement, which we accept, to repair and replenish all items in our home AS NEEDED. I assume your comments about rusted items pertain to the newer items we have that are stored outside that take an extreme beating from the weather. Our house is fully air-conditioned which runs continuously so there would be no rusted or for that matter broken items on the inside. We have found that the vast majority of our guest are pleased with the amenities that are provided for the budget price that they are paying. I am sure there are other homes on the island that have possibly newer towels and newer linens, that may or may not have as well of a furnished home with all the amenities as we do, at double the price of ours. I highly recommend that you try out one of those more expensive homes. Again thanks for recognizing our efforts of providing a CLEAN and WELL STOCKED home. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay on our wonderful island.

I am a bit confused why after your comment above "Communication with the owner was great, he was very nice and helpful" you did not contact me and report an issue with the cart. We have a full time maintenance staff on island to address all needed repairs that happen from time to time. We would have been more than happy to take care of any issues you had with the cart. We are in a very harsh enviroment on this barrier island, everything becomes weathered from the sun,sand,sea,wind and salt. Once again we are glad enjoyed our home on this special Island.
