La Casetta di Orvieto

Le logement est dans le centre historique, dans un quartier très calme. Finement rénové en 2016. Il comprend une chambre double, une chambre simple et un canapé-lit double dans le salon. Le logement peut accueillir jusqu'à 5 personnes. La cuisine est équipée de tout le confort et ustensiles (réfrigérateur et congélateur, lave-vaisselle, four, four micro-ondes, machine à café expresso et machine à café américaine, bouilloire, grille-pain, mixeur). Vous trouverez du thé, des dosettes de café, des biscuits secs et des articles pour le petit-déjeuner à votre disposition.
TV présente dans chaque chambre et dans le salon. Draps et serviettes disponibles.
Service Wi-fi présent. Laveuse / sécheuse disponible.
Un petit jardin extérieur et une terrasse avec une splendide vue panoramique peuvent être utilisés.
Le Casetta est situé tout près à pied du parking public couvert appelé Ex Campo della Fiera ou Campo Boario, relié au centre-ville par des ascenseurs et des escaliers mécaniques construits à l'intérieur de la falaise.
Le prix minimum se réfère au séjour pour n. 3 personnes. Chaque invité au-dessus de la troisième personne paie un prix supplémentaire de 15,00 € par nuit.
Ménage quotidien supplémentaire possible sur demande pour 20,00 €.

Comfortable and convenient.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chiara’s apartment in Orvieto. She went out of her way to make our stay easy and enjoyable, arranging taxis and helping with luggage. The apartment is comfortable and close to the many tourist attractions of this picturesque historic city. We would certainly stay here again.

Beautiful Apartment!

We loved the property, it was beautiful and the owner was kind and welcoming. The garden was stunning, I love roses, and we had an amazing view of the countryside. Orvieto is quaint and charming and we hope to be back again someday!

Our stay at Casetta di Orvieto

Our stay at Chiara’s home was fantastic! Chiara was incredibly communicative leading up to our stay and provided us driving directions to the main parking lot in town, where she met us and then walked us to the house. The house was exactly as the pictures depict it - cozy and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the brief walk through the streets of Orvieto to the main part of town where there were many dining and shopping options. Chiara offered us lots of information on Orvieto and sites to visit. We’d definitely stay at Casetta di Orvieto again!

Beautiful space. The host could not have been more gracious and accommodating -- met us at the apartment (early arrival) on arrival and departure, showed the apartment to us and made dinner reservations. Perfect stay.

We enjoyed our short stay. It was immaculate and cozy. The view was very nice and made for a photo memory. Chiara is a sweet woman, and very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this place and may return myself some day.

A place of delight in Orvieto

Orvieto itself is just charming. Bring able to stay at Chiara's darling cottage made it perfect. Spotlessly clean. with every amenity you could think of we just loved it. The decor is a delight and with comfortable bed and pillow sleeping was great. You will love staying here. Loved the great shower and the view was amazing. We loved the patio to have coffee in the morning and a glass or "two" of wine in the evening Meeting Chiara and enjoying this amazing hilltop villsge was a highlight of our 3 weeks in Italy. you will not be disappointed.

A true find tucked away.

We really enjoyed our stay, unfortunately we didn’t get in till late evening so we went back to visit the town prior to leaving. Chiara was a wonderful host and the apt was very clean. We have nothing but great things to say and will certainly have good memories of our visit to ORVIETO. Ciao.

The perfect base in one of the gems of Umbria

This property is an absolute delight, positioned in the oldest and quietest quarter of Orvieto, but in easy walking distance of some of the best restaurants as well as the top sights, shops and bars. Inside it is very comfortable and well-equipped; outside there is a lovely, perfumed little garden and a terrace with a stunning view. Chiara, the owner, could not be more helpful. Orvieto itself is a delight, which can be enjoyed in its own right over a number of days or used as a base for visiting the other wonders of southern Umbria. It has excellent train and bus connections as well as being just of the A1 Rome Firenze autostrada. The food and wine is superb.

Picture perfect apartment in Medieval Area

We arrived from Rome by train. Orvieto is a lovely city where you can walk everywhere. The streets and alleys are picturesque but steep. The piazzas are all lovely and provide a place to relax and grab a bite to eat. The apartment has everything you need including a washer/dryer in an adjacent building. Chiara is a lovely host. She had many recommendations for the area. We walked down and up St Patrick’s Well. Fascinating architecture. My only comment about the apartment is the lighting for the main room (kitchen/sitting room/dining area): the main light is very, very bright. If there were a dimmer switch, it would be more welcoming. Chiara arranged for a taxi from the train station and back to the train station when we checked out. Very accommodating. We thought it was the perfect place to stay.

Wonderful Stay in Orvieto

My husband, my 2 children (18 and12) and I stayed here. Chiara was great to work with. Prior to our arrival, she answered all of our questions and explained where to go and how to contact her. The property was extremely clean and perfect for our needs. The patio was such a nice place to sit in. Orvieto is a great town! There’s lots to see and eat there and this property is within easy walking distance of everything. We were able to do day trips to Florence, Rome and it would be easy to get to several more. Chiara helped us set up our very early taxi to the train station upon our departure. She is a wonderful host and I highly recommend staying in her property.

a secret gem

the house was immaculate but the selling point was the outside space and position within the town.although completely central the space outside was a delight for eating and being. The hostess was so helpful, booking taxi's for us for arrival and departure. There was cooking equipment and different coffee machines with coffee. Orvieto was a beautiful place and we stayed a week without a car. easy to get to from Rome.

Stunning and Quaint

This property is very comfortable and has all the amenities you need. Chiara was always quick to reply to our questions even when we got lost walking the windy narrow streets after sunset our first night out. I highly recommend staying here as it is almost midway between Rome and Florence yet is a destination in itself with its stunning views, rich history, good dining, and romantic atmosphere. Who wouldn’t want to stay in a walled city? I’ve never felt safer and the city is extremely clean.

Great apartment, fabulous city.

The apartment is excellent in all respects. It is within easy walking distance of all the main sights/sites of the old city, but is in a quiet enclave away from traffic and other noise. There is even a rose filled garden for relaxing in, and a tiny terrace with views across the countryside. The apartment is very well equipped, and the owner very responsive to all requests. Orvieto has a long history and a great deal to offer the tourist. I would stay in this apartment again given the chance. Thank you Chiara.

Everything we hoped for

Chiara is a wonderful host, immediately responding to every inquiry, and even meeting us at the bus stop in torrential rain with 2 oversized umbrellas to lead us to her wonderful apartment. We have stayed in Orvieto a couple times before and we really enjoyed this apartment. It was perfect for the two of us, and we really enjoyed being just out of the touristy center of the town, but close enough that everything was only a 5 minute walk. We even found some wonderful restaurants and bars on this side of town that we hadn't encountered before, an ideal location. When we return to Orvieto,we hope this place is available, it will be our first choice.

A Great Apartment in Historic Orvieto

This is a well stocked apartment with everything you would need to enjoy your stay in Orvieto. Orvieto is a small Italian hill town that is very historic and with many points of interest. Everything, including restaurants, markets, shops and historic sites, is walkable from this apartment. The apartment is lovely. The living area, kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom are very attractive, beautifully outfitted and spotlessly clean. There is a nice sitting area just outside with a great view of the Umbrian countryside. The neighborhood is charming and very quiet. Chiara was most attentive and met us with her car at the railroad station. She was always available to answer any questions about the apartment or Orvieto. We recommend Chiara’s apartment highly.We liked it and the town of Orvieto so well that we have already made arrangements to stay here again in 2018.

Probably the most modern apartment we have rented in Europe in the past 10 years, a dream.

This apartment has been totally updated and represents the best in equipment. Such a pleasure to have good bright lights in every room. It is well laid out for its size, and the outdoor area is a plus. The laundry machine is located in a small shed on the patio. Walking to just about any historic place in the city is easy from here. However we recommend that you have Chiara book you a taxi from the station to deliver you to the apt for 15 euros, as the public transport system she proposes ,while cheaper, means that you will be dragging your suitcases down a long narrow cobblestone road, and then up a shorter distance on more cobblestones for a total of 5-7 minutes walking depending on your physical condition. Chiara was prompt with her communication. The only downsides to this apt that we noticed is that despite its modernity, it has no AC, and only one portable fan. On the upside, most, but not all, windows have screens, an amazing rarity in Italy, where mosquitos where still happily buzzing around outside in late October. The apt says it sleeps 5, however, the 2 people sleeping in the living/kitchen/dining room will have to fold up the sofa bed before preparing breakfast. The front door is self locking and has no door handle, it can only be opened by a key. Quite easy to be locked out if you aren't paying attention, especially if you were just going to sit on the patio, you still need to key. None the less, we highly recommend this apartment and would mostly definitely return to it and recommend it to our friends. Highly rated, I 'd give it 6 stars if I could. Grocery shopping, bakery, etc all within a 10 minute walk or less.
