Air central. Grande salle à manger dans la cuisine, entièrement équipée. Superbe vue sur les cerfs en jeu et en mangeant notre végétation. Stationnement hors rue. Wi-fi haut débit. Télévision par câble. Deux salles de bain complètes. Salle à manger. Marchez jusqu'aux spas et aux salons de manucure. Marchez jusqu'au Wurstfest (15 minutes). We have stayed at this lovely property multiple times and it is ALWAYS very clean! It is exactly as listed, and the host is very responsive. Plenty of options for everyone to be together at the same time as well as quiet places for just a couple of people to visit. We highly recommend it!

Cute historic home near downtown

Stayed over the 4th for an annual tubing trip with family. Due to weather we were unable to do much tubing, but loved the convenience of walking to shopping and restaurants! Dogs loved the backyard and making friends with the local deer. Home is older but very charming!

Family fun

Great space for a small family get together to enjoy walking distance to tubing the river (tubes were included) and an evening at Greune Hall. Very well stocked kitchen and lovely porch in the front and deck out back with plenty of seating for everyone.

NB Stay

I spent a much needed time off in this charming property. The hosts were easy to deal with and the house was comfortable for my lengthy stay. Close to the Comal but not a traffic problem. It was quiet. Location was perfect for dining and shopping.

The home was very clean, walking distance to dinning, night life, Comal River and tube rental/shuttle. Everything is in house that you would need for a comfortable stay. The owners made sure we had everything we needed.

Perfect for tubing

Perfect for people that want to go tubing. It’s an easy walk to the locations to put in and get out. The check in process was super convenient and the communication from the host was great. There were lots of thoughtful touches throughout the house. Overall great stay!!

Peaceful Setting

The house is wonderfully decorated with era charm. The porch swings were a dealing to sit in and watch the deer. Quiet neighborhood and close to shopping and site seeing. The owners are a lovely couple. Highly recommend this house!

Fun place

House is very vintage and cozy. It is a very quick walk to the drop in for tubing on the river. The downtown area is very close too with many shops and restaurants. Muck & Fuss was great. We had a great time floating there and even in San Marcos. San Antonio is only about a 30 minute drive too. We would love to co.e back. We would stay at the same place, for sure.

Relaxing and comfortable

Even though it was a cold and rainy weekend, we enjoyed the home tremendously. The home was closed to Gruene and downtown New Braunfels. However, just sitting outside on the porch and enjoying the scenery was the best. Our children really enjoyed watching the deer's walking around.

Wonderful Stay

Stayed at the property with my family of four (including two kids and a dog) plus my in-laws. Owners were very accessible before the stay and at check-in. The house was convenient to the river and downtown (both walkable, but did drive to both as well because of the heat and carrying tubes). Pictures are accurate. For those bringing pets, backyard is not fenced. Not an issue for us and was nice to see the deer in both the front and back yards. Overall great stay and would stay at the property again.

The Bonaparte Place

Location, Location, Location! We enjoyed staying at the Bonaparte Place. This home was absolutely amazing! We were so happy with our choice. The house was exceptionally clean and extremely well stocked!!! Included were so many of the little amenities we all need at home that we all take for granted until we don't have them. The deck was lovely and we even saw MANY MANY deer including a newly born fawn. What a warm, welcoming, well-equipped, wonderful place! From the ease of booking, the detailed shopping, restaurants, and attraction booklets, charming yard, great walkability to the river, and overall good vibes, we could not have asked for more. Thank you for the joy and delight of staying at such a lovely spot. Exceptional in every way! We will definitely be recommending this charming home to our family & friends. From the minute we entered the house we fell in love and cannot wait to return!

Absolutely loved staying in New Braunfels at Leslie’s home! House was well equipped, clean, and so comfortable! Loved swinging on the front porch as much as possible, and the home itself was so comfortable. It felt like home. The location - perfect! Easy, enjoyable walk to all New Braunfels fun - the river, restaurants, pubs - and an easy Uber drive to Gruene! Leslie was super helpful and communicative! She left folders of things to do and see! We will be back!!

We went to New Braunsfels to celebrate my bday with a group of friends. We loved the proximity and easy walk to the Prince Solms hotel and all the downtown restaurants etc. The house was very cute, cozy, and had a very nice front patio where we all loved sitting and watching the numerous deers. We enjoyed our stay and Leslie was so nice and a great host.

This was an amazing, adorable getaway in the perfect location. We loved this home, it was beautiful in every way. We saw deer everyday in the back yard and across the street, we loved having coffee on the front porch swing, and we could walk to market street for shopping and dining. I loved the craftsmanship of this older style home with modern convenience.

Very clean and charming “Grandma’s House” (meant in the best possible way). Loved the kitchen table area, quiet and perfect location, and hanging out on the front porch swings. The best part of stay was watching the many deer and fawns in the neighborhood.

We are Leslie and Tom in the photo. We love living in New Braunfels and welcome you to our town. We are both Texans recently returned from living in the New York City metro area. When we visited New Braunfels from 1990 thru 2003, we stayed in the house on Napoleon when it was owned by friends. In 2004, our friends sold it to us. We use it for our friends who come to town and rent it out short-term. It is a charming place. It was built in 1910 or so. Wooden house. We call it Bonaparte Place because it is on Napoleon Street.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Bonaparte Place is so centrally located. Living is easy. The Arlans grocery store is a 5 minute drive. There are about fourteen good restaurants within two miles. The best in-town music venues are a ten-minute walk away. My siblings and I came to New Braunfels frequently as children. We fell in love with the river and the trees. As children, we spent all day in the river. My husband and I brought our two daughters here from New York City on vacations. When we decided to leave the hub-bub of NYC, New Braunfels was our choice.

In 1979, a local family built the water park known as Schlitterbahn. Over the years, they added on and now have three sections of park with lots of rides. It is tons of fun.

In addition, New Braunfels has a huge music scene. Downtown has three or four bars with music five nights a week. And then there is the famous Gruene Hall. It is a ten minute drive from the house. If you like music, check the schedule immediately and buy tickets for your stay. The shows sell out quickly for name artists.

New Braunfels is a great place to stay and play. Don't forget your sunblock, cooler and water shoes. We have towels and tubes for you.

Our house was built in 1910. It takes you back to a simpler time. It has hardwood floors, hardwood ceilings, a claw foot tub, and a modern shower. The back deck offers a private place to hang out at the end of your day. This is the perfect place to relax and get away from your day to day life.

Our wonderful maid is a clean freak.
