This apartment was well located in the center of Lucca near Piazza San Michele. It has been very nicely remodeled and the photos in the description are very accurate. The unit was very clean and comfortable and the check-in and check-out process was very easy. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, glassware and cooking utensils for those who wish to eat in. For breakfast, there is an excellent bakery and several cafes close by.
The only negatives I would mention is that the apartment faces a narrow street with pedestrian traffic, so the window lighting is not bright, and there can be street noise from loud people at night. Also, this apartment is on the first floor above ground level, so there is a flight of stairs. These issues did not really bother us and we would definitely stay here again.
The apartment is within walking distance of all the things we wanted to see, the walk on the walls, the Puccini Museum, the amphitheatre, churches, restaurants and shops.
The apartment is quite large and beautifully appointed. Maika met us on arrival and explained everything we needed to know. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it.
Mr. Cosmi and his staff made us most welcome. Professional, well-mannered, efficient, reliable and attentive to our needs. We would recommend this location to everyone.
Lovely apartment in the center of Lucca close to San Michele, restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. We were greeted by Maika promptly as arranged and she was very helpful with directions and instructions. The apartment is clean, well furnished and looks as good as the pictures. The kitchen was more than adequately stocked, the bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms though not large were clean. There is a washer but no dryer and no line to hang clothes to dry.
We had a problem with one bathroom but it was promptly fixed.
Lucca is a nice town to explore and the wall is a nice place for the daily Constitutional. There is little parking in the city so we usually parked quite a distance away.
We did day trips to Cinque Terre, Firenze and Siena very easily from Lucca.
All in all it is a place I would easily recommend.
