Péniche unique sur terrain sec parfait escapade romantique ou familial

La péniche de Maggie comprend 1 chambre, un loft aménagé à l'étage et 1 salle de bain. La chambre principale est en bas avec une seule salle de bain. A l'étage, vous trouverez un loft relaxant (pas de porte). Cet espace ouvert dispose d'un lit de repos confortable qui peut accueillir 2 personnes lorsqu'il est ouvert. Vous trouverez de nombreux livres à lire, des VHS et des DVD à regarder sur un téléviseur à écran plat de 42 pouces et une large sélection de CD à écouter si tout ce que vous voulez faire est de vous détendre. Et pour encore plus de détente, profitez de votre propre coin. Vous pouvez également faire une sieste à l'extérieur dans la terrasse, car nous avons du beau temps toute l'année.

En bas, profitez d'un téléviseur à écran plat de 42 pouces sur un canapé confortable, qui s'ouvre sur un lit queen-size. Pour votre plaisir, vous avez la possibilité de regarder le câble, VHS ou DVD. Pour ceux d'entre vous qui aiment cuisiner, vous avez une cuisine entièrement équipée ou utilisez simplement le barbecue extérieur. Vous pouvez manger à l'extérieur dans votre kiosque privé ou rester à l'intérieur et profiter de notre salle à manger. Vous constaterez que notre péniche a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur de la maison. Il vous suffit d'apporter votre brosse à dents et vos vêtements. Maggie was wonderful to deal with. We had a problem with the stove and she was right there with a different one. Excellent service. The bed was really comfortable . The wi-fi and t.v. were great.

Fun place to stay.

Unique in a good way, neighbors are friendly and close to many things to see and do. Pennekamp State Park is four miles away, went often. Went diving with Horizon Divers about two miles away, traveled to many parks on other Keys and visited Key West. There were some minor post hurricane glitches but a phone call or text to Maggie and Vivian got immediate response and glitches solved. These owners are great to work with.

Paradise Found!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maggie's houseboat. Very clean upon arrival, and in a good neighborhood. Kitchen was well stocked. We loved the little loft area and sunning deck. Maggie was always available if we needed her and emailed us to make sure everything was going ok. We will definitely stay here again!

i agree with all 5star reviews this house is great and owners great to work with, 5 stars to them as well the house has everything you need,sitting out the back at night is very relaxing i would recommend Jimmy Johnstons for excellent entertainment/drink about 5mins away by car recommended to me by Maggie, good call Maggie thanks for letting us stay in your lovely home

The house was so adorable and so comfy!!! It had everything you would need.

I would definitely stay in this house again! It is so comfy and such a unique house. We spent alot of time there because it rained everyday except for one. But other than that I would recommend this house to anyone!!

Didn't live up to the expectations created from the listing and photos.

Part of the reason I booked this property was how inviting the yard looked, but we were very disappointed. All the furniture was very weather worn and almost all of it was structurally unsound. The hammock pictured in the add was broken by other renters and there for not available. The key to the marina and picnic area at the end of the street supposedly at our disposal was lost by other renters and also not available. There were ants in the kitchen and palmetto bugs in the downstairs bedroom. On the bright side, the renters were very nice and replied immediately via text with any questions we had. The beds were very comfortable, and the boat house itself was charming and unique. But we would not book it again and would not recommend it to people of healthy size, tall or wide. We left not feeling as though we got what we expected or paid for.

Renting a vacation home can be something you didn't bargain for and I think we can all agree on that. Pictures sometimes don't give it justice or sometimes they can create an illusion. My sister and I take immense pride in making our guests’ vacation a memorable one. We decorate our houses in a style that's simple, yet chic and very comfortable for our guests to enjoy. Our houses are decorated with natural finishes to give it an inviting, yet fun island flare. With that said, we would like to provide clarification on some of these issues. Outdoor furniture does get weather worn. This is unavoidable as it rains constantly in the Keys, especially throughout summer. However, rest assured that all outdoor furniture are safe to sit, relax or just lay in. The hammock was removed for safety reasons. We intended to replace it, but unfortunately it was not in time for all our outdoorsy guests. The Marina key, is not part of the rental agreement, but an extra perk for guests who rent with a boat at an extra charge. We gladly allow our guests to enjoy the walk thru the park and the sunsets at no charge. The key to the Marina was lost by the previous guests and it takes Association approval to replace, which we are in the process. The Florida Keys is a beautiful natural habitat and, yes there are bugs and pesky friends that can inadvertently sneak into the house when opening doors or windows. This is unavoidable and out of our control, especially if food is left unopened, but rest assure that we take all measures to control any undesirable friends without hurting Mother Nature and its local inhabitants such as butterflies, bees and some necessary creatures that contribute to our eco system. We are truly sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. We take reviews and comments extremely serious and we will do everything possible to improve ourselves. We encourage our guests to advise us of anything that can be remedied during their stay. We find that communication is the best methodology to a good relationship between our guests and ourselves. We know that if you give us another opportunity we can make your next stay a more pleasurable one. Sincerely, Maggie and Vivian

A little piece of heaven

I call this place "a little piece of heaven". The house boat was everything and more than I expected. I just wanted to stay inside the house, it felt so relaxing. Maggie and Vivian made the entire process pleasurable. They made me feel like family. I will be staying there again.

What a great , quaint place to stay. The houseboat is spotless and has plenty of amenities

We loved this house! Maggie is easily accessible for any questions and needs. The house is spotless and has all that you would need to make this a "home away from home" We cooked in the kitchen most nights. Nice location.. near Pennekamp Park and anywhere in the Keys you want to see. The backyard is fabulous! Would definitely recommend!

This Houseboat exceeded our Expectations...

Maggie was a pleasure and very accommodating to work with. There were 4 of us (my two teenage sons, my wife and I), and everything was just like Maggie said it would be! She was just a text away when we had a question, but everything was so conveniently laid out and explained in the Guidebook, so we only had one or two. The location was very convenient to everything, including to our Dive Shop (Quiessence) and to some amazing food (my favorite was Mrs. Mac's for the seafood and the key lime pie)! I'd recommend this dry-docked houseboat to anyone visiting the Florida Keys -- also very economical. And the air conditioning made it feel so good to come home. When we go back we'll definitely stay at the Houseboat again. Thanks Maggie! --Daniel & Leah & Jacob & Logan

Loved it!

We loved the house boat! It became our home away from home! I slept so well in the master bedroom. The hostesses were great! They provided snack, water, and most importantly valuable information. They were never more than a text away to answer questions about the house and location! They told us about the great restuarants near by. We spent out days out exploring and spent a couple of days diving. It was a perfect trip!

Unique experience for a holiday weekend.

Maggie was amazing and responsive. The house is quaint, qwirky and unique. We loved it. Definitely a good experience. Used it as base camp for our dive weekend. Close to many docks for dive trips.

An excellent choice to stay in the keys! The houseboat is close to everything you would need, the owners are very responsive & it is decorated so cute! From the minute you step inside you will feel right at home! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a great get away!

Cute and cozy!

Cute, eclectic, clean, great location... a great place to spend out time in the Keys. One small hiccup was easily fixed, as the property owner is very responsive to calls and texts. Would highly recommend!

Just an awesome spot!

The house "boat" is absolutely the neatest thing. The backyard is a so cute and private. Loved laying out on upper deck. Everything u need is there. Location is great, even the little neighborhood beach is a great spot for sunsets or lying in sun! The owners are awesome and answered "all my texts" with questions immediately! I hope to get back there next year...thanks, ladies, for a great place to stay. Wished we could have stayed longer...

Very cute place

Great spot in a quiet neighborhood with nice neighbors. Only issue was that we brought our toddler and the spiral stairway was kind of hazardous to him, so we had to pay extra attention. Besides that it was a great place to stay.

Unique home away from home.

Staying in the boathouse on land was a unique experience. The location on Key Largo is perfect. There is little noise and traffic and those staying in the area are very friendly. There are lovely state parks near by to enjoy. Our stay was for two weeks. It was well supplied for cooking in and included extra treats from Maggie. Maggie was a wonderful hostess. So kind and willing to do whatever she could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Hausboot mit allem was man braucht

Das Hausboot liegt in einer ruhigen Nebenstraße. Einkaufs und Ausgehmöglichkeiten aber gleich ums Eck. Der Wohnraum ist natürlich etwas beengter als in einem Haus, grade der Essbereich, Küche und Bad sind recht klein. Die Wohnbereiche dagegen sind großzügig, die Terasse und der Garten sind toll. Ansonsten ist alles vorhanden was man für einen angenehmen Urlaub braucht. Maggie war sehr zuvorkommend bei allen Fragen und hat immer sofort geantwortet. Einzig das Ausziehsofa war etwas unbequem zum liegen. Wir würden es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Charming little get-away!

I booked this property for friends who were joining us for vacation (I was staying with family). Once I saw the property, I wished I had booked for myself! It is absolutely charming, delightfully "kitschy", and very comfortable (according to my friends). Maggie was wonderful to work with--very accessible and accommodating. I had the opportunity to spend a few hours relaxing in the back yard -- can't describe how relaxing it was. Definitely plan to go back and fully enjoy it myself!

Best Place to stay in the Florida Keys

I have lived in 3 continents. I have travelled extensively in my life. I have stayed in 5 star hotels and no star motels. I have experienced everything when it comes to accommodations. I understand that it is always hard to make the choice where to stay. There are many things to think about. So many things that can go wrong. Horrible unthinkable consequences. The solution is now available at Vivian and Maggie's' property. You don't have to think or worry about anything, everything is there. They think of everything you may need during your stay. They are awesome. The property is clean, spacious, well equipped, lovely, romantic, well maintained, easily accessible, comfortable, greatly priced, and so much more. If anybody ever gives this property less than 5 stars, they are crazy. It was better than any other resort in the Keys by a long shot. The best place I have ever stayed. Seriously! It felt I was home. Don't look any further, book it now and enjoy it. We will definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time staying in this unique houseboat. It has such personality with plenty of places to relax. Although there is so much to do on Key Largo, it was the end of our trip, so we enjoyed just reading on the screen porch and walking around the neighborhood. Maggie was an excellent hostess. We hope to make it back next year.

Coolest House Ever!

We loved staying at this unique house in a great location! We have never had such wonderful hosts...from leaving us snacks and drinks upon arrival, responding immediately with any questions we had and giving us awesome recommendations on restaurants and activities! My sister and I found that just about every weekend we were driving to the Keys from Miami. We did this for about a year when we decided why not purchase a home here. We now have 2 homes in the Keys and we would love for you to share the same great moments we have been experiencing for the past few years.

It's a great place to get away and just relax. Very peaceful. It is close to everything restaurants, bars, activities, beach, boat ramp. Beautiful sunsets. You will want to stay here forever.
