Love it!

We absolutely loved the condo! The furnishings were beautiful and just as you see in the pictures, if not better. It was our first trip to Destin and it did not disappoint. Will definitely be back and would rent from here again.

Great location!

Great location, great condo with easy beach access. Balcony had ocean view. Just be sure to bring coffee filters, coffee, extra trash bags and depending on how many people you have, extra toilet paper. Having a toddler with us, the outlets were an issue for us, but can’t expect them to be prepared. We should have thought about that and brought our own. We would definitely go back again. We loved it.

Very clean unit and nicely decorated. Really liked the free beach chair and umbrella rental. Pool was always crowded and tennis courts were always occupied but it was spring break weekend. Overall, a wonderful stay and perfect for families with kids.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love staying at Holiday Surf & Raquet Club. We have stayed in several condos over the years. Unit 204 was probably the nicest that we have had so far. Only two things I would recommend is while the unit was clean, it would be nice the units were deep cleaned once in a while. Also, it would be great if the renters had access to a broom or swiffer to keep the dirt and sand that accumulates at bay. Also, better quality toilet paper and paper towels would be nice. We look forward to returning as soon as possible.

All guests should have access to a broom and mop and if for some reason it's not found in the unit the front desk should be contacted for immediate assistance. The place was right off the ocean, with a short walk to the beach. The staff was very welcoming and professional. The beds were comfortable(even the sofa bed was awesome) I will definitely use it again in the future.

Perfect stay

This property is right on the beach and also close to board walk(short driving distance) Gated hotel is a plus. Has target and other close proximity restaurant or fast food. Loved the 2 chair and umbrella included in your room stay. The room is exactly as pictured and was perfect for what my family needed. This was our second stay and we will be back next year!

One of the best places I’ve stayed!

We came down to Destin for my bachelorette trip and we were not disappointed by the room. The listing is very accurate and the room was in a convenient place and it overall exceeded my expectations. I will say that the listing does say it sleeps 7 and that is with the pull out couch. My friends that slept on the pull out couch said it was pretty uncomfortable even for a pull out couch. However other than that, the place was spacious and we enjoyed it! I would definitely book this room again.

Lovely stay

The accommodations were awesome. Ie kitchen, bedroom? Bathroom etc. the deck was my favorite place to be when off the beach. Awesome view and lively high top table and chairs. The beds were comfortable. Very clean and up to date decor! Loved it!!! Will come back!

Location is great, beds are awful!

We stay at Holiday Surf & Racquet Club yearly but this is our first time in this condo. The bed situation was terrible. While they say it sleeps 7 with the pull out sofa, it is not fit for a dog. The sofa mattress was so thin you could feel the springs and bars of the sofa. And there were not adequate blankets so we had to go purchase some at a store. Otherwise the location was great and the beach was awesome!

Only issue is the way they have changed the beach chair process. Need to make it an easier experience for families and groups of families. First time to Destin was a splash!

Our family of 5 (including 2 adults, 2 kids, & an elder) booked a condo (room 204) at the Holiday Surf & Racquet Club as a last minute getaway in mid-late Oct. We were a little nervous about booking due to Covid. Mask wearing was optional in Destin, so we had to adjust to that - but, overall we had a great stay! The room was true to the photos and decorated nicely. We had no issues with the accommodations, nor staff - everyone from the front desk to the laundry exchange attendants were very nice. (There is no washer/dryer in the unit, but a laundry mat is on hotel premises if needed, & they allow you to swap out bed linens & bath towels on certain days of the week.) Our room was perfect for our family’s needs. My husband & I roomed in the master, our kids opted for the pullout in the living room (although not the most comfy in my opinion), and my MIL took the single bed in the 2nd bedroom. We actually had a whole queen bed that no one used. The 2nd floor balcony had a great view of the beach & ocean and we had no problems reserving our beach chairs/umbrella in the morning. The beach was great to walk along and collect beautiful shells, and the water was fairly cool. The ocean temp was cool, but generally not too cold to swim. The kids loved the gentle waves, but at some points the waves were a little high. We also enjoyed the pool which was a great size & very clean. As far as location, we were centrally located, no more than 5-15 minutes away from Target, restaurants, souvenir shops, and other fun family places. We were sure to bring our own beach towels, and groceries - including condiments & cooking oil. The room included bath towels/cloths, bed linens and cook/dish ware. There were a few fixtures/furniture pieces with normal wear & tear, but nothing that gave us a reason to be concerned. This trip went very smoothly & we would recommend to others!
