Topanga privé / Malibu Dream Home sur State Park avec une vue imprenable, piscine et spa

Notre maison est située dans la belle Topanga State Park dans les collines de Malibu sur une allée privée. Notre maison est bien entretenu, bien aménagé et très confortable. Notre maison a un étage plan ouvert, vraiment une vue imprenable, étonnants espaces de vie extérieurs, y compris cheminée, barbecue, piscine, jacuzzi, et une variété de zones de séance privée. Vraiment un d'une station genre comme la sensation, et à seulement 15 minutes de la plage et des restaurants et des commerces, et à 40 minutes de lieux comme le Hollywood Bowl, Universal Studios, et beaucoup plus. Notre maison a un accès direct (littéralement juste à l'arrière) à la randonnée pédestre et de vélo de montagne incroyables tout au long de Topanga State Park dans les montagnes de Santa Monica.

La maison dispose d'un salon avec cheminée, salle familiale, salle à manger, bureau (avec 2 postes de travail), 2 chambres à coucher complètes et salles de bains et une nouvelle marque et la reine très confortable canapé-lit (dans le salon avec cheminée). La maison dispose également d'un gourmet chefs cuisine, piscine et jacuzzi, foyer extérieur, barbecue, et de nombreux espaces extérieurs uniques. La maison est entièrement meublée avec tout le nécessaire pour rendre votre séjour agréable et confortable avec air / chauffage central, laveuse et sécheuse, Internet haute vitesse avec zonés Wi-Fi et télévision par satellite.

La chambre principale dispose d'un lit California King, 42 "TV HD à écran plat avec Direct TV, DVR, DVD et deux tables de nuit éclairées et une grande commode. La salle de bains principale comprend une douche, bain et dressing. Les points de vue du maître et salle de bains sont à couper le souffle. La chambre a un grand verre de 10 'porte coulissante, et la cour habitable est facilement accessible.

La 2ème chambre est sur le petit côté, mais il a un lit de taille et simple gigogne gigogne, avec commode et un placard.

La maison dispose également d'un bureau complet avec deux chaises, les imprimantes, etc., et des lieux pour connecter votre ordinateur à des moniteurs si vous souhaitez obtenir un peu de travail, ou tout simplement l'enregistrement.

La cuisine des chefs gastronomiques donne sur la piscine et l'état Topanga parc (comme le fait la plupart de la maison). Vous pouvez littéralement regarder cerfs broutent dans la prairie attenante tout en préparant un délicieux repas. La cuisine comprend haut de gamme Thermador appareils en acier inoxydable, y compris un grand réfrigérateur, cuisinière à gaz 6 brûleurs et four, lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, double cuivre "ferme" évier large et vin / boisson réfrigérateur. Vous pouvez profiter de vos repas à l'intérieur sur la table à manger 8-10 de personne, ou d'un salon extérieur en teck rustique 8 personne table à manger tout en profitant du coucher de soleil jouant à travers une vue imprenable sur les montagnes de Santa Monica. La cuisine a également de grandes surfaces personnalisées avec des sièges pour 4 personnes pour se détendre et bavarder pendant la cuisson, ou pour un petit déjeuner rapide avant de partir pour une randonnée, vélo, etc.

La chambre familiale dispose d'un grand canapé confortable avec 60 "HD TV à écran plat avec Direct TV, DVR, construit en son surround (et l'amplificateur prend en charge tout au long de haut-parleurs extérieurs), Wii et BlueRay lecteur DVD. Les vues de cette zone de la maison sont aussi incroyable, et avec Plantation Shutters facile de réduire la lumière pour regarder la télévision, si désiré. Le plan d'étage ouvert connecte de façon transparente cette salle à la cuisine, et très bon pour traîner.

Le plan d'étage ouvert comprend une salle de séjour, y compris un nouveau "shabby chic" confortable canapé de style, qui tire-facilement pour devenir un bon lit queen pour un roi et la reine. Cette chambre dispose également d'une cheminée à gaz, des sièges en gradins et de belles vues sur l'extérieur.

La maison est dans un quartier très calme et sûr. Les seuls sons que vous pouvez entendre dans la nuit sont les coyotes hurlent et hiboux hululer.

Gorgeous retreat in the mountains close to LA

For the month of July, we had the luck to stay at the “Santa Fé” designed beautiful home in the Santa Monica Mountains. The living spaces are wonderful with a chef’s kitchen and a fantastic terrace overlooking the mountains. The pool area and large deck with outdoor kitchen was our favorite. Malibu Beach is only 15 Minutes away. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Thank you!

Christmas in Topanga

Off the charts, 11 on a scale of 10. The views alone made it special but Peter and Rhonda have outfitted their home so thoroughly we lacked nothing. The decor is southwestern and professional and melds well with the surroundings. They met us on our arrival and spent an hour touring the property to make sure we knew how everything worked. A most gracious and accommodating host/hostess. The photos accurately display the property. I have used VRBO many times generally with good results…THIS WAS THE BEST. We prepared Christmas dinner and then the next day(with advance permission) had a dozen local adult family member's for brunch…. As smoothly as if at home. CANT SAY ENOUGH POSITIVE ABOUT THEIR CASA.

Pure Bliss

We have stayed in quite a few thousand-dollar-a-night villas, including Big Island, Maui, Turks & Caicos, Sedona, San Diego and BVI, to name a few. Casa Anton has leap-frogged to our top three. The first thing to mention is of course the view. To say it took our breadth away is actually an understatement. There's plenty of outdoor space, covered or otherwise, to enjoy that view. Wild life is in abundance. We had some pretty close up views of the falcons and a large grey owl. The inside is tastefully decorated. I am a kitchen kind of guy and this place does not disappoint at all, from high end appliances, e.g.Thermador, to professional cookware. Super clean, even the shelves in the fridge were lined. I can't comment on the entertainment system because we did not watch any, but it appears to have everything. Inside and outside speaker systems are nice touches. The remote for the pool and hot tub is very easy to use. Peter's numerous suggestions re activities and restaurants were spot on. Absolutely love this place.

Something Special

I really lucked out finding this gem. Tucked away in a secluded cul de sac at the top of Topanga Canyon, this home has unobstructed and dramatic views of the protected canyon and hills beyond. For sure the best views in the neighborhood. It’s easy to spend hours just watchingthe sun play across the landscape. The home itself is clean, updated and decorated with love and taste. It is perfectly oriented to ensure privacy and capture the magical view. Easy and lovely 15 minute drive down the canyon to Malibu or down the other side of the hill to the Valley. With way you win being surrounded by nature just a stones through to the best the area has to offer. Owners are genuine and fantastic people. Highly recommend.

Near everything, yet far away from everyone

We love the southwestern flair of this getaway that has roomy spaces designed for comfort. The outdoor patio is well arranged to take full advantage of the view with seating options for whatever mood you're in. It is near all the local amenities, yet tucked away on a private cul de sac. Lots of hiking options without having to get in a car. Plus, the hosts are very responsive and helpful.

Topanga Canyon

All positive things to say about the house. The listing is quite accurate in details and pictures of the home. It's comfortably furnished and quite roomy for a 3 bed/2 bath house. The high point of the property though is the large outdoor patio and swimming pool area which have exceptional views of the canyons. Even though the home is on a cul-de-sac with neighboring houses quite close, the views from outside look out onto nothing but nature. (Even our LA friends were impressed.) Our week-long stay went by without a hitch. The owners were pleasant and very helpful throughout the process. A good choice if you want a "country" feel that is still relatively close to much of West LA (Santa Monica, Malibu, Venice Beach, etc.)

All-Around Wonderful

A friend and I stayed at this stunning Topanga mountain home as we dropped our incoming freshmen off at college. We both attribute how fun, gorgeous and even spiritual it was to experience this big life transition in a home such as Peter and Rhonda’s, who could not have been more warm, welcoming or responsive. The outdoor area has multiple nooks and comfortable seating areas in which to watch the stars, sunrises and mountains. The interior and kitchen is perfectly equipped for any manner of cooking. We all hope to return and are so grateful for the experience.

A Californian Dream

I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about this property and hosts. The photos, which themselves are stunning, don't do justice to the beautiful property and location, overlooking Summit Valley, private and secluded, yet so easily accessible to greater Los Angeles and Orange County, Santa Monica and Malibu, and the Pacific Coast. The house was incredibly welcoming, clean, and superbly equipped, and absolutely everything needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay, with the outside space a particular highlight. Great Vacation Home with Stunning View

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The homeowners were warm, welcoming, and wanted us to enjoy their beautiful home. The house was a perfect size for our family. The kitchen was well appointed for a foodie and we prepared several meals there. The home is very clean and nicely decorated. Perhaps the best part of the property is the unobstructed view of the stunning canyon that was in Spring bloom. We really felt away from it all, yet still close to downtown LA and Malibu. We'll have great memories of winding down the day in the hot tub, chatting, and taking in the breathtaking views. This trip restored us and we left feeling relaxed.

Absolutely incredible

This place is even more stunning than the photos! The view is spectacular with great connection to nature but all the amenities of a luxury hotel. The pool and spa are perfect for a small family vacation with lots of seating outdoors. We enjoyed how homey the house felt and wanted for nothing during our stay. Plenty of paper products, thoughtful things such as beach towels and board games, and a well stocked kitchen made it so convenient to live and play. Beds were comfortable and the house was a quick drive to restaurants and shops. We were impressed by the owners and their communication as well as welcoming attitude from the onset of the trip. Would love to stay here again and again!

Topanga Treasure

Peter and Rhonda's beautiful perch atop Topanga Canyon is a "best of both worlds" experience: a front yard connected to all the suburban conveniences and a backyard totally wild and expansive. In-between the two worlds, the house interior is gorgeously decorated in Moroccan and Mexican adobe style. The house is also convenient to Topanga's cool vibe. We enjoyed being able to step outside and explore endless trails that only multiplied with possibilities the longer we stayed. Add to these features the peace of birdsong, pool, spa, sunrise vistas, and the reliable sunny summer weather in February...and our return future stay is all but booked!

Stunning, one of a kind home in Topanga Canyon!

Casa de Anton exceeded our expectations in every way. Peter and Rhonda’s beautiful Santa Fe-style home is gorgeous, comfortable, and ideally located. The view over Topanga Canyon and the Santa Monica mountains is extraordinary, but it’s a 6-minute drive to Woodland Hills and an easy drive to Malibu, Santa Monica, the Getty Museum, Downtown LA, and easy access up the coast to Santa Barbara. The hot tub and pool have beautiful views. Topanga State Park is at the foot of the driveway, and the kitchen is stocked with every implement and appliance you need for cooking and baking. Peter and Rhonda are exceptional hosts who are expert communicators and planners. Their guest guide is the best we have ever received for a home rental or VRBO stay. We hope to come back.

AMAZING!

This property is even more beautiful than the photos show. The view and entire outdoor area feels like your own personal resort. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need and more and feels truly like a home away from home. Peter and Rhonda are some of the kindest and most genuine people we have met and they only added to the magic of this experience. I can’t say enough about how amazing this house, view, town, and owners are and how it all made this one of the best family vacations we have ever had!

I can't speak more highly of Peter & Rhonda's place but also their communication and effort to ensure we had an amazing vacation at their place. The views were fantastic, the pool was great and the kitchen was perfect for any serious family chefs! This home was very comfortable with great outdoor living space Hiking trails basically in the back yard. We loved our morning walks and afternoons by the pool. If you like to cook you can enjoy the outside grill and the kitchen is so well equipped.Peter,our host was most accommodating and pleasant.

Better than my high expectations!

Based on the pictures, I had very high expectations for this house, and it was even better in person. We were visiting my best friend and her family, who live in LA. We aren't big city people, so we were looking for some privacy and space. This place was perfect. The location is amazing. Not only is it pretty and private, but it also is not that bad of a drive to Hollywood, Malibu, hiking to the MASH set, wine tasting in Santa Barbra, to name a few spots. We would often hike/go to the beach in the morning and then spend time relaxing by the pool in the afternoon. The view is amazing, but the house itself is impressive. There are gorgeous hand-painted tiles all over the Spanish-style house. All around, a lovely house with a beautiful location and views that your camera can't really capture. This is a place you have to experience for yourself because pictures don't do it justice. The check-in and check-out process was seamless. I would definitely rent this place again.

Wonderful Topanga Getaway

Wonderful stay at Topanga canyon. Beautiful home with all the amenities. Outdoors we enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the many places to lounge and relax on the large patio. The outdoor dining and cooking area was great. Hiking trails are literally a 2 minute walk away. Indoors we enjoyed a large comfortable family room and a well stocked kitchen. We ended up eating at "home" quite a bit. Communication with owner was excellent and the check in was easy and pleasant. Location was very convenient for us and close to the beach and the Valley. We all had a great stay including 3 teenagers who absolutely loved it. 5 stars all around.

Absolutely Beautiful!

We recently stayed for a week over the holidays at this amazing home. The house is gorgeous, the views of the sunrise and canyons unbelievable! This house has everything you need to be truly a home away from home. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Stunning!!!!

What can one say about a place so perfect and beautiful as Casa De Anton. We have been vacationing in Malibu California every year for the past 15 years as a family member lived there and it always felt like home. Recently they had moved away and we were not sure if we would ever return. When we ask our kids where would they like to go on vacation this year, to our surprise they both said California. After many hours searching for rental homes on the internet, my wife came across Casa De Anton and right away we just knew that this home was for us. My wife contacted Rhonda and Peter thru the site and they answered straight away. Upon arriving to the house, Rhonda, Peter and Sue greeted us with open arms. They showed us the house, talked about places of interest and then left us to soak it all in. Prior to our arrival they had asked us if we would like to keep Luna, their dog, during our stay and we happily accepted. Luna is a amazing dog with a wonderful nature and just made the place feel more like home. The pictures on VRBO are beautiful, but when you get there it really becomes a magical place. The house is clean and very well maintained with lots of beautiful detail through out. We went on many excursions, Santa Monica, Santa Monica Pier, Zuma Beach, ATV trail riding, drive along the coast, 3rd street Promenade Mall, shopping in Malibu and the small shops in Topanaga Canyon, but no matter where we went, returning to Casa De Anton truly felt like home. I would, without hesitation, strongly recommend this home to anyone looking for the most magical place to spend their vacation. Thanks to Rhonda, Peter, Slater and Luna for sharing they home with us and we look forward to the day we return.

Quiet, peaceful home with beautiful mountain views, amazing hiking & biking trails out the door.

My family & I spent a week at Casa De Anton & we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The mountain views are breath taking, the quietness is peaceful, a wonderful place to sit back & relax. We all thoroughly enjoyed the salt water pool, it was amazing to be able to swim or sit in the hot tub & look out at hawks & listen to owls & Coyotes, what a special place. The house itself was very clean & comfortable & well appointed with the owners art & beautiful taste, which adds to the calmness & beauty of this cozy home. Thank you Luna, Slater, Sue, Bob, Rhonda & Peter for the wonderful hospitality, we are already looking forward to our return and cherish the new friendships we have made.

More than you can imagine!!

Thank you so much for the time in your house. My family and me, we were really impressed. The house itself, with the amazing environment, the pool and yacuzzi and also the view is beautiful beyond any description. We are from Southern California, and love the active lifestyle. From surfing and kitesurfing, to skiing and snowboarding to hiking and mountain biking we love the outdoors and enjoy every second. We truly enjoy traveling to new destinations and fortunate to have visited many places and explore other cultures. We are foodies and love to cook, and explore new recipes. However, there is no place like home and we feel blessed each time we return to our dream home paradise in Topanga Canyon.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We always wanted to live in Topanga. We both grew up in surrounding areas, and know how magical this location is. When we found our property we knew it was a special place, and built our dream home. We've never experienced a home setting with such expansive canyon views capturing incredible sunrises, sunsets, moonrises and all kinds of bird-life viewing throughout each day including –– hawks, kestrels, falcons, owls, poorwills, quail, hummingbirds, songbirds and many more. We love watching the deer graze in the meadow below and listening to owls hooting and occasional coyotes howling at night. We also enjoy the sheer peacefulness of the property and the surrounding canyon.

Perhaps most astonishing is that we are so close to everything a large cosmopolitan city has to offer (downtown LA, Santa Monica, Hollywood Bowl, Beaches, etc. etc.), but it feels like you are in another world, far, far away. You experience the best of both worlds.

We wake up everyday feeling blessed we live here, and were able to bring up our son in such a magical environment. We built our home to capture all of the elements and it brings us joy to share our slice of heaven with others.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Topanga Canyon is a unique small community nestled between Pacific Palisades and Malibu. The canyon has a colorful history including the 60's/70's music scene, and home to a variety of artists and artisans. Amazingly Topanga has kept the charm of a small town feel amongst the backdrop of one of the largest cities in the US. The canyon has a variety of unique shops, restaurants and coffee shops adding to the unique charm of this lovely community. It is a very friendly town. People truly care about each other and the environment.

Casa De Anton captures the essence of the canyon. We built the home to include all of the modern conveniences while also being very warm, welcoming and comfortable. The home has spanish and moroccan influences throughout with unique tiles and subtle lighting providing a peaceful atmosphere to relax and unwind. The outdoor living space is simply incredible year round, and quiet as can be. There are so many special spots on the property, it simply depends on the time of day as to which you'll love most. One of our favorite spots is the jacuzzi, which has a commanding view of the canyon. Perhaps our favorite is a round chaise sunken down in a unique viewing area at the bottom left of our property. It faces South East, so watching the full moon rise in the early evening is quite special from this spot. On occasion you can actually see coyotes down below our fence line howling in the moonlight. Pure magic.
