Very much liked the apartment, good layout, well stocked kitchen, brand new bathroom, quiet location. Useful to have garage underneath. Host very responsive and helpful. All good, no complaints.
Spacious accommodation with everything we needed for a great stay. Apartment was comfortable and cosy with great views of the mountain. Near to ski hire and chair lift and the local pub was friendly with great nibbles.
Tina was a great host and communication was good. She met us at the apartment and showed us where everything in the village was- even driving us up to the supermarket and then taking our shopping home for us. She even unpacked shopping and put the beer in the fridge. Excellent service đ
Would definitely recommend for a fabulous ski holiday đđ»â·ïž
A cosy appartement to stay during skiing. You can leave your gear downstairs. There is enough space for 4 pairs of skiâs. We had 3 pairs of skiâs and 4 snowboards, therefor it was a bit tiny. The kitchen was great and so was the bathroom. There was enough hot water for 4x shower, but maybe Tina can arrange something in this. The skiĂ«rs did not really enjoy the walk to the skilift (7/8 minutes) but you can also use the parkingplace near the lift.We did not particually liked the beds in the appartement, but maybe weâre just getting old and that is why our backs acked. The bed in the livingroom only suites for children to sleep on.In short: perfect appartement for 4. With 6 we also enjoyed our stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at Tinaâs apartment.
The apartment was very well equipped & clean. Beds were very comfortable.
The bathroom could have done with a shower curtain above the bath though. Word of warning donât turn the switches (which look like light switches)outside the bathroom off as they enable hot water. Also the toilet seat was a little loose.
Tina was a fantastic host, very welcome if & gave lots of information about buses etc. she very kindly took us to the supermarket to do our initial shop & showed us around the village, including showing a lovely restaurant.
The village of Jouvenceau is below Sauze, it is very small and no apres ski or shop. You have to walk up a very steep hill to Sauze to get to shops or get the bus which is âŹ8.50 for weekly pass.
The chair lift is 7 mins walk away but is quite quiet so no queuing.
We really enjoyed our stay and thought Tina was a good help. The only thing that spoilt it a bit is the shutters are very noisy and rattle in strong wind. We had very strong winds at times during our stay. Tina requested that when we were out we shut the shutters to the master bedroom which we did. However we didnât shut them at night as it was lovely to wake up to the mountain view. In the middle of one night a storm started and it was hard to shut the shutters, the pin/hinge bent slightly at this time. The design of the shutters was poor and it was clear that several repairs had been done to the left hand one. Tina seemed very displeased with the fact the shutters had been damaged. My husband lifted it off for her and it looks like it would have been easy to fix as it had been done previously.
Other than the shutter issues we had a lovely stay & think Tina is a good host.
