Le Hula Hut est vraiment beaucoup plus qu'une cabane. Il est un organisme privé, 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain situé exactement 1-mile au sud de la ville de Kailua-Kona. Décoré dans un environnement amusant, décontracté, funkiness île de style, cette maison peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 6 personnes dans un style de vie tropical. Il est une promenade facile à la ville où vous pourrez profiter de votre café du matin ou un cocktail coucher de soleil au Huggo de sur les rochers ou faire du shopping au marché de l'agriculteur en plein air au centre-ville de Kona.

Profitez des couchers de soleil spectaculaires ou explorer les nombreuses cuvettes sur le palier du plateau de lave à la fin de notre rue privée. Bateaux de plongée commerciaux sont souvent repérés ici, la rumeur veut que certains des meilleurs sites de plongée de l'île se trouve ici! Détendez-vous par votre propre piscine privée et nager avec les tortues! Profitez de la vue sur l'océan tout en flânant sur la grande véranda, refroidi par les brises de commerce.

La maison est située sur un seul niveau, dispose de 3 chambres, chacune avec un lit queen-size et de la climatisation, et un futon en taille réelle sur la véranda expansive wrap-around (complet avec une belle vue sur l'océan!,) 2 salles de bains, chacune avec une baignoire-douche. Planchers de bois franc et des ventilateurs de plafond dans les espaces de vie communs. High Speed ​​de l'accès à Internet sans fil. Cuisine, des draps fournis entièrement équipée. Everything was great. The house was clean, well appointed for our nights in. It was just what we needed for our trip to the Big Island, central to everything we wanted to do. Communication was great as well, even for some last minute changes to our trip plans. We will hopefully visit again!

We had such a wonderful stay and loved the hulahut. Close to downtown and other amenities in Kona. We loved the yard area and space. Was a great place to relax and watching the sunsets at the end of the street. Mahalo!

HulaHut Delivers

Great location and great set up. Our family had a great time staying in Kona and at the HulaHut. An easy walk to a black sands beach where you can watch the sunrise and sunsets, or walk to downtown for drinks and food. The host was easy to talk to and responded timely. Definitely would stay here again.

Wonderful house in Hawaii

Owners are wonderful to work with. House is very nice with everything you need is all ready there. Cool breeze during the day blowing through the open windows and window ac units in bedroom at night. Great location. Nice clean pool!!! You couldn't go wrong with this house ;) Aloha

Great location! Close to downtown. Beautiful views. Fun to see whales from back windows. Open floor plan. Comfortable beds. Road noise a little busy but we got used to it. Great kitchen. Super fun to walk down lane to ocean's edge to see sunsets. Would come back again.

Perfect Place to Stay

We absolutely loved Jill's home! We had an ocean view, loved the pool, the beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked. And the land next door with goats on it (lots of baby goats!), just made it all that much better! :) It was a beautiful, comfortable home, in the perfect area. Jill was super kind and was quick to respond to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this place and rent it again when we come back to Kailua Kona. I'm already missing waking up to the gorgeous ocean view and pretty sunsets right from the kitchen table!

Fantastic house for IM week with kids!

I stayed here with my family for IM race week and it was the most amazing perfect homebase especially with three younger kids (ages 6,6, and 11). It is a great location close to town and right on the run course. The pool was a hit with the kids and so great to have, they all had fun playing in it for hours a day. They also loved running down the street to the lava rock beach at the end of the lane to watch the sunsets and the sunset views were also spectacular from the house. The house is a fun boho vibe and very homey feeling. Communications with Jill were easy and she was very responsive. It's a beautiful property. I would definitely stay here again!

Hawaii vaca at Hula Hut

We (3 siblings + spouses) thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house had everything we needed plus more. We especially enjoyed the pool, loung chairs, tables with umbrellas and lovely landscaping as well as watching the sunset from the end of our private road, or from the many windows from the house. The location was convenient but the road was busy and noisy if the air conditioners/fans weren't running in the bedrooms. One of the air conditioner fans wasn't working properly the 1st night and Jill was wonderful at getting it replaced within hours!

NIce Home with great location! Responsive owners

The house was as advertized. Great location close to town and close to beautiful blue waters of the Pacific. We were able watch the 4th of July fireworks from the beach access right down the street. The home was very comfortable and spacious. The a/c boxes in the bedrooms were certainly needed at this time of year so we were glad the house had them. The pool was well maintained and was a nice place to relax. The owner responded very quickly to couple small concerns we had which was great. We fell in love with the Big Island! It's such a wonderful place with so much to see and do. We can't wait to get back! We would recommend the Hula Hut for a great spot close to the center of Kona. We are Homeaway/VRBO owners ourselves and expect a certain amount of amenities and the Hula Hut delivered. Thanks Becky!!!!

Kona beach house w/great pool and prime location

Hula Hut surpassed our expectations -- the main room that has very large kitchen/dining/sitting area/LR etc. is huge! the pictures on the website don't do it justice. I was so pleased to have such a nice open area with windows all around. We cooked some of our meals and found everything we needed in the well-equipped kitchen, including some good spices up in the cabinet. We did not use the large barbecue but used the very handy small hibachi grill to make some of our meals. The pool is great with several umbrellas you can setup for extra shade, and we really enjoyed the privacy of the pool area. We also used the beach chairs for some of our excursions so that was nice. For sleeping, using the A/C in the bedrooms kept things super quiet for really good sleep. Going down to the end of the street for sunset was also very enjoyable in the evening. I highly recommend this Kona house for your next trip there.

Lovely Home

This home is really nice; great view and kitchen literally has everything you would ever want. The beds are so comfortable and I'm a princess and pea person. Check in and check out was simple. The home is very clean and updated throughout. Jill was great. We had a tropical storm warning during our stay and she texted us with support. it was nothing on our side and very minimal on the Hilo side. Only one con if you are sensitive and want quiet. The home is right on Ali'i Drive. This is a main thoroughfare through Kona. The traffic is quite loud. If you have a lively family, you probably won't care. It is close to everything in Kona so that's the positive side. It may have been busier than usual during our stay, I don't know. Overall, we were very satisfied during our two weeks vacation. Underpriced, well maintained, great location

This house was a surprise. The pics make it look a little older than it is. We expected a rental with older furniture and facilities. We found a well-loved and very well-maintained home, with new air conditioners and the cleanest pool we've ever used that required no heating and therefore no extra fees. Every evening we walked to see the sunset at the end of the street. Communication with the property manager was excellent. Finally, if you're doing any island tours, all the operators know the Royal Wyndham resort right next door, so pick-up and drop-offs are also very easy. There are a few things to bear in mind: it's near a main road, which can be noisy. The house is well situated so the noise was not a big deal & we quickly acclimatized. The fruit is seasonal (of course) so don't expect to have a crate of free mangos the year round. You will have to sign a separate (and pretty straightforward) agreement directly with the owners, which I dislike but who knows what kind of issues they've had in the past? Strangely, the entire house is very well stocked, with spices, hand soaps, detergents, etc. but you must bring your own shampoo and shower gel. And you have to do a bit of cleaning when you leave. All of this is no bother as while the house felt priced appropriately going by the listing only, on arrival we felt we got a bargain and would happily stay again even if the rate went up a little. Definitely will check this place out on our next trip to the Big Island.

The property is exactly as described. I personally didn’t read about no central AC or pool heat. Having said that, for me, the house could use an AC unit in the main room. It was very cute and clean. Jill was prompt in answering question. Perfect for our family.

IM Kona Bucket List

This house was an amazing home-away-from-home for my family and friends. We wanted a place to serve as our home base for my husband’s Ironman Kona dream come true and the Hula Hut fit the bill. The Hula Hut is incredibly comfortable and spacious enough for my family staying there and friends who were with us on race day. The house has everything you could possibly want, including every kitchen appliance and a spice cabinet to rival most homes. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention how comfortable the beds are! I even made note of the manufacturer for future reference. The pool was a wonderful place to lounge and rest. And just down the private drive were gorgeous sunsets. Our host, Jill was very helpful and responded so quickly to any questions we had, including a request to check in early for my husband who was dragging around a bike and a bunch of other equipment. I know we would love another stay at the Hula Hut!

So much fun (and goats, too!)!!

First of all, this house is owned by the best people! Incredible communication, thorough instructions, and totally approachable about everything. Thank you, Jill! The house is adorable and fully loaded for your personal enjoyment. Yes, it's on Alii Drive, but the A/C in the bedroom covers all street noise while sleeping. There are fans available, too, if you're not using the A/C. I'm a light sleeper and I slept like the dead! The kitchen is FULLY stocked, and the house is extremely comfortable and perfect for everyone to stretch out and enjoy themselves. The pool was our favorite part. I'm a sucker for a good pool, and this one delivers! There is plenty of. seating for all, and during the late afternoon when it's hot out, the pool gets shaded by the beautiful hibiscus and other foliage. But I gotta say, the goats that visited us for a couple of days next door were pretty fun. They were only there for a few days (it's a big open lot next door and they help manage the plant growth), but they were very entertaining, as were the two nice dogs who watched over them. Rent this house. You'll love it. Thank you!!!

Getaway with friends

The only issue we have encountered with our stay was at the beginning when we were having a difficult time opening the door with the digital lock. I was able to got hold of Jill and she gave me a new lock combination. Otherwise, the location and cleanliness is superb. My husband, friends and I cannot complain of anything else. We were able to walk by the ocean and watch the sunset, take beautiful photos, and walk to the marketplace. We were also comfortable and got to relax after a busy day exploring the island. I have rented homes and condos before and this was one of the best homes I have stayed. A spacious living area, big kitchen, bar area and three nice size bedrooms. We stayed with 3 adults and two kids and everyone always had space. The pool is perfect and there are more than enough chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and snorkeling gear. Seriously you need a couple outfits, bathing suit and toothbrush. The sunsets down at end of block are magical but you can see them from the house too. This place is wonderful and away from crowds. You can tell the owners take wonderful care of this gem. Any questions we had were promptly answered. We will undoubtedly be back!
