This villa is ideal for those both wanting to be central and to have a great villa for relaxing in. It is cleverly designed to have excellent spaces for each time of the day. Having both a pool and a hot tub was also a bonus.
Our only comment to improve the villa would be to include a few basic commodities on arrival - a bottle of water, some olive oil, a dishwasher tablet etc.
A perfect oasis tucked away in a beautiful town with a huge selection of restaurants to choose from. Loved everything about it. Just to note that the pool is very deep everywhere - luckily my kids are very competent swimmers, so it was fine for us.
We very much enjoyed our stay in Can Simone. The house and the garden were beautiful and very private. Although it is only a short walk to the centre of Pollensa it's location up a pathway behind the other houses in Carrer Alicante made it very secluded.
We loved relaxing in the jacuzzi and taking in the view across to Puig De Maria. It was great to stay in a townhouse which had a swimming pool large enough to swim in as opposed to a plunge pool.
For us the only downside were the very hard beds which we found rather uncomfortable - but not a problem if you prefer a hard mattress!
The inside of the house remains cool even when the outside temperature is quite hot - and the air conditioning is very efficient (although it would have been useful to have had more than one working remote control handset!).
Overall we felt this was an excellent holiday property and we will definitely return to it in the future.
Ca'n Simone was just perfect. A lovely house, very spacious and cool with good sized pool and beautiful outdoor terraces with views to the mountains. A 2 minute walk to the Calvari steps and Placa Major a little further, yet so peaceful. Excellent air-con from 18.00 - 08.00, fabulous bathrooms, large comfortable beds and lots of storage space. We loved old town Pollenca, great restaurants and the market on Sunday morning is a must. 10-15 mins drive to Puerto Pollenca, quite nice coastal resort but nowhere near as beautiful as the old town. We headed a little further along the coast to C'an Picafort where there is a beautiful beach, perfect for little ones - no rocks and very shallow sea. The owners are charming but discreet and when we had a problem with the fridge it was sorted out immediately. We were a little worried about lack of parking at the villa for the hire car but easy to park 1 min walk away. A fabulous villa in a wonderful part of the island, we would definitely return.
