Cette maison de plain-pied ensoleillée sur 2 étages avec vue sur l'océan est parfaite pour une escapade d'un week-end ou un congé sabbatique prolongé. La belle "vue sur l'océan", thérapeutique "spa de nage", et jardin bien entretenu avec gazebo, tous se réunissent pour vous offrir l'évasion parfaite. Notre plage locale est à 0,12 kilomètre et vous trouverez de nombreuses attractions locales et des restaurants raffinés à proximité.

Les ponts supérieurs et inférieurs sont parfaits pour se divertir, BBQing, ou en regardant le coucher de soleil. Le jardin à l'arrière, avec ses belles plantations, et gazebo, sont un refuge parfait pour le café du matin ou le thé.

NIVEAU SUPÉRIEUR COMPREND:
Le salon principal est un espace ouvert avec un plafond cathédrale avec poutres apparentes et un magnifique parquet en chêne blanc massif raclé à la main. Il existe un téléviseur HD 4K de 52 pouces, avec téléviseur / enregistreur numérique Xfinity, un lecteur Blue Ray Disk et une barre de son Bluetooth pour diffuser vos applications de musique.

Chauffage central à air pulsé, garde la maison bien au chaud en hiver.

Le GOURMET cuisine moderne est équipée avec tous les appareils Viking et lave-vaisselle. Tous les ustensiles de cuisine, ustensiles de cuisine, vaisselle, argenterie et sont fournis. La table de la salle de la zone est extensible à 4 places - 8 personnes.

Le pont supérieur a des chaises de patio pour 6 personnes et une table de cocktail. Le barbecue est au gaz propane.

La chambre principale, qui est à l'étage supérieur, dispose d'un lit queen, walk-in, une commode, et un coin salon, d'un coin lavabo et salle de bain complète, avec baignoire et douche combo.

ESCALIER BAS - "ATTENTION", il y a des escaliers menant de la salle de séjour à l'étage inférieur. Si vous avez des petits enfants, il est suggéré que vous apportez votre propre barrière / porte, comme il n'y en a pas fourni.

Niveau inférieur comprend:
Chambres 2 et 3, et une salle de bain complète, avec baignoire et douche combo sont à l'étage inférieur.

Chambre 2 a un lit queen, un placard en miroir complète, commode, et une belle vue sur le jardin, et un HDTV 24 "LCD, avec Amazon feu bâton.

La chambre 3 comprend un grand canapé-lit pliant et un lit double "gigogne", un espace bureau / bureau avec accès Internet filaire, une imprimante et un téléviseur SAMSUNG SMART 32 ', Hulu, Netflix, Youtube et Amazon prêt.

Accès au pont inférieur, un jardin et spa de nage sont sur le niveau inférieur, à travers la chambre 3.

AVERTISSEMENT: CAMÉRAS DE SÉCURITÉ - Pour votre sécurité et celle de notre propriété, des caméras de sécurité sont situées à l'extérieur SEULEMENT. Deux caméras sont situées à l'avant de la maison, face à l'entrée et à l'entrée de la porte. Une caméra est sur le pont inférieur, concentrée UNIQUEMENT sur la porte coulissante en verre et l’entrée du portail. Ces caméras sont FIXES et ne peuvent pas être déplacées. Excellent rental - home from home!

Just as nice as can be

All I can say is that this place is beautiful in every way. Very clean and comfortable, very nicely decorated, nice view and amazing back garden and swim hot tub. I can't think of any way it could possibly be any better, Michael's figured out everything perfectly. It is an absolute honor to have stayed there.

Great vacation getaway

The rental is amazing. All the great amenities in rental and then some. Great ocean view. Centrally located so you are just a couple of miles from Capitola and Santa Cruz. Sea Cliff beach is beautiful. The communication with the owner was great. He made everything so easy and welcoming. We will definitely be returning for another vacation stay.

Very well stocked and comfortable

This house was a great base from which to explore. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with both pantry items, condiments and small appliances. The owner’s directions were very clear, and the swim spa (think Michael Phelps) was pretty fun. (I wish I’d brought a kick board!)

Very comfortable and relaxing!

If there's such a thing as a 'Hosting Award', Michael Taravella should get one! His attention to detail in the description of his property gets even better before, during and after your stay. He is such a delight and so considerate to take the time to chat by phone before we arrived and made it easy to understand all aspects of the house. The house is so immaculate and set up like a 5-star resort where you can enjoy top of the line cooking appliances, utensils, bedding. etc. The location is great; easy getting to Santa Cruz, Capitola, etc. Thank you, Michael, for being so kind and communitive. As expected

We got immediate confirmation, checkin was a breeze, owner responsive with questions. House was clean, location was 20 min walk to the local beach. The hot tub was great. Romantic and relaxing getaway

Beautiful house in Aptos with great deck, large hot tub, and inviting garden. Easy access to beach and redwoods. Michael was wonderful to work with, and very reassuring to rent from during COVID. We had to stay inside the last day due to smoke from nearby fires, and felt lucky to have such a lovely shelter. Could easily have accommodated a other couple or our college age children, but appreciated the time to ourselves. Highly recommended.

Hillside Sanctuary is Accurate!

This rental couldn't have been better! I would highly recommend staying here due to the rental cleanliness, comfortable layout, prime location, great owner customer service, and resources available such as labeled cabinets, detailed instructions, huge therapeutic spa, and high grade kitchen supplies. I will definitely be looking into this rental the next time I am in the Santa Cruz area. Thank you, Michael and Hing for the great rental experience!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. It was very clean, organized and so comfortable for our family. We were able to find everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked with every appliance, dish, glass, piece of cookware and utensil we could ever need. The garden and grounds were beautiful and provided a place to relax outside. The house is conveniently located near a nice grocery store and CVS pharmacy. It’s also a quick drive to Hwy 1. Thank you to the owner, Michael, for clear communication and being so responsive prior, during and after our trip.

Very comfortable for 5 adults

Our family of five adults stayed 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The house was very attractive and comfortable, with lots of amenities and had the best stocked kitchen of any place we've ever stayed. The walk to the beach was about 15 minutes, and if you have a lot to carry and don't want to walk as much, you can usually park easily near beach entrances on either end of Via Palo Alto. Communications with Michael were prompt and helpful. Everything was very much as described. Thanks for a great visit.

Awesome Place

We were very impressed on how well the property is maintained. Awesome kitchen great appliances plenty of utensils. Swim spa was extremely clean and functioned like it should. I have stayed at many rentals and sometimes the pictures and reviews don’t match. The clubhouse dr. House was top shelf. Super clean. great location, well appointed, great hot tub

6 friends stayed the last 3 nights. Everything was better than we expected - except: the bed in the 3rd bedroom(office) is a twin and very hard. We think the property would be better for 4 or the owner get a better hide-a-bed. Otherwise we recommend the property enthusiastically. Easy access from the highway; quiet neighborhood; supermarket nearby; wireless excellent; great hot tub; kitchen elaborately stocked; tv and sound system excellent. We would come back anytime with a better bed.

Very Comfortable/Well Appointed

We've been staying in VRBOs for 20+ years. This house stands out as one that was exceptionally clean and very well appointed. The kitchen has labels on everything so you know where to find what you're looking for and where to return it so that the guests after you have the same ease of use. An added bonus: the pantry and fridge were stocked with more than the bare minimum. I had forgotten dessert and my daughter was craving chocolate. There was hot cocoa to be found, which hit the spot! Thank you for those added touches!

Perfect home for our family!

We had such a wonderful time in Aptos staying in this lovely home. When you pull in to the drive you instantly feel welcome from the all the lush landscaping and potted flowering plants. And once inside, the vaulted ceiling in the living room, open kitchen and dining and the sunny deck all make for such a hospitable first impression. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the implements you need to cook for your family while on vacation...plenty of pots, pans, gadgets and small appliances. The owner keeps his home immaculately clean, and the breeze from the ocean kept the house nice and cool even on a warm afternoon. The homeowner made sure we knew how everything worked and where it was located, and he even thoughtfully called on checkout day to make sure we knew there was an accident on Hwy 17 (our route back to San Francisco) so we could plan an alternate route. Would definitely stay here on our next trip to Aptos!

Too many house rules without flexibility and a/c only in high ceiling room; house was way too hot

Potential for enjoyment with location, garden and well stocked kitchen; but owner identified problem with very little proof (he said lots of fresh blood on bedding but showed photo with only few streaks of dry blood. We hadn't seen it when stripping bed and contested; also accused us of sand in hot tub and not showering before hot tub when we all had; he kept part of deposit anyway. Finally, price for weekend was higher than price on website when I booked it. Very disappointed in how we were treated.

Wonderful house with remarkable gardens

The house size was just right for two families with one child each. The very mature apple tree we could easily access from the deck was fun. The swim spa was a necessity for keeping the kids happy, especially when the weather was cold and overcast like it was when we were there. The owner was responsive when I contacted him with questions and concerns. He was friendly and seemed eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The beds were comfortable. We could not see the ocean from the house at any point in our stay because it was so overcast. We had to get in a car to go to any beach. Our activities while staying in the house were 3 days of Santa Cruz beach Boardwalk (a pleasant 20 minute drive) and 2 days of beach (one in Aptos and the other in Capitola). We did the same trip last summer and stayed in a house that was 1.5k more to rent for the same period. That house was in Santa Cruz across the street from a beach. Trade offs. Overall, we were pleased with this property and would stay again.

AMAZING house and neighborhood! We LOVED everything about our stay and will be back!

This home was amazing! I chose it because of its great reviews and it’s swim spa. When we got to the house we were delighted to see how clean and well kept the home was. It was so clean and bright. We loved having the 2 downstairs bedrooms for the kids. They could have their own space and upstairs was so quiet. The owners thought of everything their guests would need and we felt so comfortable. We walked the lovely neighborhood at night and the neighbors were all so kind. The back yard is gorgeous and you truly felt like you were in a sanctuary. We all enjoyed watching the hummingbirds get their juice and flutter around all day. The upper deck has a beautiful view and we hung out there quite a bit in the evening. It didn’t not matter than it rained the first night, the swim spa was perfect and the stars were beautiful. We have stayed in Aptos many times and different vrbo’s But this house takes the cake for our family. Thank you so much Michael for sharing your lovely gem of a home and allowing us to make such wonderful memories there. We will be back!! ☺️ Michael, your communication with us was also so great, you texted us to let us know they the house was ready at 11:00 am instead of the normal 3:00 pm check in time and we were thrilled.

A Gem!

Michael's home was just as described and the location was perfect for our little family getaway! He has a spectacular view from the moment you step into his home and the place was spotless! His kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking, including oils, spices, etc. He even has foil, Ziploc baggies, and all those extras that other properties sometimes lack. His appliances are top of the line, too! We enjoyed opening up the sliding glass door in the dining/living room area, to enjoy the nice breeze. The showers had wonderful pressure, the furniture and beds were all comfortable, and having the swim spa was such an added bonus! Michael is a man after my own heart, with having everything labeled and clearly organized to make it easy to know where things are located and how he would like things left when it was time to check-out. He truly cares about his home and wants his guests to care also, which is admirable. Talking with him on the phone was pleasant and he was so informative about a very lovely beach that was just down the hill from his home. My sister, kids, and I had the most wonderful beach day at this beach and it seriously only took us 3 minutes to get there in our car from his driveway! We would definitely stay at Michael's lovely home again!
