We enjoyed staying for a week at this property. The location was great, with easy access to the Kingâs and Queenâs Shops, which had a good mixture of restaurants, stores, and a food market. The property was spacious and we loved the lanai, which overlooked a golf course. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything needed to make meals. The beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels provided were used frequently. We would stay here again.
This place has a nice, large balcony, and a great view of the mountains and golf course. The property is well equipped in the kitchen, with sufficient towels, and even shampoo (which is not always the case) and some herbs in the kitchen (again, so convenient and so rare). Everything looked like the pictures, no surprises.I would book it again.
We were enjoying the condo, but noticed the AC was not working. After an attempt to fix it, the property managers upgraded us to a house. We were very appreciative they moved us to a new and better accommodation. The rest of our trip was wonderful. Great service for an issue that was outside their control.
Condo was beautiful. Very comfortable and quiet. Swimming pool is the star of the show. Two hot tubs, one with a trickling waterfall. Lots of amenities close by. We would stay here again.
The location is exceptional and walking distance to restaurants, stores, beach and exercise. The condo is a nice space for 4 with a view of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. The complex is quiet and Wed stay here again.
My parents stayed at this property with my sister and her husband. The last 3-4 days of their stay, the AC stopped working and my parents were very uncomfortable in the property, especially at night. They reached out to the property owner/manager and found the owner/manager to be delayed in responding with the issue going unresolved before their departure. Their trip would have been great otherwise.
At first we were excited to see it was like the listing, however upon further inspection noticed some things that we couldnât get over. There was gecko feces all over the master bedroom and bathroom. The master bedroom window was broken in a way that there was a large gap that allowed critters in daily. I let management know and they put sticky traps around the window to kill the geckos (not my intention as we just wanted the window fixed). There were ants coming out of the shower/tub area of the master bath as well. Management sprayed twice during our stay. The bottom of the shower curtain was pink from bacteria. While the kitchen and living area were clean and wonderful, our problems were just the master bedroom/bathroom. The grounds were amazing during the daylight hours but imagine our surprise when going to the pool at dark and seeing no place to set your things due to plenty of cockroaches and giant ants. Again, management sprayed after we brought this to their attention. We didnât have any other options so we stayed but were very dissatisfied with the situation overall. This place needs some serious deep cleaning and the windows need to be fixed or replaced.
I feel like we had a somewhat undiscovered gem of a unit in the Vista Waikoloa complex. Why? When I look at a map, building G looks like it is far back on the property and thus potentially further from the beach, shopping, etc. But this is not true! Walk to the back of the condo unit, where the golf course is, and it is a super short walk to Kings' Shops as well as to A-Bay. With this convenience, coupled w/ the quiet back side of the building facing the serene golf course with unobstructed (and very private) views of Mauna Kea - it was perfect! Many of the other buildings that are supposedly better situated are actually close to a street, so your view (and noise) and not nearly as nice as ours was!
The condo was well equipped w/ kitchen supplies, extra bedding, beach towels and some beach gear like an umbrella and "noodles" for floating. We would have loved some boogie boards. We left behind a fishing pole for others to use. We never used the A/C - keeping all the doors open day and night with strategic use of shades was much more comfy. Overall - a great location and well tended condo.
Property looks exactly like pictures. Super quiet community. Neighborhood is absolutely beautiful. Rental unit was very spacious, very clean and well-maintained. The construction right outside our building was not audible from inside and wasnât at all a bother even outside, in case anyone was wondering. Property management was very prepared and detailed with providing key information prior to our arrival. The only set-back we experienced was that we couldnât get the TV to work, though we carefully followed the instructions several times. we couldnât help noticing was that most of the occupants we saw staying at the property were seniors (not a complaint by any means). We did run into a Karen at the pool, but that ended before it started. Overall
Lots of space and well appointed with everything needed for an extended vacation. Walking distance to shops and the beach. Quiet and nicely maintained.
