Un coin de paradis dans la campagne toscane, juste à l'extérieur de Lucca médiévale.

Villa Chiara est l'extrémité indépendante d'une "casale" toscane typique (villa) récemment rénovée, située sur une colline dans la belle campagne, à environ 4, 5 km des remparts médiévaux de la ville de Lucques. Cet environnement est extrêmement calme et hors des sentiers touristiques bruyants.
Toute la villa est située au milieu d'un espace vert de 30 000 m² avec une grande piscine commune et un parking privé pour votre voiture.
La maison (environ 100 m²) est très lumineuse mais fraîche, avec un mobilier country-chic raffiné, et est divisée en deux étages avec un escalier intérieur.
Le rez-de-chaussée (environ 50m2) est composé de:
un grand salon (avec TV couleur),
un coin repas (entièrement équipé pour 10 personnes),
une cuisine (entièrement équipée, avec brûleur à gaz, four, machines à café expresso, etc.),
une salle de bain (avec douche, WC, bidet, lavabo, sèche-cheveux, etc.).
L'étage supérieur (environ 50 m²) est composé de:
deux chambres, une (environ 25 m²) avec un lit king size, la seconde (environ 17 m²) avec un lit queen size,
une salle de bain (avec douche, WC, bidet, lavabo, sèche-cheveux, etc.),
un petit couloir.
Le chauffage de la maison est contrôlé automatiquement selon votre désir.
Le jardin privé (environ 350 m²), avec une entrée directe depuis le salon, est ensoleillé presque toute la journée. Il est équipé de meubles en bois de teck pour manger dehors sous un gazebo ombragé couvrant toute la salle à manger extérieure, en plus d'un espace détente sous un grand parasol.
Les clients sont les bienvenus dans la maison, dans le jardin privé, dans tout l'espace vert et dans l'espace piscine.

Our wonderful holiday in the beautiful Villa Chiara

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Chiara. It is a beautiful home to spend your holiday. The villa has a lovely garden with an outdoor dining set and a large swimming pool. The house is very nicely decorated and the temperature inside the house is perfect thanks to the airco. We very much recommend villa Chiara. Thanks to the very friendly owner Carlo and the local agent Ingrid who did her utmost to make our stay unforgettable.

Lovely villa and stay

Family stayed at the villa for a week in July ‘23. Very enjoyable week. What struck us is that Villa C in reality is very much as advertised. Clean, tidy, light and airy. The pool is close by and the dedicated pool beds was a real plus. Short drive to Lucca. Also nice and accessible paths for walks/runs down along the river

Beautiful holiday

We felt very comfortable. Unfortunately it was very hot at the time. However, the house has very good air conditioning. The check in with Ingrid was wonderful. She was always available to answer any questions we had. We had a great time with our friends.

Rural holiday home

We loved our stay at Villa Chiara, a rural location, a short drive to Lucca and further afield to other Tuscan villages and the coast. The villa is very comfortable and well equipped, the house is part of a small complex with its own well established private garden and shared pool - all well maintained. Very much like the photos. We would definitely recommend Villa Chiara for a relaxing holiday and location to visit the area. Thank you to Carlo and to Ingrid for sharing a wonderful holiday home.

We had a lovely stay af Villa Chiara. It offers a private get away where you can unwind and enjoy the lovely Tuscany views. It’s located just minutes away from Lucca. The house is situated at the end of a road which results in a very peaceful and quiet location. You will not be disturbed by traffic.The house has everything as presented in the pictures. The garden is fully private which we liked very much. The house in decorated with care and is absolutely the opposite of a standerd location. So you will feel home right away. With two bathrooms, very well functioning airconditioning and a large swimmingpool everything you need. The communication with the host Ingrid is very good, she is always available to help. For anyone who wants to book this locations, don’t hesitate it won’t disappoint.

Beautiful place to stay in the Tuscan countryside

We had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful property. It is in a great location; quiet, peaceful gorgeous scenery in the background. Lucca (which is a great place to visit) is just 15 minutes away, Pisa is 30 minutes and Florence is only a 1 1/4 hour drive away. We had some fabulous meals at the hotel which is a 10 mins walk away. And the property itself is terrific. Beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable, it had every facility we need or wanted during our stay. The pool communal and gardens are also lovely (and we often had the pool to ourselves during our 10 day stay). We enjoyed eating and relaxing in our spacious private garden. A special mention for Ingrid, who was extremely helpful during our stay and had lots of good tips. My family of four, with two children aged 11 and 13, loved our stay. Highly recommended.

Wonderful - delightful - fabulous. Highly recommended

Beautifully decorated charming 2 bed 2 bathrooms house (end of terrace) with delightful sunny garden. Close to Lucca (5min drive) yet set in quiet rural location with wonderful views from all its lovely French doors and 2 Juliette balconies. Lovely large pool -which despite being shared with a few other properties - we always had it to ourselves. Ingrid the host was fantastic too - couldn't be more helpful. Only small negative was the high number of mosquitoes - apparently it's a bad year for them- mossie nets may have helped with a little this - but house had lots of mossie incense coils and "plug ins". Don't let this put you off the house, its amazing and the decor and artwork so charming. Thank you Carlo xx

Beautiful villa

You definitely felt cared for and it was clear this is a lovely home that is being shared by the owners. Very rural setting but the home is very well set up and the shabby chic decor feels authentic. Carlo the owner and Ingrid were great to work with. Very concerned that you enjoy the house. We were told to use anything in the house and that was much appreciated. Lucca is a wonderful area to explore. The walled city and the surrounding area. Two small things, an American coffee pot and mosquito netting would be great additions. Ps. It takes a while to figure out the trash disposal system and once you do it is time to leave!!!

tranquil oasis

This property is aesthetically pleasing at every turn. The apartment is part of a large house with 8 or so units. They share access to a pool. Carlos' unit is a beautiful corner unit with a large private garden that is unbelievably peaceful and quiet regardless of who is in the other units. The views are spectacular, looking out onto a large forest and valley beyond. The unit itself is very well equipped. The location just 10 minutes from Lucca is perfect for exploring the city, the wider area or just relaxing in the tranquil garden. Only negative was some late night noise from neighbors who despite repeated requests, talked loudly into the early morning hours. Communication through Ingrid was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Best place ever!

We just got home from Italy and one of our best memories will be our stay at the Villa Chiara. Just a 10 minute drive from Lucca and centrally located to many other Tuscanny sites. It was the perfect location for us---the beauty of the country, close to the fun of a historic city. We had a two bedroom on the corner with a lovely yard, outside eating area and view. The inside of the villa is as charming as it gets and the owners have thoughtfully stocked it with everything you need. Ingrid was our shepherdess while there, always available to help with all kinds of questions. She gave us excellent recommendations to restaurants and sites. We also contracted with her to make dinner for us on our last night there. We were able to sit out at the table outside and take in the sunset as we enjoyed our delicious dinner. If you stay here, take advantage of this opportunity! Some say "the room doesn't matter" but lol, they are wrong. This lovely little villa enriched our stay no end.

Tuscan Dream

We stayed 6 nights at Villa Chiara. It was the perfect size for our family of 3. The apartment was clean and cozy with everything you needed to feel at home. The décor was charming and had Tuscan flair. Our favorite part of staying here was the location. It’s picturesque, everything you would imagine the Tuscan countryside to be. It’s surrounded by green rolling hills. There are vineyards nearby. Fields of sunflowers just waiting to burst open under the summer sun dotting the countryside. Every morning we would drink our espresso in the courtyard listening to the birds. It was magical! It’s only about 15 minutes to Lucca, which makes it convenient and accessible. We went to Lucca multiple times. We also took a day trip to Volterra and San Gimignano. The pool was great and most of the time we had it to ourselves. It was hot so we used it almost every day. Carlos and Ingrid were so welcoming and made check-in and check-out easy and really added a personal touch to the experience. If we ever get the chance to go back to Tuscany, we would stay here again.

Très bon séjour en Toscane dans cette très agréable maison de vacances .En pleine nature avec le chant des oiseaux mais tout proche de Lucca , nous y allions en vélo moins de trente minutes et tout proche de superbes localités Pietrasanta, Pistoia, Monte Carlo, et Pisé où nous sommes allés à vélo retour en train , très facile et très agréable trajet . Disposer d’un petit jardin est également un vrai plus même si l’intérieur de la maison est très bien pensé et très bien décoré . Nous reviendrons !!et cerise sur le gâteau très bon accueil d’Ingrid très aimable et qui a su répondre à toutes nos questions pendant notre séjour

C’est une charmante petite maison, décorée avec goût. Elle est assez bien équipée côté cuisine mais un barbecue serait le bienvenu. Elle dispose aussi d’une machine à laver, bien pratique. Par contre le Wiffi n’est pas très rapide et pas de climatisation. La maison et ses abords (piscine) sont en pleine nature et au vent, ce qui est bienvenu. Le jardin réservé à la maison est très plaisant et joliment fleuri mais la terrasse qui accueille la table pour les repas mériterait d’être mieux entretenue, beaucoup de charme mais peu pratique. Si l’ensemble de la maison est propre, la cuisine (crédence et certains ustensiles de cuisine) avait été négligée lors du dernier nettoyage... C’est a priori un endroit calme mais sans oublier le concert nocturne du chien de la maison d’à côté (dont n’est pas responsable notre hôte bien entendu). De plus, la location étant mitoyenne, l’insonorisation n’est pas au top. Petit conseil, changer le lit « double » de la 2e chambre car il est branlant. Localisation à qq km de Lucca est parfaite !

Dear Joseph, thanks for your review. Frankly, I am quite surprised by your comments, none of which has ever been made before in all these years. Just to give you brief answers, let me say that the installation of an air conditioning system is not allowed in the whole villa, not only in my house, due to Municipal limitations on historical sites. However, ventilators are available in every room. The same goes for the WiFi system, which cannot be faster than wished in the Lucca’s countryside, notwithstanding our efforts with the telephone companies. Moreover, I really find it hard to believe that the house was not clean or the bed shaky: this has never been reported to me by any previous or following guest. Finally, it is our well established policy to ask guests, during their stay, to keep communication channels always open (asking frequently: is everything going well? is there is anything we can do to help in any way?): it would have been sufficient to speak out, if necessary, but we received no specific message/feedback from you.

Wonderful Villa in a great setting

My wife and our 2 kids had delicious time at Villa Chiara. The Villa is very well situated in the countryside in a very peaceful area but only a few minutes a way from the fabulous city of Lucca. The house is very charming, nicely decorated but very functional too. You feel like home with everything you need. Gardens, house surrounding and swimming pool is very well taken care off. Last but not least Carlo and Ingrid are forming a great duo to ensure your enjoy your stay in the villa as well as providing great advises to discover the area. I can only recommend to spend a few days at Villa Chiara

Maison coquette avec jardin privatif et grande piscine commune! 👍 Très bon séjour!

Cet endroit est un petit havre de paix. La maison est coquette et très fonctionnelle (lave-linge, lave-vaisselle, wifi). Le jardin est très bien entretenu et la piscine commune est gigantesque. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à y passer une semaine. Le seul bémol que je vois à cette maison, c'est la connexion internet beaucoup trop lente. En meme temps, internet m'importe peu en vacances. C'était meme une bénédiction que ca ne marche pas bien: obligation de déconnecter!!!

Verblijf was zeer goed. Enkele opmerkingen wat de beschrijving betreft: Bedden van 160cm en 140cm, dus geen kingsize en queensize; volledige keukenuitrusting voor 10 personen, maar slechts 3 wijnglazen en geen gewone ovenschotel. We hadden volgens de foto´s verwacht om het zwembad te delen met 1 of 2 andere families . Het bleken wel 6 of 7 appartementen te zijn.

Dear Paul and Miriam, thanks for your comments. Let me clarify a few points: 1-At the beginning of the renting season there were 9 wine glasses (besides all the other types). I had not noticed that now there are only 3. 2- the set of casseroles in the house is more than complete.: it is situated partly in the kitchen, partly in the chest on the right of the entrance. Maybe you did not notice it. 3-The two beds in our rooms are commonly called King-size and Queen-size beds in any hotel in the world. 4- In the months of July and August it’s possible that the 8 apartments of the entire property are fully inhabited. Consequently the swimming pool has more people. Conversely, in Tuscany there are other villas with single private pools, but with much higher daily renting rates in those two months

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dem Apartement. Die Einrichtung war wie in der Beschreibung. Der Pool und die Anlage waren sehr sauber.

Familienurlaub mit Pool nahe Lucca

Wir haben 2 sehr schöne Wochen in der Villa Chiara mit unseren 2 Kindern verbracht. Wir hatten vor Ort alles, was wir gebraucht haben. Sehr praktisch ist der geschlossene Garten. Unser größerer Sohn liebte den Pool, den wir meist für uns alleine hatten. Ingrid hat uns sehr nett empfangen und hatte für unsere Fragen und Belange immer ein offenes Ohr. Wir können Villa Chiara nur empfehlen und kommen wahrscheinlich wieder 😀
