The Westwinds building is so nice. It is well maintained and has a fabulous pool. It’s right on the beach with easy access. We have stayed here multiple times because it is such a great place. It is safe with a gated parking garage. This condo was very nice. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need including a Keurig coffee maker. The view from the balcony is beautiful. The beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

The best beach trip!

We had a wonderful time staying here with friends! The short walk to the beach and amenities make it hard to ever leave the property! Everything was clean and neat!

Family vacation

Such a clean pretty place to stay! Wish we had a golf cart but still had so much fun enjoying everything. Kitchen and bathrooms well equipped! We loved the comfy beds also and had a beautiful view from the master and living room of the ocean!

Great location!

We loved the amenities and beach access. The unit itself could use a little freshening and new living area furnishings but there were some nice surprises- like free transportation around the whole resort and an on-site mini golf.

Ideal for Young Children

Proprty presented at expected and worked well with two young children. A rug in living room would be nice to be able to get down to play with kids.

Great vacation at Westwinds/Sandestin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of five had a great time at Westwinds/Sandestin. This was our first time visiting the area, and we will definitely be back. Our unit was great - there were a few things I'd love to see if we were to choose this one again like more bath towels, box fans for each bedroom and a better equipped kitchen - there were no hot pads, limited serving utensils, etc. But, the space was adequate. None of us thought the beds were comfortable. However, the resort itself was amazing - the pool/hot tub area and proximity to the beach will be the sole reason we come back. Next time, we will be sure to rent a unit that comes with a golf cart as I can see where that would be handy. We did not explore the area like I thought we were going to, simply because we stayed at the pool area/beach the entire time.

Lukewarm Review

I really don't like to leave "negative" feedback, because overall our experience was OK. But if I don't share my thoughts, then it can't be addressed right? Overall the condo was fine. It was clean, the location was good, plenty of available parking, and the beds were great. However if you are hoping to stay in at night to cook and watch movies or binge watch your favorite shows...you might need to bring some things with you. We had good wi-fi for our devices, however we were unable to access any streaming services on the TV. It never would locate the network (I think it is an LG problem - I have had the exact same problem on one of my TVs. We added a firestick and worked around the proble,) And the TV in the bedroom did not have a remote to access the smart TV functions. The kitchen is very poorly stocked. Most of the cooking utensils were cheap and flimsy, and we didn't even have a cookie sheet to cook on. The warming drawer on the oven was broken off the track, the kitchen faucet had a piece that looked like someone had just sat it on top, and the keurig would not work unless I held down the lid. In the big scheme of things, these things are minor. I am thankful for the cleanliness and the comfortable beds. These small things would have just allowed us to relax and unwind a little differently.

Floor was very dirty. Had to mop for my crawling granddaughter. Her knees and hands were black. Bed sheets were wore out. Fabric shower curtain in guest bathroom without a plastic liner.Positives:Very was as seen. Building and resort was secure and beautiful. Pool was also very nice. Very easy check in and out. Wish check in was a little earlier.
