Yes, the condo could use some updating, but the pictures accurately represent the way the condo looks and that is also reflected in the pricing.

I do want to clarify for future guests that while this condo is an older, classic unit (and priced accordingly), it is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. Several of the statements in this review do not reflect the condition of the home as it is maintained and documented. If anything had been unsafe or not functioning properly during your stay, we would have addressed it immediately — we are available throughout every reservation and routinely resolve issues the same day when guests notify us. We appreciate all feedback and continuously improve the property, but we also want guests to have an accurate impression: this is a well-cared-for, clean condo in an excellent location that many guests return to and enjoy.

Westwinds 4828 is an older unit that has not undergone the extensive renovations found in some other condos within the building. The listing photos accurately reflect the condition of the property, including the bathrooms, balcony, furnishings, and views, and the rental rate is priced accordingly. We are pleased that you enjoyed the beachfront location and appreciate your comments regarding the furnishings and condition of the unit. The pictures are the same as the condo. The only difference is we switched the comforters out for blankets due to covid. All the furniture, bathrooms, fixtures, kitchen all are the same. We know that the condo is not the most updated one, and the price reflects that.

Hi Anna, Thank you for your review and noting how clean our condo is. We have tried to do some minor updates, new furniture, artwork, etc, but this condo has not had any major remodeling done to it and that is reflected in the rental rate. We're glad you thought the condo was very clean and comfortable and wish that it was completely remodeled because then we could charge more for it, but we are working with what we have and making sure that the the things we can control are done right. Hi Melody, Thank you for your candid review. We realize that some things need upgrading and our guests help us by providing feedback. We have priced this unit to be one of the least expensive units at Westwinds for this very reason. The condo does have very sensitive water sensors as well as cable boxes that need to be turned on.
