We have stayed in this unit every fall for the past four years. Right on the beach, private community, close to the main drag with restaurants and shopping. Everything as advertised. We definitely are planning on coming back next year!

Loved the unit, views, weather, and golf cart

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had such a nice stay that we extended 1 exra night and would have done more if it was available. It was my wife and I so we did not need the extra bedroom, but it was nice to have for the space. We try to go to Destin every year around October and this place is now our favorite. The views were spectacular from the balcony. It was easy to get to the beach. The weather was great everyday. There was still some cleanup and repairs going on from the hurricane the week before, but the property and city did a great job! Easy check in and out and good communication. Can't wait to go back.

Property was great just had issues with golf cart and then the second one that was provided! Was frustrating because you pay extra for the golf cart but doesn’t seem to have checks and balances on the golf carts!

The condo was very clean, beautiful, and had a great location. I only wish there had been some beach chairs to use. It was extremely pricey to rent any and if we would have bought any we would not have been able to get them home. The furnishings were beautiful but there is definitely wear and tear on them. I’m sure it is hard to keep everything looking new while renting the space out to others. We would rent here again.

Gorgeous ocean view, and we had a wonderful time. Great location! The construction was a little bothersome at times, but it also meant that our beach was much less crowded than our neighbors, so I’d call that a win. Easy check in process. Would recommend.

Location and view were amazing. We love Beachside One. Unit showing wear and tear and needs updating but was clean and came with a golf cart.

Excellent Location

The condo was an excellent location for our family trip. The private beach was monitored by security to ensure only building guests accessed the area which was a plus. Overall a great stay!

Great rental

This was our second time staying here and have loved it both time. Beautiful beach view and easy access to beach and pool. Great central location for shopping and restaurants. Can’t wait to come back.

Great room with a great view

Great location overlooking the boardwalk and pool. Great for people watching in the afternoon. Room was as clean as any we have stayed in in the Beachside towers. Great stay.

Great condo with a great view!

Had a great time at this property. The condo was spotless. Breathtaking views from the balcony and master bedroom. In my opinion, Beachside 1 is by far the best place to stay at the Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort. Our beach area wasn’t nearly as busy as the areas around us. The only problem we had was the charger for the golf cart went out which left us stranded at Baytowne Wharf one night. Platinum Vacations came out the next day and replaced the charger so we never missed a beat. The golf cart is a must have for the resort!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Experience was very good second time to stay at Beachside first rental with Platnium.The rugs in bath (master) and kitchen needed washed. And noticed a few other minor housekeeping things. Master bed needs a new mattress or at least a thick mattress pad very lumpy. But condo was nice and great views.

girls trip

this was a great spot for our girls trip. head up the pool is under renovation which we weren't planning to use in April anyway. i like the location of the room to the elevator- easy to get to. we didn't get to use the golf cart since the last person who rented the condo did not plug it back in. if I were you, go out there and make sure it's charging well before you need to use it. other than that- everything was nice and we got a few sunny hours among all the rain to enjoy the beach.

Thank you so much for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed your girls trip! We apologize the previous guests didn't plug in the golf cart! It takes about four hours for it to fully charge, so we require guests to have it on the charger when not in use and 99.99% of the time, previous guests are wonderful about making sure it's charging for the next guests. The pool is under renovation, but guests can use the Beachside Two pool located right next door as well as two SOA pools on the resort, though it is a little chilly to use them in April! We hope you come back when the new pool is done in June!

There was so much to explore! We had a blast on the golf cart and my kiddos loved riding the golf cart to Baytown Wharf. Such a fun spot! This condo is definitely the least crowded, compared to all the others in the area. We had plenty of room on the beach! The property management company was very responsive when some minor issues occurred and they took care of them, ASAP! The condo shows some wear and tear but it was very clean!! I might suggest adding some hangers in the closets and maybe some Tupperware too. Overall, great stay! Can’t wait to be back!

Fantastic Beach and Pool-Easy Access to Everything!

We were very happy with our stay at Beachside One! We picked this unit for the beach, the view and location, and also because it came with a golf cart with access to all that the Sandestin Resort offers. (Sadly the cart wasn't charged because something was wrong with the cord, so we lost a day of using it. It could use some TLC) The new pool, hot tub and grilling area are beautiful. It was an easy walk two buildings down to the Beach House Bar for a snack and drink. We took the golf cart every day under Hwy 98 (through a tunnel-sadly not mentioned anywhere on the listing) to get to Baytowne Wharf for shopping, dinner and music...plus we could scoot over to Public's and other shops across 98. Awesome location!! Would love to come back when it's warmer!
