C'est une maison amusante, joliment meublée et bien située. La cuisine a un grand frigo, un grille-pain, une plaque chauffante et un micro-ondes. (pas de poêle mais il y a un four portable qui convient à une petite dinde. Il y a 2 pièces à l'étage, une chambre «fermée» avec une porte et une chambre ouverte. Il y a un lit king size dans la chambre et deux lits jumeaux dans la chambre ouverte. Il y aurait de la place pour six (avec 5 dans les lits et un sur le canapé). Il y a aussi un gril à gaz! Veuillez également noter qu'il n'y a pas de laveuse ou de sécheuse et que 7 invités peuvent être un peu spongieux si cela fonctionne pour vous, cela fonctionne pour nous :).

Autoroute à proximité, 10 à 15 minutes du zoo, de l'Université d'État de San Diego (à 8 km), du centre-ville de San Diego et à 15 minutes de Coronado et des plages. Nous acceptons également les animaux de compagnie et offrons un service de garde d'animaux si vous devez déposer votre chien chez nous pendant que vous visitez la ville! Cette maison a une cuisine qui permet d'économiser de l'argent à l'extérieur tout le temps! Il y a une grande cour arrière fermée pour «sortir, barbecue ou un endroit pour que votre animal de compagnie se promène! La cour n'est pas luxueuse car nous acceptons les chiens et donc ne vous inquiétez pas :) c'est donc surtout de la saleté :). Oui, nous acceptons les animaux dès leur approbation! Le parking est juste à votre porte et l'épicerie est à une courte distance en voiture! En tant que propriétaires, nous vivons à environ 7 minutes et espérons rendre votre séjour IMPRESSIONNANT !!

Un court trajet en voiture (5 minutes?) est le cœur du village de La Mesa, un lieu historique connu sous le nom de «joyau des collines». Il y a d'excellents restaurants, cafés, antiquaires et boutiques spécialisées. Les soirées sont souvent remplies du son de la musique des lieux locaux. Le marché fermier du vendredi est animé toute l'année. Il y a du soleil, des couchers de soleil, des vues vallonnées et des brises océaniques.

Mais vous pouvez venir à San Diego pour les célèbres attractions - les plages, Sea World, le zoo de San Diego, l'île Coronado, la baie de San Diego et les événements au Qualcomm Stadium. Tous ces endroits sont à plus ou moins 10 miles de La Mesa et les autoroutes qui vous y conduisent sont à seulement 800 mètres de ce duplex. Le chariot est pratique et offre un accès facile au centre-ville de San Diego et tout le reste! Vous visitez l'Université d'État de San Diego? Le chariot est le meilleur moyen de s'y rendre car il vous dépose directement sur le campus!

Beautiful comfortable functional hideaway

We loved this cozy yet spacious, comfortable with everything we needed hideaway. The owners were accommodating, helpful and quick to communicate. The beds were so comfortable and the yard was perfect for our dog. We enjoyed daily morning walks to the coffee shops. It was Perfect for our family! Thank you for everything! We hope to return!

The Perfect Home for Pet Lovers

We came to San Diego to work as medical travelers for the winter. After a really rough month in Pacific Beach, the house in La Mesa became available. Staying in the La Mesa house was such a pleasure. There was extra space for me, a king sized bed for my husband, and a fenced yard for the cat and dog. Upon arrival, Linda had gifts waiting for everyone. The upstairs downstairs set up worked well for our sometimes different schedules. The beds were comfortable with nice pillows and linens. Thanks for the extra sheets! We ended up grilling a lot and enjoyed eating outside on the patio. The Farmers Market in downtown La Mesa every Friday night, was about a mile walk. Shops, restaurants, and bars all a mile away. Great owners, location and property. Many many thanks for our home away from home. Lyn, John, Scrappy and Othello.

Location location location

We booked 2 months while we purchased a home. The location could not be any better, very convenient to downtown shopping and restaurants and grocery stores. It was a very quiet neighborhood. It’s a little tricky to find for deliveries for food and Amazon. It was a very warm 2 months for La Mesa and while AC Is installed, it’s upstairs and doesn’t cool off the bedroom that well. Downstairs stayed warm so we used their fan to cool off. The difference in temp upstairs being cooled and downstairs is noticeable. There is no direct sun in the afternoon which is a plus. TV has cable starter package so channel selection is limited. The water pressure is very good and turns warm very fast. It is small downstairs but for 2 people, it was enough for us. The spiral staircase was a bit tricky for the dogs but they adjusted after a few days. The barbecue outside was fabulous and was our preferred method of cooking as kitchen is very small. It was stocked well on utensils and spices but no storage for groceries so we left them on the table in there. The owners were very quick to respond to a couple minor issues. I recommend this place especially regarding its proximity to downtown. It’s not luxurious but it was fine for us.

My family and I absolutely hated our entire stay at this location. It was our first time rented out someone else's home using vrbo. The home was not ready for us to move in even though the owner's stated that it was ready and had been cleaned. The home was dusty, the stairs was loose (safety hazard) I almost slipped and got injured, there was not adequate cooling only a single wall unit in living room, the shower curtain was disgusting, poor lighting in kitchen, and there was no stove.

Great location and certain to meet all your needs!

I should start by saying that Linda and Bill are just fantastic. Quick to respond not only thru the booking process but also during the stay if any questions arise. The location of this property proved to be fantastic. Central to all and less than 15 minutes to any place we needed to go. Neighborhood is quiet, friendly, and nicely secluded. We stayed with Linda/Bill for just over 2 months while relocating to San Diego due to job transfer. It was exactly what we needed, budget friendly, all the amenities we could need, very pet friendly ( our dog is still missing the huge yard), and a very cozy and comfortable home. Beyond the home and the hosts extraordinaire must make mention of the proximity and access to shopping (Vons and Sprouts are less than a mile), Shopping Center, Targets, Wal-marts and certainly many great local eateries; Craft Kitchen still our favorite just blocks away and the many eateries in the Village. Highligh recommend staying with Linda and Bill....

In between homes

Linda and Bill were very responsive. We had a light go out and they came over the next day and fixed it. Our dogs really loved the yard. Overall a great experience.

Great Value

This property was an excellent value. We stayed here with a large family for over two weeks, and really enjoyed our stay. The downstairs/daylight basement living area is comfortable and cozy, the bedroom on the upstairs/main level is excellent, and the outdoor cooking and eating area is great! The only minor complaints were with a bathroom doorknob that was very difficult to lock, and some of the cookware in the kitchen area in the basement (the house has an inductive heating hotplate, but several of the pots and pans were incompatible with induction heating and would not work. We had to transfer food to another pot, or use the burner on the outdoor BBQ grill). These minor items were communicated to the owners on checking out, and I am confident they will correct the issues as they were always very responsive and helpful. The kitchen is tiny, as expected, but is adequate for basic food prep. We brought a crock-pot and rice-cooker with us so that meals could be ready for us when we got home after a long day playing in San Diego, and this worked very well for us. When we tried to cook a full large meal, using the microwave, electric skillet, and hot plate all at the same time, the breaker tripped. The owners were very responsive and helped us to recover quickly- Thank you! Using the BBQ burner instead of the hotplate to finish cooking got our meal done just fine. While having a larger kitchen, an oven, and a washer/dryer would have made things better, any place that had those amenities were significantly more expensive. I believe we got our money's worth and then some with this property. Would recommend to friends, especially for short stays and small families.

Extended stay

I'm not sure what I can say about Linda and Bill that would do them justice. They were very helpful anytime we needed anything, and made sure that we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. My fiancee and I stayed at this location for a little over 2 months, (it was a weird scenario), but it was a blast. We were very centrally located, and never had too far to go to do what we wanted. The neighbors were great, the house was great, and Linda and Bill were amazing. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend this house to anyone traveling to San Diego.

Affordable and Great Location!

Affordable, and a lovely location. Stayed here for 9 days with my band Dubbest. There are 5 of us and we had 3 vehicles and we were very comfortable the whole time. Linda and Bill were very friendly, helpful and non-intrusive. The neighborhood is awesome and you're crazy if you don't try Carnitas Uruapan down the street!

Our Temporary Home

My husband is in the military and we were looking for a place to stay until our military housing was available. We were having difficulty finding a place that would take our 2 large dogs and provide a short term option. I was also in my third trimester and was looking for a place that was safe and would meet our needs. Linda and Bill were accommodating and did whatever they could to make us feel at home. We were impressed with the property and the amenities. We appreciated the owners for their communication , flexibility and responsiveness. We highly recommend this property whether you are looking for a vacation rental or a short term stay.

Recommend

Spent three months here while on travel assignment. Quiet neighborhood, private road, clean house, nice neighbors . Huge fenced in backyard(dirt) great for those with dogs. Bill and Linda were always available and responded immediately to any concerns.

Excellent property for the $$

We stayed at this vrbo during our move from overseas. This gave us an opportunity to be in a place with our 2 dogs that was fully furnished, had a fenced in backyard (it was dirt but still a HUGE bonus for us)!, we had 4 people in the unit for about a week and it was tight but it worked. The grill is awesome and the king size bed (very comfortable) made this a great find. Huge thanks to Linda who was very communicative when we needed her for anything. Great neighbors and walking distance to an awesome new restaurant!

Family get away

Beautiful neighborhood, pictures don't do justice on how cozy and beautiful this home is! We are a family with 3 little ones and dreaded the thought of going to a hotel. We came across Linda's property and could not have chosen a better place for our family to stay! Very affordable, comfortable and close to everything! We loved our stay there. Family Traveling

Owner went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a bed. This is a perfect location to see many attractions in Southern California. I'd recommend this property for small families and people seeking adventures in Southern California. Great location for many attractions.

A week in San Diego!

We really enjoyed our stay! Everything was great! Linda and Bill were helpful and responsive but not intrusive. Location was a little hard to find at first, but was nice and quiet. Close to La Mesa village, a cute little town with coffee and restaurants, and about a 15 minute drive to downtown. All the beds were comfortable especially the king size one. We were traveling with a two year old and Linda was so considerate in making sure our needs were met. Would definitely recommend!

We want to offer something affordable so that everyone can get a vacation! It's a great place to stay while enjoying all that San Diego has to offer! It has quick access to the 94 which gets you to all the other freeways. You can get to downtown San Diego in about 15 minutes. We are 15-20 minutes away from the airport as well! We live one mile away and look forward to making this vacation one you will remember! We are available to respond to those special needs you may have! We love animals and even offer pet sitting for those days that you need to be away for a long time.

This is a two story house with an 'closed bedroom' and an open bedroom (the open bedroom has a trundle twin bed (which means a second twin slides out from under the bed), has a couch that clicks open and an ottoman that opens up to a twin bed) ! It has a small back yard where guests can enjoy their pet or a good ole bbq with the full size gas grill! It offers the space you need to be comfortable on your vacation! There is a small kitchen with full refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, hot plate, dining area, and living room.

The price is fantastic! And you can save money with not having to eat out all the time! It is near everything! We also offer a pet sitting service if you need to drop your pet off at our home for the day!
