The cottage is really cute, it is located in an area where it seems that the locals compete as to who can create the prettiest garden and this is no exception. There is nothing nicer than to pick up a dozen local oysters and a nice bottle of brut cidre and sit either at the cozy front garden table or watch the sun go down over the sea in the back garden. The cottage is well kitted out with a really good oven which we used most evenings. There is a boulangerie and intermarchĂ© within a 10 minute walk which makes it a self catererâs heaven. Great fish, meat & wines at very good prices. For hikers, you can start right where you are (check out komoot) and the surrounding coast and inland are a walkers paradise. The accommodation is of course quite simple, this is not a place for people who expect top hotel quality, the shower is ok, the water is hot, it is a bit dark in the bathroom and you need to climb the ladder to get into bed. If you can live without all possible home comforts but are looking for a cute little cozy cottage, this is it. If you have a laptop, you can connect it directly to the powerbox internet and use it as a wireless hotspot for your devices. Mr Garel lives right next door, he is there if you need any help. We really appreciated his calm- and friendliness. We would not hesitate to come again.
