Location is super quiet, it has a countryside feel even though you are a few minutes away from the city. Pistoia sometimes goes under the radar to many tourist but I think by staying here you can spend way less money than the well known cities and you can use it a base to day trips to the rest of Tuscany by car or train.
Lovely calm spot - easy to get to main roads to see Tuscany
We had a good holiday - it's well positioned for the train into Florence, in addition to seeing Lucca and other lovely spots.
The pool was lovely - nice and big and clean- saltwater rather than chlorine!
The house was pretty good, but the downstairs was very small and basic in comparison with the upstairs which was beautiful. Fortunately the weather was good so we could be outside all the time, so it didn't matter. The kitchen wasn't very well equipped either we ended up buying a frying pan and wooden spoon! We would usually expect a few essentials to be left by previous people such as washing up liquid, salt, sugar and oil to get us started but there was nothing there. I think perhaps the owner lets the cleaning people keep it all which is fair enough, but just a couple of bits to help through the first evening would have been a nice touch.
So lots of pros - very nice place, but I wouldn't want to be there when the weather gets bad because of the cramped downstairs.
Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima settimana. Il posto Ăš splendido e anche la casa. Ci siamo proprio divertiti tanto in piscina. Torneremo sicuramente. Grazie di tutto.
