We offer a beautiful house for a maximum of 4 persons in the heart of Paris and a lively area of the capital - Canal St Martin, known for its cafes, terraces, restaurants, and it's cultural life – The house is actually located in a private passage, 100 m from the road and car driveway in a lovely and quiet backyard. Hyper secure (intercom, concierge, input armored court door)
The house has been completely redone in 2013 with quality materials in a 'Parisien atelier' spirit combining practical and comfort: different waxed concrete, large bay windows, solid oak flooring, air conditioning, facing south west ... Non smoking.
Giving entirely on a wooded private courtyard on ground floor (14 sqm), big enough to have your meals or just enjoy the sun. (Parisian cobblestones).
Our home is spacious, comfortable, totally quiet, clean and 'easy to use' with very friendly neighbors in a warm and inviting classical backyard.
Nicely decorated, including furniture designed by Christian Liaigre.
The house is very bright as it faces south it, has large bay windows both in the living room and the bedroom. Double glazing brightness and calm assured.

- Second bedroom 18 sqm with King size bed (160 cm), two windows looking out onto the courtyard

Our house is within walking distance of Le Marais, Musée Beaubourg , Place des Vosges, La Seine river : 15 minutes walk.
The neighborhood offers restaurants, bakeries, patisseries, shopping, supermarkets, open air market and typical Paris old streets and places.

Clean, Comfortable and Convenient

The apartment is clean and comfortable and has everything you need. There is space to cook and space to eat inside or out. The apartment is also located a few blocks from one of the hippest areas of Paris. Many fun shops, brasseries and restaurants are on both sides of Canal St. Martin so there are many choices if you want to go out nearby. Yann Couvreur, one of the best bakeries was 5 minutes away. The Metro is convenient for getting to other parts of the city,

A wonderful place for a family stay

Our family (parents, two adult daughters) greatly appreciated our stay in Benoit's apartment. We have been to Paris many times, but this was the most spacious, comfortable short-term rental we have had. The upstairs bedrooms are quiet, large and comfortable, while the downstairs felt really big -- large enough for a family to spread out and to relax. The cooking facilities are first-rate, kitchen well equipped, dining room table large enough for a pleasant meal for eight. Nearby shops are good, excellent Saturday market two blocks away, some of the best bakeries in Paris within a ten minute radius. (We did not try the nearby bistros because we have vegetarians in the family and like to cook). We enjoyed discovering this corner of the tenth arrondisement, including the canal. (The area just on the other side of the canal struck us as extremely hip). If there is no strike, you can get to the Left Bank in 20 minutes by direct bus (to the Pantheon) or metro (direct line to Concorde). The heart of the Marais is a 30 minute walk away. Benoit was an excellent host. We did not meet him -- he was away on vacation-- but he was immediately responsible to every question that arose. All arrangements for arrival and departure worked like clockwork. Apartment was extremely clean upon arrival, with a good supply of essentials -- we did not have to run out to the nearby grocery store the first night, as is often the case. The apartment is secure, reached through two courtyards, one by code, the other by key. Lighting is excellent, and there are two desks upstairs -- if you have some work to accomplish here, you can. Wifi was excellent.. My only suggestion, as already noted by others, would be to put a handrail on the staircase to the bedrooms. This would not be the ideal place for people with mobility issues; otherwise it is perfect!

This is a wonderfully, charming home.

This home is in a vibrant and exciting part of Paris. We thoroughly enjoyed our nine-day stay here. This home has it all. It is very comfortable, clean and full of the owners' art collection. The courtyard is quaint and opens up to a lovely living room-dining room-kitchen area. Every comfort is thought of. I cannot say enough about this home away from home. Beautiful.

Home away from home!

This was our first trip to Paris and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The location feels very safe and comfortable. We found many great places to eat that were in walking distance and very friendly to us. Many of our days were full of sight seeing and every time we returned at the end of the day we felt right at home. I highly recommend this location and we will definitely return.
