Exceptional rooftop oasis for a trip to Rome with excellent inside and outside amenities. Comfortable, clean living space with ample and well-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and full bath in a mid-century/modern building. Living area opens onto rooftop terrace with spectacular views and a place to relax outdoors. Easy access to bus, tram, and train transportation. Owner/Manager communication was outstanding and accommodated our early arrival needs. Elevator access with 1 flight of stairs to access apartment. Safe area to walk around at all hours. Approximately 20-25 minute walk to the heart of Trastevere. Grocery store was a 5 minute walk and handled all our needs. Would definitely stay here again!
I enjoyed all aspects of this property, with the roof deck reigning supreme among all the amenities. Enjoy your coffee out here, your book, your phone calls, your evening relaxation hour. An oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Roma but easy walking distance to two train stations, lots of buses, and all the shops & restaurants you could need. I would gladly stay here again.
Great place to stay in Rome.
Beautiful space and view for this quiet location
5 minutes walking to tram and bus station, so ideal starting point to visit Rome and go outside in the evening
The apartment was exactly as advertised. Roof deck was amazing and the views incredible. The neighborhood was quiet and centrally located, close to Trastevere Market and Restaurant area. Bedding was clean and comfy, and the AC units worked well. We would definitely recommend staying here.
We stayed for a week for a birthday celebration in Rome. The neighborhood is fun and relaxed; great restaurants and cafes. Easy cab ride to all of the famous destinations in Rome and when we returned at night, it was wonderful to be in a peaceful neighborhood on the top floor of the buidling. The flat was a perfect size and really comfortable. This property gets my highest possible rating.
Amazing two bedroom, one bathroom penthouse apartment in a fantastic neighborhood!
This apartment has everything you need to enjoy a comfortable stay in Rome. From the exceptionally large living room to the extremely large terrace, and the small swimming pool-sized bathtub, you will want for nothing!! Thereâs a washing machine with a drying rack, A master bedroom with a large comfortable bed, And a smaller secondary bedroom with a pull out bed that is built into an oversized chair. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this apartment and it finished off our month-long tour of Italy in style! We would gladly stay here again!!
Roberto and his sons were very nice and helpful to us. The house was plenty big for al of us (4) wish the weather was better but thankful for those umbrellas!!
Look no further.
This apartment has it all, well furnished, private and quiet.
Beautiful outdoor terrace with amazing views.
Close to everything you will need.
Anna is also an excellent host.
Would not hesitate to come back.
This property is an amazing place to stay. It is extremely spacious; at least 5 sliding glass doors leading out onto a wraparound deck! Very clean and modern with anything youâd need for a week away from home. Great communication with the owner. A taxi is just a phone call away and about $13 to Downtown Rome. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We immediately fell in love with the sun terrace. Sun all day and some fresh air whilst having the greatest view possible of Rome, being above the roofs, breathing fresh air. The appartment is up the hill, so after a long walk through the city you might get tired, but it is worth it. It is calm and well connected with tram and bus and close to Trastevere railway station. Supermarkets are nearby and markets as well. It is a calm quarter with more Romans than tourists (rare case in a city like Rome). We felt at home for the 2 months being there. For any problems and questions Ludovica was available to help, my daugther keeps talking about her and her mechanical skills.
We would love to go back. Thank you so much Ludovica, hai reso il nostro soggiorno ancora piu` piacevole. Grazie mille.
This is a lovely very well appointed apartment. I don't think the photos do it justice. It is very bright and airy with an incredible terrace. One side of the terrace has views overlooking Rome and the other side has a park like view with beautiful trees. We enjoyed watching the parakeets while we had our morning coffee on the terrace. The apartment is on the top floor of a 10 story building. The elevator goes up to the 9th floor with one flight of stairs to the apartment. The building is at the top of a hill but you have your choice of taking the number 75 bus at the top of a short staircase beside the building or going down to the bottom of the hill to catch a tram. The Trastevere train station is a short walk. There is a grocery store and cafe at the top of the stairs to the left and some lovely neighbourhood restaurants. Our favourite restaurants in Rome were Tonnarello in Trastevere and Emma on the other side of the river.
We had a blast in this apartment which made our stay in Rome very pleasant. We stayed there with four grown-ups and one little kid and it was big enough for us all to feel comfortable. Furthermore it was very nice that the apartment was so well equipped. Everything we needed was already in there from coffee machine over washing machine to vacuum cleaner and we missed nothing. But the most amazing thing is the roof terrace where our little son could play freely and where we spent a lot of our time. Another thing is the very nice supermarket in walking distance with an amazing choice of good food that we recommend warmly. The hosts are really nice people who helped us with everything we needed (they even were so kind to lend us their own umbrellas when the weather was rainy) and when we realized that we forgot some important things after returning home they searched them for us and send them back!
Our stay wouldnât have been so pleasant without this apartment since traveling with little kids requires certain standards of living and it was awesome after a long trip through the city to always come back to such a nice oasis.
So all in all we had a really good time there and back home we recommended this flat to all our friends who also want to visit Rome.
There are windows with views from every room (and major views from the terrace).
The Living Room/Dining Room looks over the terrace. It is spacious with two sofas, one converts to a bed, and a dining table plus a big TV.
The air-conditioning handled the hottest days we experienced in September. The rest of the time we opened windows. There did not seem to be any security problems and the apartment door has standard massive deadbolts.
Neighborhood: residential, no tourists, never heard anyone speaking anything other than Italian in the quiet neighborhood. We walked to neighborhood restaurants that ran the gamut and were great (much better than the tourist traps downtown)(reservations best on weekends). Supermarket and outdoor markets an easy short walk. We got a little shopping cart to haul the bottles of water and wine home. The only night-time noise we ever heard was an occasional ambulance down on viale Trastevere. You can walk to the Gianicola.
Public Transport: we walked downhill to get the 8 tram on Viale Trastevere to Piazza Venezia or up the stairs next to the building to get the 75 bus to the Colosseo or to Termini Station. We walked down to Trastevere station to meet a friend coming in from Fiumicino and took a taxi back (⏠10-12). There are many other buses there as well. You can take another bus to Pza Argentina and change for buses that go to the Vatican. Coming home it was usually the tram 8 to the Ministry of Education and change to the 75 bus up the hill.
Youâll be so glad when you get back to this oasis of calm with no crowds like Pza Navona or Spagna where they are so thick you cannot even fall down.
Electric: The circuit breaker downstairs trips if you accidentally run too many appliances at once. Short elevator ride downstairs to reset it. But, this place was built and wired before they invented a lot of these appliances. You can run two, but best not to chance three. You learn pretty quick. If they ever find a way, they may upgrade the electrical service.
Ludovica, we cannot say enough about how helpful you were, especially in arranging car service to pick us up and drop us off at airports and train stations. You really helped to make our visit so much fun. Thank you for your many kindnesses.
Would come again, would recommend to family and friends !
We stayed here the last 2 weeks in September 2024. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and convenient. We were astonished at the quietness of the neighborhood. We did not have a vehicle, but the grocery store was a 10 minute walk away, and coffee shops and gelato shops and ATMs and a restaurant were a 15 minute walk away. Many of the main attractions such as the Basilica S Marie Trastevere, the Pantheon, the Jewish Ghetto and many others were a 30 minute walk. The smart tv had Prime and Netflix apps and we were able to log into our accounts to watch English programs late in the evening - a pleasant experience after "tourist overload." The hostess, Anna Laura, was so helpful - she arranged for our transportation to and from Fiumicino, advised us on the location of things that we needed, and responded immediately via What's App when we had a question.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to stay here again.
Check in was late, none of our calls were answered, when check in was done it was brief and cursory,. When I raised the issue of no replies to my calls the rep said maybe she was busy. The most basic responsibility of an agent is to answer the clients calls. Apart from that the property was wonderful
My daughter and I stayed for 7 days and we had a wonderful experience. The property manager was very helpful with assisting with information regarding transportation throughout Rome as well as setting up transportation for us to and from the airport. We had a very peaceful stay and the view is amazing. It is very easy to get to any of the tourist attractions through the bus system. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Rome.
Jederzeit wieder.
