Gîte de Papa à Fairhope

Une modeste maison en brique de 3 chambres construit avec Papa à l'esprit. La maison est entièrement accessible, y compris de larges portes, pas de tapis et des articles de balustrades. Une chambre avec un lit queen size et la deuxième chambre a un lit double de taille. La troisième chambre a été faite dans une grande buanderie, mais dispose d'un lit d'appoint de style hôtel disponible pour utilisation.
La maison dispose d'une salle de bains complète avec une douche accessible. La cuisine a tous les appareils principaux, y compris un lave-vaisselle. Il ya une belle grande cour, mais il n'a pas clôturé.

Nous sommes à 8 miles du centre-ville et près de Fairhope beaucoup de merveilleux restaurants.

Awesome spot!

We had a wonderful time here! Mary Jean and her husband were so kind and helpful. The house was well stocked and they even provided some great treats and sodas for us to enjoy. Will definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this homey cottage. The owners are the definition of true southern hospitality. Our stay was fabulous and the cottage was much nicer in person than the photos capture. We look forward to staying here again and again.

Great Stay

The house was spotless and the hosts went above and beyond. The house was decorated for the 4th, and other special touches included cookies upon our arrival, and orange juice, breakfast bread, and everything needed for morning coffee. Mary Ann and George are what we folks in the South call “good people.” Highly recommend.

Feels like Home

We had a another nice vacation in Alabama at Papas Country Cottage in Fairhope. This was our second stay at Papas Cottage. We enjoy the quiet country atmosphere. The cottage is stocked with everything that you might need. Mary Jean and George are a pleasure to visit with and always take care of any needs you might have to make your visit more enjoyable. Hope to stay there again on our next trip to FairhopeBob & Nancy

Papa’s Cottage is a quiet peaceful home.

Mary makes you very comfortable, they always make you feel welcome, they meet you and make sure your arrival is pleasant. They have breakfast bread, butter, coffee and cream also juice. This is so nice as we had a long drive so not having to search for these things the first morning is very appreciated.

We love Papa's Place!

Having stayed here for years, we were concerned that the damage from the hurricane last year would change the atmosphere at the home. We were pleasantly surprised to find that, other than missing a few trees, nothing has changed at all. Mr. George and Mrs. Mary Jean are the perfect hosts! From the goodies left in the fridge and on the table to the consistency and cleanliness of the home, this is the perfect place for our small family to visit nearby family. We love coming here every time!

Quiet, comfy and relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay at PaPa's Cottage. Meeting the owners was an added bonus! They were very helpful and a pleasure to talk with. We were in town for a family reunion, and this cottage worked out perfectly. It was wonderful to have a place close by to come back to and chill after visiting friends and family. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The queen size bed slept very well too!! The next time we head to town, we will check to see if PaPa's cottage is available before looking anywhere else.

Mary is a sweetheart!

Mary was great to work with and everything about our stay was great. She met us at the property to help us get settled and had already put a few goodies in the fridge for us. We were hired to play for the city of Mobile's pre-fireworks show and put some other gigs together around the Fairhope area. Mary showed up at our final show of the trip! What a sweet lady.

Ted and his group the Thousandaires, were very special guests. They were just like family and I feel like they are family now. They left everything in perfect condition. My friend and I very much enjoyed listening to their music. They were great. I would love for them to come again.

A nice place to stay

The host is truly one of the kindest people I have ever met. She was so sweet and helpful. She cares about people.. The home is very clean and very well stocked with attention given to every detail. My dog loved to play in the large yard. The property leaves nothing to be desired. My wife, son, dog and I had a great time. You will too if you book this home.

Papas Cottage

Ms Mary and Mr George we’re extremely wonderful people, they made sure we were comfortable, they had coffee, creamer, breakfast bread, some cold sodas and water also orange juice in the cottage so we didn’t have to go back out a four 13 hour drive. Ms Mary had a fresh bouquet of flowers with a Mother’s Day balloon waiting to greet me! They are the nicest people, I hope we have the pleasure of seeing them again.

Loved Papa's Country Cottage!!

Ms. Mary was the sweetest person ever! She was there to greet us when we arrived and showed us everything that we needed to know about the cottage. We were only there for a short stay, in town for our daughter's soccer tournament for the weekend. She even had flowers and a balloon waiting for me for Mother's day! She made my 12 yr old daughter's day when she showed up to see some of her game! We would highly recommend staying here! We truly loved our stay!
