MAISON INDÉPENDANTE située au coeur du centre historique, dans un quartier calme à deux pas de la place principale, à 50 mètres de la plage et du départ des bateaux vers les autres villages et à 10 minutes à pied de la gare; également à côté de la propriété est l'entrée du célèbre CHEMIN BLEU pour les 5 TERRES.
A proximité il y a des restaurants, bars, banques, aire de jeux pour enfants ..
La maison a été entièrement rénovée par un architecte, en conservant le charme de la maison typique de la Ligurie.
Il est meublé avec grand soin et équipé de tout confort.
Au rez-de-chaussée il y a le salon avec TV satellite, salle de bain avec douche et cuisine avec cuisinière 4 feux, four et réfrigérateur.
Un petit escalier mène à l'étage supérieur où se trouvent DEUX grandes chambres, toutes deux avec double vitrage.
La maison est équipée de WI-FI, CLIMATISATION, CHAUFFAGE INDÉPENDANT, machine à laver et séchoir à linge.
Les propriétaires sont toujours présents sur place et disponibles à tout moment.

This was such a gem to find. Perfect little space for us to stay. Easy to access for restaurants, shops and the beach. Easy to access with out luggage upon arrival from the train. Comfortable rooms and an ideal place for our visit. Highly recommend this property.

Great Little House!

We had a wonderful stay here! The location was great since it was off the beaten path, but close to the beach, shopping & restaurants. Mariagrazia was very helpful when we got there and also helped us figure out where things were in the village.

Monterosso is the best of Cinque Terre

Affordable and your one little house, after taking the boat tour to all the other towns this is the best. The stairs are more like a ladder, would not recommend an elderly couple staying here.

Perfectly located in the old town of Montarosso. Spic and span, small but thoughtfully put together! Only thing I would change is to add a topper to the mattresses they are very European and a bit of an adjustment for Americans. That said the bedrooms are so lovely!

Monterosaa home base of CT visit

Our host couldn’t be sweeter. Very helpful and accommodating. The house was perfectly located in a quiet area close to the beach. It was well appointed with washer (and detergent) and ability to split beds for making 2 for our children. There was AC throughout, but loved the windows open and the fresh air at night. Thank you!

Fantastic!

The little beach house was the perfect location for going to town, going to the beach, and getting to the train station. We were there over 2 weeks and was able to have a home base while exploring other towns and hikes.

Small but clean and central apartment.

Had a lovely stay. This is a central location with a 7 minute walk to the train station and 5-15 minutes to some great shops and restaurants. Clean and well kept. Host was kind and and helpful, but spoke limited English. Note, both bedrooms are up a steep set of stairs. Not recommended for someone with mobility challenges.

Good location

The location was awesome. Plenty of options for food and close to train station. Parking is nearby for a daily fee. The unit was small but adequate for two adults. This would be tight space for 4 people and would not recommend it. In addition, the beds were not comfortable and had the springs coming up. A suggestion would be to place a mattress topper on top to compensate for the terrible mattresses.

In the main square of town. Host was kind, welcoming, and helpful. Walking trails to other towns close. You can walk to the train station. In the winter a lot of the town is closed.

Avery beautiful little fisherman’s house. Right in the village. It was also right beside hiking path. Nothing short of wonderful. Mariagracia was a kind help soul. I hope to stay again. One thing, staircase is steep so able body needed.

Charming!

Booked 3 nights with my husband, two year old, and mother in law. Two separate bedrooms upstairs with large beds and plenty of storage for luggage. Kitchen has everything you need and a washing machine. My favorite was the sitting room with books to choose from and a very comfortable sofa. Ocean breezes waft through the windows and it truly made you feel relaxed. Steps from the beach, restaurants, and shops. The host went ABOVE & BEYOND to provide us with a crib for our little one. I highly recommend this property for your stay.

Maria was a wonderful host! Always available for any questions or concerns.

The properties location is excellent. Close to the beautiful beach and delicious restaurants & shops. My only complaint is the stairs from the upstairs bedrooms to the low floor are extremely narrow, steep with no railing. Be sure to use the bathroom before going to bed. You will not want haul luggage up to the bedrooms. The washer is older and dryer is actually a rack that you can hang clothes on.

I’m sorry that those stairs inside my apartment was an issue for you. However, I suggest you next time you make a reservation, to check all the pictures and details about the place you are going to rent, in order to avoid those kind of problems.I’ll definitelly keep in mind your comment and for the future, I’ll start to suggest my apartment to joung and athletic customers or any other guests that doesn’t make a big deal about claimbing 8 little narrow steps. About the washing machine, the fact that we decide not to by one with touch screen in order to simmplify the use to our guests, it doesn't mean it's an old one, we didn't buy in the day before your arrival but it's ony few years old and it works great.The dryer is never mentioned in the description of the apartmentand; hanging chothes outside for drying its something that, in Italy, everybody do, because it's part of our used and costume and lots of tourists love to take pictures at it, too bad you didn't appreciate the spirit of it.

Excellent location just off the main piazza, quiet side street, very safe. 2 bedrooms on 2nd floor are clean minimalist design with fresh clean linens, opening windows, and ample space for luggage and the double beds. House is quaint, small, but perfect for the 2 of us ladies for a few nights; kitchen is well supplied, washer worked great! No dryer but there is an excellent outside rack and pins. Walk to restaurants and beach is 5 mins, you can hear the waves from the bedrooms. Owner is lovely, helpful, and speaks English well. We loved our stay!

I want to be careful and honest about this review, from a Midwestern American’s POV. My adult daughter and I traveled to Montessori in late May of 2024. We stayed here for two nights. The location is exceptional. It’s quiet and off to the side, yet within easy walking distance of wonderful places to visit. It is near the Blue path, which was incredible. The hostess was as communicative, responsive and kind as one could ever hope for. The house itself is charming and small- but makes good use of its space. We love staying in places like this because we can unwind in rooms that are not the bedroom. Free Wi-fi and a nice TV for the few moments we weren’t enjoying the wonders of the location. The mornings were wonderful- just outside our window we could see lemons and limes weighing down the trees. We could hear the sounds of Italian children chattering on their way to school. It was good for the soul. I would call staying here “glamping”- at its very finest.

Perfect location and Wonderful host!

This home is the perfect location for exploring Monterosso, spending time at the beach and hiking the Cinque Terre trails. The host owns a gift shop steps away and was extremely welcoming and kind. She also carries everything you may need for your travels in her store which is nice for replenishing your travel supplies or picking up a souvenir. The home really is less than a block from the private and public beach. We rented two lounge chairs and an umbrella at the private beach for 25 Euro- the cost is for all day and gives you access to a bathroom, changing rooms and an onsite bar and restaurant. The water is beautiful and the beach also rents paddle boats and kayaks. Our family had a wonderful time at the beach and another day, hiking to Vernazza. The hiking trail is literally right outside the rental home door! The area to ride a boat is also close by and the home is walking distance from the Monterosso train station. The home is equipped with a kitchen, washing machine, modern bathroom, family room with tv, and two large bedrooms upstairs with lots of storage areas and closets. We loved this part of our trip and can’t wait to come back!

Great location!

My wife, young son and I stayed at this beautiful cute little house just steps away from the beach in Monterosso al Mare. The hostess, Ms. Mariagrazia, was exceptionally friendly, helpful and warm. She made us feel very welcome immediately. Throughout our stay, we would reach out to her and she would respond reasonably quick with helpful advice. She owns a store that is steps away from the house so speaking with her in person or via phone/text was easy. The location of this house is probably the best selling point. It is steps away from the beach and is a great access point to it. The house itself is cute. There is a small living area downstairs with a small bathroom for the entire house. The bathroom is reasonable. The shower is a little tiny but it was not that big a deal for us. There is a small kitchen with reasonable cookware. The place was quite clean and tidy. The living area and two bedrooms upstairs each have an air conditioning unit. They are functional and they work well which was needed during the time we were there (July). Upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms each with 1 double bed. The living area has a good-sized TV and the Internet, via Wi-Fi, was fast and reliable for our purposes. We really enjoyed our stay here! The biggest selling points were the great location and Mariagrazia. We would easily stay here again!

location confortable et très propre

appartement très bien situé et chaleureux ,nous étions à 10 mn de la gare et du parking . Nous avons passé 5 jours sans prendre notre voiture. Nous avons apprécié la clim dans l'appartement car à la date de notre séjour du 13 au 18 juin il faisait déjà bien chaud Les propriétaires sont très sympa et toujours dispo pour nous renseigner.

Très beau séjour à Monterosso et aux cinque terre

Un petit appartement très bien situé dans le centre historique de Monterosso, à côté de l'entrée du sentier pour aller à Vernazza. Logement tout à fait conforme au descriptif et le propriétaire est charmante pour nous indiquer les bons endroits et bons plans pour profiter au maximum de notre séjour Tout prêt de la plage et du petit port pour prendre le bateau Pour 4 personnes excellent rapport qualité/prix À recommander
