Beautiful tranquil pool home near beaches and golf

Our stylish 2,200 sq.ft. home has been decorated in beach cottage style, an eclectic mix of shabby chic and vintage pieces.
It sits high on a large lot in a private road of only 6 homes close to Phillippi Creek with all its wonderful birds and wildlife. Drive or cycle to Siesta Key, one of America's Best Beaches for many years, (10 minutes by car) or visit the fabulous Mall at UTC, many designer names as well as all America's favourite brands.
The many varied restaurants of Tamiami Trail are equally close by, many offering take out service.
Or simply relax in your own tropical paradise, sparkling heated saltwater pool (less chemicals, kinder to eyes and skin), fully screened in with al fresco eating, large gas grill for the excellent local seafood, and a spacious screened lanai! (No bugs or other unwelcome visitors!)
The pool is not overlooked and the whole yard is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping.

For several years Siesta Beach has been voted America's Best Beach and confirmed what we have known for years.
The fine white quartz crystal sand has healing powers and is home for many nesting birds and sea turtles.
The aquamarine ocean is warm by May/June and remains so until November.
A regular morning walk on this stunning beach or a sunset shared with a friend or lover is a magical experience, never to be forgotten.
The public beach has full facilities and is busy and popular, we prefer the north end of the key where the beach is tranquil and you can spend hours with a book and enjoy a more secluded experience.
The village is only a short walk away with full facilities.

Bedrooms: All our bedrooms have fine linens and comfortable beds, the bathrooms are all white with tile floors, the en suite walk in shower is newly fitted for 2021. We have cupboards full of towels and sheets, duvets for the winter, sufficient extra bedding for 6 to sleep in comfort.

We have a cot and high chair.

Kitchen and dining: When we stay in the house we entertain our many local friends and family and can easily feed 6 on a regular basis, we have lots of pots and pans and crockery/cutlery! Unlike an average rental this is our family retreat and with our 6 children and many grandchildren it has to be on a large scale!

You can park 5 or 6 cars on the drive and most guests agree there is little need or desire to go anywhere once you settle around the pool. Our only problem is we get too relaxed here and never make all the trips we intended!

Our rates are quoted in UK £ and include taxes, electric pool heat, cable and WiFi.
We have a refundable security/damage deposit of $300
We accept US $ checks from our returning regular US guests but all other international payments from our regular guests must be made by secure online banking, or VRBO Online Payments for all new VRBO guests.
A MINIMUM STAY OF 1 MONTH WILL APPLY DURING OUR BUSIEST SEASON - JANUARY through MARCH.
At Christmas we ask for a MINIMUM 10 DAY STAY with no arrivals/departures on Christmas Day or New Years Day.
