The cottage looked just the listing!! It was very nice and the check in and check out process was very easy! I will apologize if we forgot to do anything! Overall, for my first experience using an air b&b, it was a pleasant experience!!
House was lovely. Very comfortable beds and quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to grounds and to coffee shop. Property manager responded right away when we contacted her during our stay. We appreciated the quick action to our request!
We had a wonderful stay at Azalea Cottage in Charlottesville, VA while visiting our son. The home was exactly as advertisedâimmaculately clean, charming, and well-maintained. It's a cozy two-bedroom cottage with very comfortable beds and a nice backyard featuring a patio and grill, perfect for relaxing. The location was excellent, just south of the UVA campus, making it convenient for everything we needed. Check-in and checkout were seamless. We would definitely stay here again.
Great place and perfect location for UVA football!
We came to town for football and chose this place because it was in walking distance to the stadium. Perfect location! Perfect little house and back yard!
We visited Charlottesville for our sons graduation from the JAG law center. This home was charming, clean, and very comfortable. If I ever need to be in Charlottesville again, I will plan to stay here.
3 friends and I spend the weekend in Charlottesville and enjoyed this little cottage! It was close to downtown (driving) and has a cute area in the backyard to sit outside in the evening.
We came to Charlottesville for a wedding and could not have been more pleased with this property. Walking distance to UVA and a short ride or a longer walk downtown. It was extremely clean and the host was responsive and ensured we had everything we needed. We had an amazing time. Would come back!
What a cozy place! One of the cleanest VRBOs Iâve stayed in. We were short on towels but other than that it was perfect and I would definitely book this home again in the future.
We booked this cute house for a concert at JPJ arena. The house is even better than the online photos. Super cute and very clean. Walkable to campus and several local restaurants. We also drove to Shenandoah National Park.
Easy check in and overall great stay. Highly recommend.
We stayed here for easy access to UVA Hospital and UVA. This house was perfectly located, within 1.5 miles of the hospital and less than a mile to UVA. The house is the perfect size, very comfortable and has everything you need. We stayed for a week and didn't want to leave. The backyard would be perfect also but we were there during the winter and did not go outside. The property manager is friendly and very helpful with any questions. I would definitely stay here again!
My parents rented this house to be nearby to help care for my new baby. The house is bright, well-appointed and cozy. The fenced-in back yard was perfect for their dog to run around, and the location meant it was easy for us to take walks up to UVA or hop on 250 to get downtown or to Barracks Road, or onto 64 to head out to a winery. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient rental in Charlottesville.
My wife and I and our daughter were visiting the UVa campus and had the pleasure of staying in the Azalea cottage. What a beautiful and comfortable spot! The beds and pillows were superb and we felt right at home the entire time. We walked to UVa to tour the campus and then walked only 2 blocks later that evening to a fun wood fired pizza restaurant. I can't think of one thing I would do to improve this cottage!
The cottage is adorable and set up nicely. Comfortable furnishings and nice quality linens. The backyard is a huge plus. Great location, convenient to the University and shops and restaurants. A couple notes: the electric has not been updated and there are limited outlets in the rooms which can be challenging. Also, there was a strong musty smell the entire time we we were there. Opening windows for air flow did not help. It rained during our visit and a fair amount of water leaked into the basement. We advised the property manager and were told that they have a commercial dehumidifier and sump pump. Based on the strong musty smell, however, Iâm not sure that equipment is sufficient.
The location is incredibly convenient â less than a mile to campus â which made everything so easy during our visit. We appreciated the clean, cozy spaces and quiet neighborhood.Highly recommend for anyone visiting UVA. We will be back.
I am an interior designer and renovation addict! I was so excited to find this property right next to UVa and completely renovate it and furnish it with fun finds from my favorite stores.
We graduated from UVa in the 80's and lived not too far from this street. When this house became available, we knew we had to jump on it. The location so close to Scott Stadium will provide UVa football lovers the greatest parking and tailgating spot not in the stadium.
