Cabell Cottage est un chalet confortable situé à l'écart de l'une des plus belles artères du comté d'Albemarle, Garth Road. Niché dans les bois dans une rue calme, vous vous sentirez reposé et détendu après un séjour dans cette maison bien aménagée. Avec toutes les pièces sur un seul niveau et trois places de parking devant la maison, l’accès ne pourrait être plus facile! Les lucarnes de la maison apportent beaucoup de lumière aux chambres pour rendre le cottage joyeux et charmant dans ce cadre serein.

Promenez-vous dans la maison à la vue sur la forêt à travers les grandes fenêtres du salon. Le salon, la cuisine et la salle à manger sont tous ouverts les uns aux autres. La chambre à lits jumeaux studio est situé sur le côté sud de la maison, avec un demi-bain ci-joint. Marcher vers le côté nord de la maison à un coin salon supplémentaire avec télévision par câble. À l'extrême nord du chalet se trouve la suite principale, dotée d'un porche avec moustiquaire et d'une salle de bains privative.

A beautiful cottage

We had a wonderful stay at your property and truly appreciated the beautiful decor and spaciousness. The location was also fantastic for exploring the surrounding area, including Charlottesville, Monticello, and UVA. We especially loved being so close to Charlottesville while still enjoying the peaceful and tranquil environment.

Beautiful country getaway

The house is beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. The surroundings could not be more picturesque, only a short drive to downtown Charlottesville. Would strongly recommend for a couples getaway in particular, but could also be great for a family.

Great girls' get-away!

My gal pals and I had a great stay at Cabell Cottage. There were 3 of us and we could have brought a 4th, although it would have meant a sofa bed for her.Just be aware there is only one shower but it is in a very large bathroom which was nice. The artistic flair of the cottage was so charming! We enjoyed the fireplace, but read the fine print that says "bring your own firewood." Also, there was no garbage bin for us to put trash, so we took it with us. Otherwise, the setting was phenomenal and it was just what we all needed! We would definitely return! Also, not far from downtown Charlottesville and several wineries!

The Cabell Cottage has to be my fave stay ever. The home was stunning and so absolutely clean and comfortable with decor straight from a magazine. We had such a great time and slept so well on those beds!! Thank you for the best stay!!

Tranquil Stay

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Cabell cottage. Absolutely everything in this home is top notch. From the bedding to the construction of the home, it all is tastefully done. There is a plethora of informational books on local history, trees, landmarks, etc. I found this cottage to be one of the most relaxing rental properties I have ever stayed at. The drive to the neighborhood is absolutely breathtaking with the rolling hills and fields around every corner. Just be careful of the deer here. Little families were walking around everywhere.

Perfect, comfortable, lovely and comforting place to stay for a family of 4!

We were in Charlottesville for our nephew’s graduation and this charming little cottage was so much more comfortable, for our family of four, than a hotel room. Loved our stay! Located in a beautiful and safe area, quiet, lovely area to walk or run—15 mins from Charlottesville dining options. Comfy beds and living area. Gorgeous views, surrounded by nature! With Family in Charlottesville, we will definitely stay here again!

C’Ville Oasis

Cabell Cottage was a C’Ville oasis! The layout was perfect for my mom and I. The two bedrooms are at opposite ends with the kitchen, dinning room, living room and sitting room between. We especially loved the private screened in porch for our morning coffee. The kitchen was well equipped for our dinner in and we were a quick ride away for our girls’ night out in downtown Charlottesville. I cannot wait to return!

Lovely property

I really enjoyed my stay at Cabell Cottage. It was as described and perfect for what we needed. Only thing we didn’t expect was the one outdoor space where we might have eaten meals outdoors did not seem entirely private as it is attached to the patio of the property owner. Perhaps I should have discerned that from the description. But I didn’t. And for my friend, who stayed in that bedroom, and myself it didn’t matter as we felt comfortable using it if we’d wanted to. The completely private screened in porch attached to the master was glorious. It was perfect for visiting over morning coffee, a late afternoon glass of wine, or just sitting and reading. It was a very comfortable guest house for some much needed r & r. I’ll definitely book again when I have occasion to be in Charlottesville. The setting was gorgeous. I envy the owners who get to live there. Oh, and PS, thank you for the book. My friend has it now and will pass it along to me when she’s finished. But we felt a kinship with you due to much of your reading material in your bookcases and we thank you for your hospitality.

Slice of Heaven

Cabell Cottage left us speechless! It was more than perfect for our girl friend reunion!! The Cottage was beyond our expectations!! The cottage was so nicely and tastefully decorated with full country charm that takes you back to another time. This serene location was convenient for our downtown concert and for our day at the wineries. We enjoyed our evenings relaxing, lighting the candles and sitting around the fireplace with the full window view of the tranquil woods to be the perfect gathering place to celebrate our friendship! The kitchen was nicely stocked with pots,pans and dishes. The bathrooms also provided several sets of luxury bath towels and the beds were so comfy we all had the best sleeps! The Cottage had a nice library of books to browse through. Loved the screen porch surrounded by woods for morning coffee chats or to read a book. We will definitely recommend Cabell Cottage and will be our go to when in Charlottesville!

Amazing cottage

My wife and I and our adult son spent a wonderful three nights at Cabell Cottage. We stayed here for a concert at the Jefferson Theater. It took us about 15 minutes to get to the parking garage on the pedestrian mall. The cottage is beautiful. It is extremely well maintained and has a nice cozy farmhouse feel. Plenty of exterior light from the large windows along the back of the cottage. We loved the wood burning stone fireplace. The kitchen is very well equipped. Check-in and check-out were very easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Cottage full of character and perfect location

Cabell Cottage could not have been more perfect for me, my two sisters, and my mom for a long weekend. First of all, the location is absolutely beautiful. Set off on a very private, quiet road and in the woods. We went for a walk each morning and saw lots of deer and just enjoyed the peacefulness. We toured Monticello, walked around UVa and of course went to a couple of wineries - all within 20 minutes or so of the cottage. The cottage itself is fabulous and has all sorts of little homey touches to it. Kitchen well stocked and we had plenty of space. They had a futon in the living area, so you could sleep even more if needbe, but still only has the 1 and a 1/2 baths, so keep that in mind. Also, any questions I had the host was very quick to respond (we had no issues, but I asked her about the area a bit). I would highly recommend staying here!

Charlottesville horse country

We love our stay. Cabell Cottage was beautiful, upscale and very comfortable for our college drop offs in Virginia!! It was as nice as the photos and the Master suite with the private screened porch was wonderful, and the bonus TV room was great too. The entire process was easy too. I highly recommend and hope to return!!

So happy to have found this charming cottage in a quiet neighborhood close to historical places, wineries, restaurants, shopping and nature. It was nice to come back after a full day visiting Monticello and Montpelier. We were able to relax and enjoy a good meal at home. We will definitely come back!
