Overall a wonderful weekend with the family. Location is great. The unit fit our needs. I would definitely stay again. I would suggest updating the available amenities. We were looking forward to the sauna, workout room and pool table. But, these activities are no longer available.
This was a lovely quiet area with plenty of room at the cabin. The owners were extremely responsive when we had an issue. Only issues we had which might change the packing list for future guests; there were no cutting boards so i had to cut on a plate, no coffee filters for the coffee maker and none of the pans were nonstick. Otherwise it was great. I would recommend
We had a family of 14, 8 adults, 6 kids and 2 dogs. Plenty of room for all. Bunk room worked well for grandkids. Very clean. Gave 4 only because it could use a little upgrading. Would definitely stay again.
We truly enjoyed this facility. Plenty of room for our family of 12 with easy assess to everything. Hot water heater went out on the last night of our stay. Maintenance came right out at 10:00 pm; relite the hot water heater but it went out again so we didn't have hot water next morning. We were leaving anyway so we called again and reported it to management. Would book again.
The house is very poorly insulated, the hot tub doesnât heat up, the toilets have to be held down for 10 counts to flush, the hot water heater doesnât accommodate the capacity of the home and to top it off if it snows you will be stuck or wreck trying to leave. We watched 4 vehicles wreck trying to go down the hill to get out. I contacted the host to ask about clearing the roads and explained that we had over $2000 worth of activities planned for that day and were stuck there. They told me it was out of their hands and offered nothing in compensation. So upkeep of their property is out of their hands. The roads should have been cleared seeing that they are used to this type of weather and most likely tourists who are staying in their rentals are not. Not to mention our code was cancelled at 8 am the day of checkout and checkout time was 10am. So if you want to plan a trip and waste money stay here if not find somewhere else.
The only thing I did not like was all the pots and pans were stainless steel it was hard to cook in them because everything kept sticking, non-stick pots and pans would be a whole lot better
The cottage was very nice but a little small for us. Bunk beds is not a good option for adults. Some slept on the couch instead. The location was great. Near lots of great attractions.
The property was very pretty and well suited for our needs. It was quite clean except for the pots and pans, which had to be washed before use. The religious decor was a little overbearing. And. unfortunately, there were very few instructions on how things worked -- the security system, the wifi, the television, etc. I have stayed at many VRBO properties in this country and others, and usually there is a notebook or posted signs with information about how things work. We had to call the management twice in three days for information. One of the students accidentally unplugged the wifi (it was not clearly marked) so the security alarm beeped ALL NIGHT. There also were literally NO supplies -- no condiments, no salt and pepper, no coffee or even coffee filters. Guests who stay only a few days do not want to buy all of these things for a short stay!
Excellent Location! Cabin could use some new stuff. Living room couch pleather peeling off badly, rug super dirty. Bedroom mattresses are super uncomfortable. All these things could be easily replaced and wouldnât cost much and would take this property super nice.
My best friends and I did a girls trip. This property was great for what we needed. Close to downtown and close to Gatlinburg. Good location to get to hiking trails as well. The house had all the essentials in the kitchen for us to be able to cook and prepare our meals.
Great location! Felt private, but close to everywhere we wanted to visit. House was very clean. Queen beds in downstairs bedroom were very uncomfortable. One couch was completely shredded, and if we sat on it, we got little pieces of pleather stuck to us. Kitchen well equipped, but not enough dishwasher tabs or garbage bags, and no laundry detergent. The grocery store isn't super close, so it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. Communication was great. We had 3 vehicles, and there was plenty of parking.
Unit 11 comfortably fit our large group! Location was perfect for traveling to all of our planned activities. Great to have access to a pool on the hot days and a nice hot tub for cooler evenings. Would definitely look into renting this property again if we are lucky enough to get back to Pigeon Forge!
Pros:
* Less than 3 miles from Dollywood, but secluded and cabin is close to many other attractions.
* 4 bunk beds in a room (8 kids or young adults), 2 rooms with each having a King Bed, 1 room with 2 Beds (Queens I believe), pullout couch bed (didn't need for us).
* 3 baths (Awesome),
* Hot tub, refrigerator, washer, dryer, toaster, microwave, multiple TVs, 2 outdoor rocking chairs
* Little doggie friendly
* Parking available for 3 to 4 vehicles
* Clean accommodations
Cons
* Steep hill to drive to Cabin.
* Difficult to see where turn is at night time.

Community firepit - didn't have time to do that. We were extremely busy with everything thing else.
Some things to do near this Cabin
Anakeesta - Skylift and Skybridge, Dollywood, Multiple Ripley's things to do - do a 3 pack and save, Stampede or other shows, Magic shows or comedy shows, shine or wine samples/tasting, walk the main strip in Gatlinburg to shop, a lot of food places, but make reservations early for food.
