Wish we would have been warned it was a building maintenance week. Constant loud noise during the daytime hours. A rebate for this would be nice.Everything else was good. Thanks.

Average place to stay

Most importantly, the unit was very clean! Amenities were great. Kitchen had anything needed although we didn’t cook. It was nice to have a small dish soap, hand soap, a few dishwasher tabs, sponge, paper towels, dish towels, and sufficient bath towels!! The updates were very nice. The master bed was comfortable! The decor was lacking, but did not take away from our stay. We’d suggest investing in newer sofa/loveseat, fresh paint, and a lounger for balcony. Overall, our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Quick family get away

Great location, walking distance to Cotton's, Walgreens and even Publix. Beautiful views! Only complaint is living room curtain sheet/ see through and spout of coffee pot broken. Did not stop us from drinking coffee..

Great condo but no kids allowed in hot tub

The condo was very nice. It was very spacious and had all you needed to cook. The view was great and access to the beach was easy. My only complaint was you had to be 16 or older to get in the hot tub. We went in April when it was still chilly and when I searched for places I made sure it had a hot tub. Once we got there my kids couldn’t use it because they were all under 16. It was disappointing. Other than that it was a great stay.

Perfect Location!

A very spacious condo that had everything we needed. We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. The 2nd bedroom was big enough for them to share, which was nice. The master suite has a beachside window and a sliding door to the balcony. Lots of reviews are mentioning the outdated decor - who cares? The beds are comfy, the view is breathtaking, and the elevator is speedy. Will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

Fun trip

Loved the location. Convenient to stores, restaurants, etc. The view of the ocean was perfect. The beds were so comfy. I definitely hope to go back.

Anniversary vacation

Can’t wait to go back!

We LOVED our time here! This was our first-ever family vacation. Travelers were myself, my husband, and our two young kids (3&1). Summerchase pros: The location of this building cannot be beat. You’re so close to the shopping centers! We’ve stayed further east before and it makes running to the store such a chore with traffic. The building is a bit dated, but the pools are clean and nice. Elevators were quick. The outdoor shower heads and hoses are nice when leaving the beach (especially for my sandy little nuggets). Summerchase cons: Traffic noises are sort of loud due to that prime location — and I’d imagine in the height of summer it would be much louder. Parking lot is tight, and I’d imagine parking my husband’s truck would be difficult when it’s full. Unit 502 pros: We loved it! The view is impossible to beat. Beds/linens were clean, and the overall unit was pretty clean. The kitchen is VERY well stocked, although it desperately needs some organization. AC worked great, shower pressure was wonderful, and I LOVED the master bath shower. There was a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, plus a small bottle of dishwashing soap, sponge, laundry tab, and dishwasher tab provided in the kitchen — which was a nice touch, as many condos don’t even provide this. Checking in could not have been easier — they text the door code to you when it’s ready. Unit 502 cons: The floors were a bit dirty upon arrival. The kids are little country bumpkins and immediately kicked their shoes off — within ten minutes we noticed their feet were completely black. I understand keeping the floors spotless is impossible at the beach, but I was a bit surprised to see how dirty they got so quick. It honestly didn’t really bother me (boy mom) but it’s worth mentioning since the owners undoubtedly pay good money for a cleaning service. The dishwasher seems to be wheezing along, and the toilets (after flushing) run with a high pitched sound for a strangely long time. VERY minor cons in my opinion! Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. We loved staying here and look forward to booking it again next summer!

A great stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely trip to OBA and our stay in 402 was vey comfortable. It was clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare simple meals. It was a bit small but that wasn’t an issue unless more than one person was in the space. The decor was outdated but who is really coming to OBA for the decor?! But the kids loved the sofa/loveseat because of the fish, etc. So, that made it fun. The access to the pools, beach etc was easy and convenient. Parking was tight but not too bad.The property’s location was also very convenient to shopping and restaurants, but it also felt more secluded and quiet being at the end of the main strip. Can’t wait to come back to OBA and stay at Summerchase.

Stay was OK

Location is good. Floors in condo were dirty. Our feet were black on the bottom after walking barefoot. We called to have them cleaned but it didn’t help. Also no hand/body soap in condo. So after 7 hrs of travel- hadto go buy soap right away to wash hands/face. If you rent an umbrella and chairs on the beach- other people set their umbrellas and chairs up in front of you which is aggravating when you pay $130 for an umbrella and two chairs for 4 days and then your view of the ocean is blocked and you have to walk around everything to get to the water. First time we’ve stayed at an oceanfront condo that’s been allowed. But we did enjoy ourselves and would return to the area, we would just stay elsewhere.
