Un charmant chalet vintage et une escapade.
Les chiens sont les bienvenus (ils apprécieront la cour clôturée) et à 10 minutes à pied de la plage Nord via l'avenue Solomon. WiFi gratuit, salon de jardin. Le 2e étage est l'aire de jeux et la chambre idéales pour les enfants. Plein d'art original merveilleux et de touches uniques.
North Campbell est à côté du 80E Gastro Pub et de la location de voiturettes de golf. L'historique Tybee Guard House - idéal pour les mariages et les occasions spéciales - est à 1 pâté de maisons, tout comme JC Park pour les enfants! Le phare et le musée Tybee sont également une promenade facile.
Veuillez noter que l'emplacement est résidentiel, mais étant si proche des restaurants et du quartier des affaires de North End, cela signifie également que pendant les week-ends et les semaines d'été occupés, vous êtes plus proche de la circulation et du bruit. Si vous cherchez un endroit extrêmement calme, ce n'est pas l'endroit. Si vous cherchez à être plus au cœur de l'activité et à proximité des restaurants et services, alors c'est l'endroit qu'il vous faut! We love Mermaid Cottages!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In anticipation of a long awaited vacation to our favorite happy place we contacted a rental company we had used multiple times previously and did NOT even get a call back. We reached out to Mermaid Cottages. MC was wonderful to work with—eager to work with our time frame and budget. They found a perfect cottage for us! A lovely, quaint, and charming cottage with all of the everyday conveniences. Great communication from the start keeping us in the loop—they even called us to say the house was ready prior to the normal check-in! Their attention to detail is beyond measure...they left a thoughtful, handwritten note and gift in celebration of a recent retirement! MC was quick to respond to a very small glitch (coffee maker would not work)—a new one was delivered to the house quickly! We are already planning our next stay and will DEFINITELY have MC find the perfect cottage for us again. MC treated us like family and made our stay feel like home! We LOVE Mermaid Cottages!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely well kept! Super super clean Everything working great. Ac was wonderful and plenty of hot water loved the fridge. They supply you with perc coffee and it is superb I bought two bags at the sisters nearby gift shop there is a convenience store gas station and a nice breakfast place next to that called Dawgs. The crepes are outstanding. It’s also a nice bar and had live music Thursday night. Happy hour the drinks are like half price 4 to 7. Very convenient to everything Pet friendly. My boy Poochie approved lol

Property manager made everything satisfactory

The property was clean and management was very responsive and quick to fix issues. It allowed for space for a small family and the kitchen and bedrooms were well equipped. Location was great, but could be loud at times. I do not recommend this cottage and regret booking it, but mermaid cottages as a company greatly owned up to any challenges we had. The cottage appears to have water damage from previous reviews and on observation of ceiling and walls. It had a strong humid and earthy/musty smell, which made it an uncomfortable stay for us due to breathing issues. We were transferred to another cottage as soon as possible based on shared concerns that was perfect and met all expectations! I wish we had booked that one instead. It was clean, decor was cozy and bright, lots of light and backyard space and it made you want to stay there as long as possible. It was called sea casa and I greatly recommend that cottage and mermaid cottages as a company. I hope they continue to work and improve all their cottages the same to make it a widespread experience for everyone.

Mini vacation

Roses’s Follie was a nice home and it accommodated us three women and our small dog perfectly. Even though it is located on a busy street, it did not bother us. The beach is within walking distance, and we had two beautiful days to spend at the beach. The fenced yard was convenient for our dog. We did not cook during our stay, but the kitchen is stocked well for those that like to cook during their vacation. Communication with the management company was very easy, and they checked in via text a couple of times during our stay. We enjoyed our stay.

Blissful Summer Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was wonderful! The overall air conditioning was great with a brand new kitchen and very clean and homey ambiance. We enjoyed the house and its location greatly as it was a 10 minute walk to the lighthouse and north beach shoppes and around the corner from a good restaurant - Cockspur Grill (named after the old lighthouse in the Savannah river). Tammy was very attentive and helpful and made sure everything was to our liking.

Great Rental Company

The mermaids were very helpful. They reached out to me when my initial house became unavailable due to plumbing issues and quickly provided options for a new house we could rent for the same weekend. The mermaids also checked in through text during the stay as well to ensure our stay was comfortable.

Quaint and Quirky

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have enjoyed Rose's for 2 years now. It does have a homey feel to it and the kitchen remodel is lovely. The beds are comfortable. The decor is strange and for a rental. Some of the paintings are dark and dreary and the religious decor doesn't fit the quaintness of this cottage. We are people that love fresh air and the windows do not open. The living room furniture has covers on them and are always in shambles. There is attic space and another bathroom upstairs which would add to the quaintness of the cottage however it is locked and not useable. Deck off the kitchen could use an update as well. We have made Rose's our home away from home for a few years. We hope that others enjoy the quaint but quirkiness of Rose's Folie.

Charming

The cottage was cute and comfortable for my family of three and our dog - who enjoyed the enclosed yard and nearby park. A bit drafty but who knew Tybee would have its coldest temps in decades during our stay? Close enough to the beach and near some great restaurants (Chamacos or Huc-a-Poos, anyone?). Would recommend for those who enjoy charming character in their vacation rentals. Diane and staff were great and even offered an extra day for free. Would rent again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Quaint cute cottage but had hazard steps to second floor so we had to move mattress down on first floor so we wouldn’t fall down steps. Close to everything! But noisy road to sleep. Cottage was accommodating and Tammy was very attentive.

A week away

We absolutely loved our time here! It was a short 3-minute bike ride from the beach, so we were there constantly! The house is cute, and the property managers were excellent. We will definitely be back!

Nice cottage in good location

This cottage had everything we needed for a great weekend! The downstairs bedrooms were very comfortable. I suggested they add a light near the key holder to make it easier for late checking to find.

Charming Home, Great Location!

We spent a weekend in Tybee for our annual fossil shark's tooth hunt, and this house was perfect! It was very clean and welcoming, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. As advertised, the house is on a main road and there is quite a bit of traffic that comes by, but it was easy to get in and out of the driveway, and at night people were very respectful of noise levels. It seemed a little quieter than the other side of the island, and I loved being so close to the lighthouse and checking out the historical district. We definitely enjoyed staying here and would stay here again!

Great beach cottage with an incredible personality!

We enjoyed our time at Rosie’s Follie! Very friendly staff at the Mermaid cottages with personalized touches such as dropping off beach toys with a welcome note for our 2 year old granddaughter, such a sweet touch! The North area the house is located on was the perfect side to be steeped with history and peaceful moments without all the hustle of the crowds from the south side . This cottage is welcoming and has fun and eclectic art finishes that stir up the imagination . A beautiful piece of history to experience on Tybee Island, highly recommend!

Awesome getaway

My girlfriend and I were looking for a little weekend getaway and stumbled across Ed this listing on VRBO. We both knew right away that this was the place we wanted stay. Check in was easy, the communication with the rental staff was excellent and they were always there to answer any questions. Not too far from beach access. Would definitely recommend!

Great Stay

House was great for our family with 3 kids under 5. Close proximity to everything, and very walkable to the beach, local playground, light house, marine science center etc. Will consider staying here again in the future.
