Ce merveilleux chalet au rez-de-chaussée se trouve juste sur "Mermaid Cottages Corner" - directement à côté de Nora et de l'autre côté de la rue de Basking Under the Tybee Sun GRAND POUR DES FAMILLES MULTIPLES!

Cette maison familiale dispose de 2 suites MASTER avec lits KING et de leurs salles de bain complètes. Les téléviseurs dans chaque chambre et le salon disposent d'un téléviseur à écran plat de 42 ".
Animaux domestiques (note - pas de cour clôturée). Cour arrière et chantiers pour jouer, manger et se détendre dans des chaises à bascule et des sièges extérieurs. Gril à charbon de bois et cuisine entièrement équipée.

Wonderful stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay . It was in perfect location and short walk to the beach. It was very clean and roomy. We enjoyed the house as well as the backyard it was private. We was very pleased with our stay and will be returning in the future. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Fall Break Stay at Mermaid

Overall it was a great stay! We really liked it on Tybee and in Savannah. Check in and out was easiest we have ever done. Only negative thing we could mention was the cleanliness of one of the bedrooms, but overall it did not take away from our stay. Thank you!

Mermaid House

The mermaid house had everything we needed for a family getaway. A block from the beach, easy to walk and easy to drive. Beds were cozy and everything was clean. We could have used some extra blankets since it was a chilly weekend.

Great beach house for our group!

This is a great house for a visit to Tybee Island and beach! The listing was accurate and house well maintained and stocked with sheets, towels, and blankets. The washer and dryer are in a room accessible from the side porch, so don't panic when you can't find it. Lots of room inside and out and a short walk to the beach!

Fun, relaxing, perfect house and location!

My group of old high school friends decided to celebrate everyone's 30th birthday this year, and we had a blast staying here! Had EVERYTHING we needed and was spacious enough for the whole group! 5/5 stars!!! :)

Mermaids Tale

The layout was perfect for us. We went as a family of 2 grandparents, 4 adults with 3 children ages 2 to 8. The kids bedroom connected to the parents bedroom which worked great for us with the 3 bathrooms.

Tybee Island Trip

Nice property but not very well lit in kitchen. Not very clean nor any supplies provided to clean ourselves. Beds were very uncomfortable, all adults needed to use back massager. Check in process was very complicated and location to pick up key had wrong address. Check in person was very rude.

problems

everything was nice, except the front door lock was difficult to manage. It only locked once on its own. the house needed a vacuum the broom was not adequate.

Great Location

The house was located just a couple blocks from the beach, close to restaurants and the IGA store, and very close to a park. We had my parents and our family of 4–2 kids aged 2.5 and 4.5. We were able to walk to the beach and the park which was great because Tybee Island requires you to pay for parking EVERYWHERE. The house is a little older, but the rooms were large and the house had everything we needed. I would caution staying with kids under 5-there are quite a few breakable things that required very close attention. For example, a glass coffee table whose glass is not attached to the stand underneath it. The check in process was very easy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the house worked great for our family.

Relaxing stay

Overall it was a good rental. The property shows it's age. A few things could use repairs such as the ceiling vent in the bunk bed room, some of the trim to throughout the house showed decay, some damaged floor tiles. Could not figure out how to get the remotes to work in a couple of the bedrooms. Otherwise it was very roomy. There was a limited number of non breakable dishes and cups so we ended up buying paper plates, plastic cups, napkins, paper towels, etc. Close to the beach. Easy walk each day so we didn't have to pay for parking. Would consider it again if vacationing on Tybee Island.

Family Getaway

Just a simple quick getaway. I’m starting a new job next week. My Dad has Parkinson’s Dementia and my Mom is his caregiver. We needed just a simple getaway. Haven’t seen a beach in quite some time and I love Tybee. Found this cute little place for a cute little price and it fit our timeline exactly! Definitely an old fashion type of place so don’t expect any new amenities. Anything you need to plug in in the bedrooms is by extension cord only. TV’s in bedrooms are very tiny I just used my laptop to watch movies. Other than that it’s a great location. We still drove to the beach for convenience, we just didn’t want to walk the almost 3.5 blocks and then the long boardwalk to the beach and back. But the house is very close to a small grocery store and multiple restaurants.

We had 6 people in the home. 2 adults, 3 teens, a pre teen & a dog. We spent from Sunday to Friday. Over all it was a good experience and everything was as expected. I have been using rental vacation homes for years and this was one of the normal ones. It feels like you are staying at a friend’s house. We did not see a single bug inside the home while we were there and that is a huge deal being at the beach. The beds were comfortable and very clean. The house is fairly clean and furniture was nice. The main bathroom really needs work. The sink was very slow to drain, a plumber had to come out to help with a bathtub drain clog on check-in day. There is also rotten wood, on the floor next to the tub. It just needs help. I wish there had been a few more towels, with 6 people taking a shower daily, they went quick. Having my dog with us was wonderful and I am thankful for that. There is lots of seating outside but there is also a ton a mosquitos, if you are sensitive to them. Probably not much the homeowners can do about that. The plants and yard things were quite overgrown and really needed a good trim. There were a few sand toys and a nice size cart you could pull down to the beach, we didn’t use either of them. Would have been nice if they offered beach towels to use or for rent. Over all it is everything they showed/said it would be.

Couples Weekend

It was a nice property. Perfect for 3 couples, maybe 4 if you don't mind sharing bathrooms. It was a smaller house but we spent most of our time at beach and in Savannah so was perfect for us. Would stay again for a short weekend. Would probably look for something a little bigger if bringing kids or staying longer

Perfect location -walking distance to Beach access

A cute little home within a nice neighborhood a short walking distance to the beach as well as a community playground and park for the children. A perfect family home for a beach vacation Kitchen was well furnished. I would say only minor recommendations which would include slightly better quality toilet paper and trash bags, otherwise perfect fit

The home was ok. Loved that it had 2 master suites. The housekeeping needed to be better. The hallway bath tub had a dirty towel and use bar of soap in it. I moved some of the throw rugs and I think they had not been moved in quite some time. The floors were really not clean. They all needed a good sweep and mop. I had to take care of most of this myself as it was a Christmas Eve when we checked in.
