Situé directement derrière Officer's Row historique (John Mellancamp est notre voisin!), cette partie calme de Tybee est proche du phare et North Beach.
Au rez-de-chaussée, cour clôturée, hauts plafonds et très grandes fenêtres laissant entrer beaucoup de lumière naturelle. Cette maison a été entièrement redécorée et conçue. Le chalet offre maintenant 2 salles de bain complètes et un "WC supplémentaire"!
Plein d'art des artistes locaux et des trouvailles vintage, des meubles confortables et le meilleur de tout le très grand porche filtré avec des chaises à bascule. Vraiment un charmeur du sud d'une maison! Cette maison est une maison historique, et le propriétaire a ajouté une salle de bain complète supplémentaire pour un total de 2 1/2 salles de bains! Encore une autre caractéristique unique de notre maison! C'est la moitié du duplex avec le mess des hommes enrôlés de l'autre côté. Les deux côtés sont calmes et ont des entrées privées / séparées. Besoin d'espace pour une grande famille? Louez les deux côtés!

The Perfect Getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All I can say is: WOW. Not only did this place feel like a home away from home but mermaid rentals went above and beyond in their communications- they are incredibly friendly, warm and inviting which is so welcoming after a big day of travelling. The rental was spectacular, cozy, bright and FULL of character, the decorating really made it feel like a relaxed vacation and the walk to the beach was very short. I could truly go on and on about our incredible experience here, but I’ll leave it at saying it’s the type of place and experience you’ll tell people about, you’ll have wonderful memories and you’ll be just waiting to book the next time around. Thank you to Mermaid Cottages for truly making this rental a phenomenal experience. We’ll be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just finished our sixth vacation at Screened Inn. Since our first visit, this is our preferred vacation getaway. It's a cute property on the north side of the island, which we prefer because it is quiet and peaceful, but only a few minutes' walk to the North beach. It is always spotless. And it is very spacious. The interior is exactly like the pictures in the listing. Really cute. The Mermaids are friendly, accommodating and responsive. We are already planning to be back sometime in November-December and again in March.

We have stayed in multiple cottages over the course of seventeen years. The historic charm and location are unmatched. We love to take full advantage of Ft. Screven and enjoy walking, biking, and Pickleball. Beach access is quick and easy. This cottage feels like our home away from home. We look forward to returning often😊

Another Wonderful Year!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to this charming cottage (both this side and Mess Hall) for our annual girls trip for four years. We adore it! Every time we see something we hadn’t noticed before. Lots of thought has gone into the furnishings. Tammy has always been amazing! She always makes us feel special. She quickly answers our questions and helps us out. The cottage is within a short walk five minute to North Beach. It’s always spotless. We love sitting on the front porch and relaxing before and after a day at the beach. Truly a magical home away from home! We have our reservations for next year and can’t wait to return.

Delightful beach experience!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First time to Tybee! Variable March weather offered surprises daily, from warm and sunny to chilly wild windy waves! Screened In was the perfect quiet retreat for the 2 of us-close enough for a quick walk to welcome sunrises every day and drive to sunsets each evening. More space than necessary for 2 but such pleasant inviting rooms and porch! Can’t wait to return. Thanks, Tammy, for your quick responses to my many questions!

Tybee Bucket List Trip

This year we decided to check an item off our Bucket list, and stay for a month. The things we always enjoy about this cottage: quiet family oriented North End location, large screened porch, and walking distance to the beach. We are an older couple, and enjoy the cottage furnishings & atmosphere that remind us of decades ago. The Mermaid Staff are always friendly and accommodating. We will be back.

We were impressed by the service of the Mermaids and the perfect location of the cottage. We loved walking through the “secret passage “ to the beach each day. We loved watching the summer storms from the front porch. Great linens, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and furnishings and a super outdoor shower. We hope to come back next summer.

Love This Cottage!

This is the first year we stayed on this side of the cottage because we increased our party and needed a larger place. Screened Inn didn’t disappoint! It’s so charming, filled with everything you need. We loved spending time on the beautiful screened porch in the evenings. Tammy and Diane were amazing as they always are. We can’t wait to return next year! So close to North Beach, my favorite part of Tybee.

Crazy about The Screened Inn!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was one of four high school classmates from the Class of 1976!!! We absolutely loved our time at the Screened Inn. It is such cozy cottage and the outdoor shower was a bonus! Lots of stories were shared on the Screened Porch. It was simply perfect for us. Would highly recommend this property!!! PS. I loved the music upon arrival. Very nice touch!!! The only suggestion I would make is to provide beach chairs. Packing beach chairs takes up a lot of space when traveling.
