 Situé directement derriÚre Officer's Row historique (John Mellancamp est notre voisin!), cette partie calme de Tybee est proche du phare et North Beach.
Au rez-de-chaussĂ©e, cour clĂŽturĂ©e, hauts plafonds et trĂšs grandes fenĂȘtres laissant entrer beaucoup de lumiĂšre naturelle. Cette maison a Ă©tĂ© entiĂšrement redĂ©corĂ©e et conçue. Le chalet offre maintenant 2 salles de bain complĂštes et un "WC supplĂ©mentaire"!
Plein d'art des artistes locaux et des trouvailles vintage, des meubles confortables et le meilleur de tout le trÚs grand porche filtré avec des chaises à bascule. Vraiment un charmeur du sud d'une maison! Cette maison est une maison historique, et le propriétaire a ajouté une salle de bain complÚte supplémentaire pour un total de 2 1/2 salles de bains! Encore une autre caractéristique unique de notre maison! C'est la moitié du duplex avec le mess des hommes enrÎlés de l'autre cÎté. Les deux cÎtés sont calmes et ont des entrées privées / séparées. Besoin d'espace pour une grande famille? Louez les deux cÎtés!

I have two small dogs and they had a blast in the fenced in yard and the screened porch for some sun bathing. The rental company was beyond exceptional. They checked in on us and communicated with being bothersome. The location is so close to the beach, the lighthouse, great places to eat. We walked to several places and we rented bikes because everything is so close. We have an electric car and there is a fast charger just around the corner. We drove to Savannah several days, it’s only 20 minutes away and there is so much to do and see. I can’t say enough about how impressed I was with the hosts. Also, when we left , Tammy reached out to let me know we had left something behind so we could arrange to get it back. Just wonderful ladies. I will definitely be recommending this spot to others and I will also be back in the future. Thank you mermaids for making my stay so easy and really going out of your way for us. I truly appreciate it. Your wonderful.

Not only did this place feel like a home away from home but mermaid rentals went above and beyond in their communications- they are incredibly friendly, warm and inviting which is so welcoming after a big day of travelling. The rental was spectacular, cozy, bright and FULL of character, the decorating really made it feel like a relaxed vacation and the walk to the beach was very short. I could truly go on and on about our incredible experience here, but I’ll leave it at saying it’s the type of place and experience you’ll tell people about, you’ll have wonderful memories and you’ll be just waiting to book the next time around. Every time we see something we hadn’t noticed before. Lots of thought has gone into the furnishings. Tammy has always been amazing! She always makes us feel special. She quickly answers our questions and helps us out. The cottage is within a short walk five minute to North Beach. It’s always spotless. We love sitting on the front porch and relaxing before and after a day at the beach. Truly a magical home away from home! We have our reservations for next year and can’t wait to return.

This year we decided to check an item off our Bucket list, and stay for a month. The things we always enjoy about this cottage: quiet family oriented North End location, large screened porch, and walking distance to the beach. We are an older couple, and enjoy the cottage furnishings & atmosphere that remind us of decades ago. The Mermaid Staff are always friendly and accommodating. We will be back.

Quite and Restful

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've been bringing my family here every summer for over 10 years. We always stay at the Screened Inn with Mermaid Cottages. Its been great every time. The street is quiet and the beach usually not very crowded.
