Situé directement derrière Officer's Row historique (John Mellancamp est notre voisin!), cette partie calme de Tybee est proche du phare et North Beach.
Au rez-de-chaussée, cour clôturée, hauts plafonds et très grandes fenêtres laissant entrer beaucoup de lumière naturelle. Cette maison a été entièrement redécorée et conçue. Le chalet offre maintenant 2 salles de bain complètes et un "WC supplémentaire"!
Plein d'art des artistes locaux et des trouvailles vintage, des meubles confortables et le meilleur de tout le très grand porche filtré avec des chaises à bascule. Vraiment un charmeur du sud d'une maison! Cette maison est une maison historique, et le propriétaire a ajouté une salle de bain complète supplémentaire pour un total de 2 1/2 salles de bains! Encore une autre caractéristique unique de notre maison! C'est la moitié du duplex avec le mess des hommes enrôlés de l'autre côté. Les deux côtés sont calmes et ont des entrées privées / séparées. Besoin d'espace pour une grande famille? Louez les deux côtés!
Stationnement hors rue gratuit pour 2 voitures.

Perfect stay for a relaxing gals weekend. The house was impeccably clean and the beds so comfy (and I am picky about beds!). Amazing beach access. Will come again!

Another great stay at Screened Inn

We knew this would also be a great chance to bring along the family dog as well after we stayed with Mermaid Cottages at this location Teo years ago. Perfect size and layout for our three boys and us. Great location as a quick walk from the least crowded parts of the beach on the north end of Tybee. You will love it.

The Perfect Getaway!

Not only did this place feel like a home away from home but mermaid rentals went above and beyond in their communications- they are incredibly friendly, warm and inviting which is so welcoming after a big day of travelling. The rental was spectacular, cozy, bright and FULL of character, the decorating really made it feel like a relaxed vacation and the walk to the beach was very short. I could truly go on and on about our incredible experience here, but I’ll leave it at saying it’s the type of place and experience you’ll tell people about, you’ll have wonderful memories and you’ll be just waiting to book the next time around. Thank you to Mermaid Cottages for truly making this rental a phenomenal experience. We’ll be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just finished our sixth vacation at Screened Inn. Since our first visit, this is our preferred vacation getaway. It's a cute property on the north side of the island, which we prefer because it is quiet and peaceful, but only a few minutes' walk to the North beach. It is always spotless. And it is very spacious. The interior is exactly like the pictures in the listing. Really cute. The Mermaids are friendly, accommodating and responsive. We are already planning to be back sometime in November-December and again in March.

charming and relaxing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great property. The rooms were all much bigger than they looked in the pictures. The screen porch and small fenced-in yard are wonderful. Lots of shade from old live oaks. VERY convenient to trail around nearby Jaycee Park and easy access to the beach. The floor pan and room locations are a *little* quirky but actually worked very well for us (we were there with our two small children, and, alternately, my wife's parents and a friend with her child). Lighthouse and the very tasty North Beach Bar & Grill were within easy walking distance. Nice, quiet neighborhood and street. Also, the staff at Mermaid Cottages were very friendly and helpful. We loved Tybee and hope to return next summer!

Wonderful and relaxing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect getaway experience for us. This house is charming and tucked away. I have two small dogs and they had a blast in the fenced in yard and the screened porch for some sun bathing. The rental company was beyond exceptional. They checked in on us and communicated with being bothersome. The location is so close to the beach, the lighthouse, great places to eat. We walked to several places and we rented bikes because everything is so close. We have an electric car and there is a fast charger just around the corner. We drove to Savannah several days, it’s only 20 minutes away and there is so much to do and see. I can’t say enough about how impressed I was with the hosts. Also, when we left , Tammy reached out to let me know we had left something behind so we could arrange to get it back. Just wonderful ladies. I will definitely be recommending this spot to others and I will also be back in the future. Thank you mermaids for making my stay so easy and really going out of your way for us. I truly appreciate it. Your wonderful.
