Popular three bedroom with beachfront view! You’ll love relaxing at this vacation home located in the heart of Crystal Beach. The spacious living/dining area has a large flat screen HDTV for movie night or just kick back on the comfortable furnishings and take in the beautiful Gulf views. The large kitchen has plenty of cooking and prep space so it’s easy to prepare plenty of fresh seafood for your family and friends. With a dining table and extra seating at the bar everyone can enjoy meals together. There is an amazing deck that is perfect for late-night escapes or for enjoying your morning coffee. This house is a great place to relax with your friends and family, but you’ll probably want to spend most of your time on the beach since it’s only steps away!

Please note, Hurricane Ike forever changed the footprint of Bolivar Peninsula, therefore some homes listed as beachfront may have a lot and/or street in front of it. This is the result of the uncertainty following the storm where some property owners elected to participate in the government buy out of lots that fell in what later would be considered within the vegetation line established by the State of Texas and subsequently included as part of the public beach. Not all property owners participated. Those homes where the property in front of it are part of the buyout are considered beachfront even though to the east or west of it there may be a home closer to the beach.

This home was the perfect set up for us. We rented it to host the board of directors and spouses for an event that we were hosting for the weekend. It was a perfect distance to the set up on the beach, had all the little things needed to make it an easy stay. The house was very thoughtfully equipped (utensils, brooms, pot holders, linens/towels) and had everything we needed. Amazing porch and view. Loved the downstairs bathroom so that sand wasn't being constantly tracked in. Highly recommend this property and will hopefully be back to it soon!

Our oldest came for a visit from Boston and wanted to go to the beach for her son’s first Easter. The house was wonderful, the view was exceptional (better than the pictures). There was plenty of room for everyone and they even had a pack and play there for the baby. The linen service had everything we needed there including dishwasher and laundry pods! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and eating right there, we enjoyed breakfast every morning. The beach was so close and although what is out of our control (the weather) we had a wonderful trip and stay. We did call Cobb Real Estate a few times with questions and the phone was always answered and our questions answered very pleasantly, it was great to be able to get help so quickly each time! We will definitely be staying here again!

It’s a small 3 bedroom 2 bath with everything you need to relax and have a great time! The kitchen was fully stocked! It has a Weber grill for you to use. Washer/Dryer! The views from the deck were wonderful! Bring mosquito spray because some nights you couldn’t sit on the porch or walk the beach there was so many it was unbearable! That was the only negative! Definitely will be back!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was nice. Air was cold and the utilities worked well. The yard wasn't mowed. It was right in front of a shower house which was not mentioned in the listing and it was deceiving because also it stated the house was beachfront. The house was actually second row. The lady who checked me in at Cobb Real Estate was short and very snooty. Not a very friendly welcome. I did call about the yard and they stated it would be done but in the entire 6 days we stayed there -it never happened. They're were not sheets on all the beds and no pillow cases on several of the pillows. I didn't bother asking for more linens due to the attitude from the skinny dark haired lady at the check in at the real estate office and the fact that the yard was never mowed. Her coworker sitting to her right , next to the window was quaint and nice but she was not the person we dealt with. We drove over 3 hrs to get to this rental and expected better professionalism and I hope to never have to deal with this organization again. We rent a house every year at Crystal Beach and have been doing so for over 10 years. I was disappointed with the deception of the rental being beachfront, the attitude of the real estate personnel, and the lack of commitment to keeping the place pristine with the proper linens, yard work and we hope that the next stay we encounter is much better.

The beach itself was nice and not at all crowded especially during the week.A special shout out to the Cobb Real Estate team for the easy late arrival.We would definitely rent Parrot Head again!

They were right in front of the beach house and the noise and parking were annoying. And this was not shown in any of the photos we looked at before renting the house.
