Appartement de charme du 18ème siècle situé au coeur de la ville médiévale d'Avignon, à seulement 100 mètres du célèbre marché couvert "Les Halles" où vous pouvez trouver le meilleur des produits locaux.
Il est situé au 3° étage dans la zone piétonne d'Avignon (rue du Vieux Sextier) où vous trouverez d'excellents restaurants, cafés, magasins et à quelques pas du Palais des Papes, du célèbre pont d'Avignon sur le Rhône et de tous les autres monuments d'intérêt.
La gare centrale est à distance de marche ou vous pouvez prendre "la baladine" (véhicule électrique) qui vous dépose à la porte. Si vous arrivez en voiture, le parking "Les Halles" se situe juste au-dessus du marché couvert.
La chambre a un lit queen size très confortable (160 cm x 200 cm), beaucoup de rangements et une salle de douche.
Il y a aussi un canapé-lit pliant dans le salon pour 2 personnes avec un matelas de qualité supérieure. Un lit de bébé est également disponible.
Les grandes fenêtres de la pièce principale donnent sur la rue piétonne où vous pourrez observer les habitants et le vie locale.
Il y a une télévision, une connexion Wi-Fi très rapide et une chaîne hi-fi que vous pouvez connecter à votre téléphone / tablette.
La cuisine offre tous les équipements de cuisine dont vous aurez besoin
ainsi que d'un lave-vaisselle.

Avignon short stay

Charming apartment

Such a charming apartment in a great location near shops and restaurants. It’s in a historical building but very modern in the unit and comfortable. Claudie and Paul were very hospitable and gave us a great into to Avignon and were very responsive to our questions. Would love to go back again one day.

This is a great apartment and would work well for a family or couple. The location is great, right next to the Palace des Papes but not in the middle of everything so you feel like you have a break from the tourists. Very clean and well-stocked—these features are really important to us and we were not disappointed. Communication with Valerie and her assistant went really well and they are very nice and helpful. Avignon is a charming city and we loved our stay here.

Great intro to Avignon and Luberon

The location was great- just about everything was within reach of a brief walk. There were bakeries, shops and things to see and do nearby. The room has whatever we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay in Paul & Claudie's wonderful flat in Avignon. The flat is very well situated in the 'old' town and convenient for walking to so many wonderful sites, restaurants and shopping. The apartment itself is very large and bright with big windows that open onto a fun pedestrian street. It's well appointed with everything one needs for a good stay, a great kitchen, a comfortable bed & pull-out couch and a washing machine. Upon arrival, Claudie met us with lots of great information & maps which was very helpful. Paul & Claudie were very easy to communicate with and very acommodating. I am happy to recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a great stay in Avignon.

Excellent location in Avignon center

The hosts were extremely helpful and promptly replied to any questions I had. The apartment was a good size and had a great location. And it was very quiet (thanks to thick stone walls). The bed was very comfortable, as well. Would recommend to anyone who can manage luggage up 3 flights of stairs!

Best place to stay in Avignon

Paul and Claudie were the perfect hosts. Paul met us to show us the apartment and also came to say goodbye. The apartment was centrally located in the old city and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go.

Perfect Location

We had an awesome time in Avignon and being able return each night to this apartment made the stay even better. From the initial booking to the departure Paul and Claudie were there to answer questions and assist where they could. The apartment was clean and well stocked for our stay. It is centrally located and we found it surprisingly quiet. Thank you Paul and Claudie for being great hosts!!

Loved this place

If you’re okay with 3 flights of narrow stairs, this is a gem of an apt. We would love to come back and stay much longer. Beautiful apt with comfortable beds, great air conditioning, a simple kitchen, laundry and in the middle of the action. Walkable to anywhere in Avignon including the train station (15 min). Paul was so kind and easy to work with. We just loved it here!

Wonderful spot if you pack light

Place is in the middle of old Avignon. You need to know where you are going or will be lost. Our stay is on the 3rd floor with just stairs. It’s an effort with a big luggage. Other than that, a wonderful stay. Even forgot that our trip was ending.

Accommodations were just as described and we had everything required for a comfortable stay. Was great to have the market and parking a few steps away and the availability of so many restaurants. We did have a little bit of adventure when getting to the apartment. A recommendation would be to not to input Les Halles market as your destination until you enter by Thiers gate. Our GPS had us enter through another gate and it took us 25 minutes to get out of the maze of one ways and no entry streets. Little stressed at the time but looking back, quite funny. Just a warning that there are 42 steps on a winding staircase to the apartment. We felt it added to the authentic experience of the accommodations but not for those with mobility issues. Overall, we loved the area, the apartment and would return without hesitation. Thank you to our hosts!

Great location in Old Town Avignon

Our 4 nights in Avignon were made even better by the excellent location of the apartment in the heart of Avignon. All major sites are in easy walking distance as well supermarkets and the famous Les Halles market where you can find a wide assortment of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses etc. Apartment was comfortable for two and presentation was exactly as described. Paul was very helpful when we arrived and made sure that we made it to our early morning train to complete our wonderful Avignon stay. Would definitely stay again should we find ourselves once again in Avignon.

Avignon holiday

Everything about our stay in Jerusalem place Avignon was superb. The hosts were there to settle us in and to farewell us on our departure. Location could not have been better - a short walk to attractions, food market, shops etc and all around were trappings of the rich history of this city. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with ample supply of kitchen equipment, laundry etc with thoughtful additions like washing powder, oils, coffee etc. We cannot praise our hosts enough - they were kind, thoughtful and caring that our time here would be enjoyable. We’ll definitely stay here again when we next visit Avignon.

Lovely Apartment in Avignon

I highly recommend this apartment. The hosts, Paul and Claudie, were extremely helpful prior to our arrival and during our stay. They communicated promptly, helped with recommendations for our trip, and met us upon arrival. The apartment is clean and in a great location close to the Pope’s Palace and Les Halles market (both with parking). The AC was in the bedroom and worked well. The sofa bed was comfortable. Avignon felt safe and everything was walkable. It was also a great location to explore Provence. We can’t wait to return!

A Great Stay!

We stayed here for a week. The hosts met us at our arrival and took the time to explain how a few things worked, as well as give us great city maps! The apartment is spacious, clean, with a well-equipped kitchen. Its location is right in the middle of the historical centre of the city. We were very comfortable here, with all the necessities at our disposal, including the washing machine's detergent with a clothes drying rack!! It was wonderful to have such huge windows in the living area. It sits on the third floor of the building and the access to it is a steep and spiral staircase - a good daily workout. Recommended!

Hidden Gem

Avignon City Center apartment is an epitome of 5 ⭐️. Paul greeted us upon arrival and escorted us to the apartment. He was thorough, in explaining the details of the apartment, where to go, recommendations on places to eat. He went above and beyond in making us feel so welcomed after a long unexpected journey. Wow upon entering! The beams on the ceiling are stunning! Entire apartment was fresh & clean through a nurse’s eyes!! Perfectly located near the “things to do on our list”. Highly recommend a stay here when visiting Avignon .

Very nice apartment in a great location

We had a great stay in this apartment. The location is excellent, in the centre of Avignon on a pedestrian street. We parked our car at Les Halles a short walk away and left it there. We had great meals at the restaurants in the street directly below the apartment. They were much more enjoyable than the one meal we had at a high volume tourist restaurant in the Place de l'Horlage. We walked each morning to the market in Les Halles which was excellent, even though at least a quarter of the shops were closed for the month of August. The host was also very friendly and helpful and made sure the stay was pleasant and problem free.
