We passed one week in this place and I could say that it's fine. It's not really close to the sea (around 1h of driving), we were hoping that by looking at the publicity, especially if you can't drive like an Italian in those serpent-like roads. For mountain hikers, it's more appropriate.
For the house, it's a lovely nice house, but no security for kids or animals. Right next to it, you have steep rocks where you should be really careful. But the view is awesome, environment is quiet and you have proper parking lots. Inside the house, the room we took for three people is not really for three. One sleeping in the entrance of the room and it's not really comfortable. If you're two and a kid, that's ok. The room is big, nevertheless.
If you intend to go to Borzonasca, I'd say you should really get informed about the environment and think about what you want. And check the weather as well.
Contrary to the publicity, you pay more for services etc... But the owner tells you about that before. She's very lovely and available for the problems you may have.
