The house was perfect! The rooms were large yet cozy. The beds were comfy too. The only complaint I have is the pots and pans were not the greatest so we ate out more.
My whole family enjoyed this property! My son loved that we were just across the road from the river, and he spent quite a bit of his free time fishing. My daughter loved that she was able to have her own bedroom space and bathroom (huge plus for a preteen girl!). We loved the location as we were just a short walk or drive from anywhere se needed to go. Vivian was available for anything we needed for the duration of our stay. Highly recommend!
Beautiful view of the Indian River. The house is older but very inviting. The three bedrooms upstairs were very clean and lovely, with toys for the grandkids to play with in the bunkbed room. The bedroom downstairs was a bit challenging as the floor was very uneven. Had a quite a tilt to it. The dock across the street needs the steps repaired as a few were not secured very well. Need to update the picture of the dock as it showed a screened in port at the end of it which was no longer there. We basically needed a place to sleep and didn't spend a lot of time at the house. Overall it was a charming place to stay and served our purpose perfectly.
My family and I enjoyed staying at this beautiful old home with so much history and charm.
We loved the porches and especially the dock in the evenings where we saw a dolphin, a manatee and stingrays.
We loved it! Three generations and 10 people stayed here and enjoyed living in history! The house fit everybody comfortably and although over 100 years old has all the modern amenities. Vivian was a great host and always communicated promptly. The house has great views (donât miss the sunrises) and a great location (walking distance to Cocoa). The kids all want to go back and so do we.
We love old houses and Strong Haven is a nice place. Right on the Indian River it was a quiet, nice neighborhood. Just enough modern to be comfortable, and enough originality to be a fun stay. The front porch at sunrise is especially nice.
We loved it a total party of 7 with dinner guest of 15 one night and it was room for everyone comfortably for dinner. We all loved the view and loved the house we will definitely plan to do a stay again â€
It was a wonderful place to stay with lots of character. It was close to lots of activities too
We had a great time relaxing, enjoying the fish and dolphins in the river and local activities. The house was clean and comfortable and had so much character. We loved it. It was perfect for our weekend adventure
Beautiful property! Everything we could have wanted for a relaxing race weekend.
We were so pleased with our stay at Strong Haven. The house is beautiful and well kept with charming historic touches. Loved spending evenings on the porch overlooking the river. The dock was great and we were able to get some fantastic up close pictures of the dolphins playing in the water. Can't wait to stay again!
The house was perfect for our stay. The view of the Indian River from the front porch was amazing. The owners were very helpful. The house had everything you could possibly need.
As always Strong Haven is a delight. The original architectural details have been lovingly preserved and we had a perfect setup for the race. Looking forward to next year!
A wonderful house with character in a super location. 7 adults and 2 active 4-year olds enjoyed the house very much. Comfortable and the owner's attention to detail was most appreciated. Visited the beach, Kennedy Space Center (saw a launch!), the dinosaur store, and the nearby restaurants (walkable) in Cocoa. Super visit!
This property and the house are absolutely beautiful. Perfect location to walk around town. The Indian River Lagoon is AMAZING! Every morning we walked down and watched the dolphins.
My family and I absolutely loved this house, property and location.
This property has been a family home for several generations. The beauty of the area and breezes from the river always call one home and you cant help but feel blessed to be alive.
Swinging on the front porch while watching the many bikes and boats go by is always so enjoyable. The home is always a welcoming place to family and friends and a blessing to many. Memories are made here as new adventures are discovered.
