We stayed here for two nights ahead of our cruise and had a wonderful time! The renovated heritage house is darling inside; the pictures didnât do it justice. There was a coffee station for our morning coffee, and the house was well equipped with everything one might need. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and we all had a restful nightâs sleep. There was only one shower, and the water temperature/pressure was the only thing that wasnât perfect. Itâs an old house, though, so thatâs understandable. The neighborhood was a bit transitional with a mix of lovely and âneeds repair,â but it felt very safe. The street along the river in the northerly direction was wonderful for walking. It was a short walk to the quaint old town of Cocoa, which we visited for dinner (Bar Americana) and coffee (Ossorio). Both places are recommended!Thank you, Kelsy, for your hospitality!
We stayed at the house for a night before our cruise. It was perfect. It was enough space for two families to get ready in the morning without stumbling over each other. The home is beautiful and homey feeling!!
We had a family get together and wedding in Cocoa which was a great time had by all. We stayed in the " Charming Indian River Getaway" which was a prefect location near downtown and easy access to other locations like Merritt Island and Cocoa Beach. "This Old House" as referred to by the owner was quaint and well maintained, accommodated six adults very well. We loved the outside covered patio for family time. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed taking our morning walks on Indian River Drive and looking at the beautiful homes. If any of us are in the Cocoa area we will definitely be staying there again.
Nice location. Just as described. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Kitchen had what we needed. Loved you had a docking station with various charging cords. This we a welcomed and unique addition.
Great stay while we and our daughter, husband and grandchildren spent a few days at Kennedy Space Center. Would recommend to anyone looking for nice, clean, spacious place to stay. Thanks for the memories we made together.
Lovely, unique home. Nice appointed. Beautiful furniture and relaxing, comfortable bedding. Great outdoor areas, close to water. Fit 8 easily. So much space. Unfortunately, the coffee pot had been broken by the previous guests, so we had to buy pod accessories that we wouldn't normally use. I'm sure that's
We absolutely loved our stay. It was perfect for our family. We were in town to see family perform in a play and it was very close to everything we needed. Thank you for lovely stay.
We stayed here for literally a few hours before our cruise! Very warm and clean. It gave the feeling of your family house! The hosts communicated everything to do and it was simple. Only negative I have is they keep the air at 78, and the upstairs was very hot and didnât cool off! Even turning the air down! Other than that great property!
Great location in a charming house with unique attention to details for guests, such as designated charging station, some books and toys for kids. It very much felt like a home. We look forward to coming back and staying longer.
This place was nice and clean, character for days. The host was super awesome to deal with. Wish we had more time then just one evening prior to going on a cruise to enjoy this lovely place. You cant go wrong staying here, especially before a cruise, really close to Port Canaveral.
Hello, I am a stay at home mom raising three beautiful girls. My family and I moved to Florida in 2015 from Montana. It was quite a culture shock at first, however we have not missed scraping windshields. When we moved here we found a home that we absolutely fell in love with. It was built in 1938, the era of homes we love!! It had an apartment built above what used to be a 2 car garage, now storage. We were not too familiar with vacation rentals at the time, but we had a close friend running one in a mountain town in Montana. My husband asked to start running a vacation rental and I was a little hesitant at first, but jumped in with both feet. I have always loved meeting new people, making new friends, and love to have people feel at home. With all that being said, our little business has taken off and I couldn't be more elated! Come stay with us and just settle right in. 3r
