Cette propriété est située dans la section des bois du nord-ouest d'Easthampton à environ 1 3/4 miles du village sur Old Northwest Road. Il s'agit d'un design salin contemporain extrêmement lumineux et rénové avec piscine chauffée, air conditionné, appareils à gaz, câble haute vitesse, internet et téléphone sur un terrain boisé privé. Une plate-forme de 1200 'entoure la piscine, le pool house et la douche extérieure au niveau principal. La cuisine comprend une alcôve de petit-déjeuner. A lovely stay

A very nice house that has a well stocked kitchen with with a huge living area. The pool is very nice and spacious with 2 grills The master bedroom is extrenely large and the other 3 have plenty of room The House is located on a quiet road but very close to the main highway. A very nice stay

Home Base for Holidays

This property was just perfect. I was in town visiting relatives for the holidays and everyone was impressed with how lovely the space was. It was perfect for my small family, but could easily have hosted many more. Can only imagine how lovely it is in the summer time.

Our Vacation at 96 Old Northwest Road

The house was well located, the layout was good, and it was equipped with all the amenities that we could want. Ted the owner was very responsive. Once when we had a problem with the bathroom he sent over a handyman to fix it the same day. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful place to make lasting family memories

Our family had such a wonderful time at Ted and Ellen's home. When we were planning our vacation we wanted to find a place close to attractions but with enough amenities if the weather didn't cooperate (mid/late September vacation) and we got so, so lucky to find this place. Ted and Ellen's home is a massive private oasis that is close to everything. We were able to zip over to Sag Harbor, Greenport and Montauk on day trips and even spent time at the house in the heated pool and hot tub. Ted and Ellen were super responsive when we had questions and genuinely cared about our stay. We made family memories that will last a lifetime and could not be more thankful. Thanks, Ted and Ellen!

Hi Sal, I don't think I read your review last year. Thanks very much for the generous words. We would welcome your family back any time. Suffolk county has imposed a new 5.5% tax on bookings under 30 days which is tolerable but having a new quarterly tax filing with the county on top of the Federal and NY state filings to deal with we had to put a minimum stay of 30 days to avoid the new tax filing requirement. Great location to all the area has to offer

Family getaway. First time to The Hamptons. Location was super for access to East Hampton and Montauk. Grocery and necessities all nearby. Central air was great as was the heated pool and hit tub.

A home away from home !!

We had the most wonderful time at Ted and Ellen’s home who were most helpful with all our questions. Nestled in the woods. Close to the beach and to the village. Great location. A very neat clean home. Clean sheets and towels! Fully equipped kitchen. TV in every room so we never fought over remotes ! WiFi was also great so it was easy to work from there again ! Totally recommend this property! We would love to visit again in the summer when the pool is open.

Family get-away

We had a wonderful trip. The home is perfect for a family, very well appointed and bright and cheerful. Lots of space for our group of 7. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, fire-pit and grill. The backyard deck was a great spot to hang out. And we had beautiful walks on the nearby small beach (5min drive or less). The owners were very responsive. Lovely home.

Lovely hosts and spacious home

Ted & Ellen were wonderful hosts, easy to communicate with and a pleasure to rent from. Their home is more spacious then it seems if photos and offers a lovely Master suit with great a shower and a very private pool and deck. As a family of 4, we had more than enough room and enjoy a wonderful Holiday weekend. The location makes it easy to get to EH, Amagansett, Bridgehampton and Sag Harbor. Everything about this house is fantastic!

My friends and I have rented many houses but this was truly the best one! When we entered the house on a very cold day we really appreciated that it was warm and toasty! Every detail was well thought out an lovely! All the rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Even the sheets on the bed were top quality and plush! The house came fully stocked with essentials like paper products, coffee etc. We really enjoyed the wildlife! One morning I couldn't believe that there was a huge wild turkey strutting across the deck! There were many bird feeders on the property and we were instructed where to find the bird seed and really enjoyed watching an amazing variety of beautiful birds enjoying their seeds! The master bedroom upstairs is particularly luxurious with a bathroom that is bigger than my living room back in the city! Ted Newman who is the owner was very helpful, organized and professional right from the beginning. When you stay in this home you don't feel like it's a rental. It seems more like you're in a friends beautiful country home! We would love to come back in the summer because it would be perfect for a summer vacation. There is a big pool on the property, two very large professional looking grills and it is totally fenced in! I would highly recommend this house to anyone who enjoys being in a beautiful place surrounded by mother nature! By the way there is a TV in every room which is also very nice! This home is top notch and so is the owner! It was a real pleasure and we look forward to coming back again hopefully in the near future! Thank you Ted for a perfect vacation! You are a real class act!!

Spacious and airy, secluded yet convenient

We greatly enjoyed an idyllic week at Ted and Ellen's. They are very friendly and thorough in their communication. The house is tastefully furnished, bright and sunny with large master suite and gorgeous bath. The kitchen is fully stocked, which was perfect for the nights we chose to dine in. We loved sitting out on the deck among the trees and near the pool, and enjoyed the spa as well. The house is located in a quiet and wooded area, yet only an 8 minute drive to East Hampton Village and about 15 minutes to Sag Harbor or the beach at Cedar Point.

Words Can't Describe How Wonderful This House Is!!!

Ted and Ellen were absolutely wonderful!!! The house was just gorgeous the pictures did not do it justice.They were there to greet me and give me the run down of the house!! This house comes fully stocked with everything you would possibly need which is so nice because you legit feel "at home" I already am planning to rent from them again next summer as my family and I fell in love with this house!!! The pool and large deck were an absolute dream we barely left the house!!! Not to far from Montauk and a bunch of great Hamptons amenities. Ted also provided some suggestions for local spots to check out!! I can not wait to return!!!!

Amazing house and location

This is a great house with a great location. Amazing large rooms and a master that you would want for your house. Conveniently located to east Hampton, only 10 minutes drive. Nestled in the trees that gives you nature on your door step and privacy to relax. Ted was really helpful and was a breeze to get the keys. Would definitely book again as there where no issues, even though I had arranged this from New Zealand. Thanks Ted.

Wonderful Stay!

A splendid home! The house is big, bright and airy. Very clean and roomy. All the rooms were spotless and very welcoming. A nicely stocked kitchen. The deck is expansive and you have plenty of privacy amongst all the surrounding trees. There were several birdhouses around the outside of the home so you get to see and hear a variety of birds throughout the day. A very lovely touch that we enjoyed! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Thanks Ted!

Girls Weekend

What a beautiful house!!! Even though it rained most of our trip we still had a blast. We plan to rent from Ted again in the summer so we can enjoy the pool. Only Suggestion is to remove more items from the fridge as we had to squeeze stuff in the freezer and refrigerator. THANKS AGAIN TED

Suggestion noted. We do try to keep the fridge side reasonably clear but for short term rentals it isn't always practicable. We try to keep it to staples so guests don't have to go out to buy basic consumable staples on the firs day - milk , juice, butter etc. Anything in the fridge is fair game

The land was bought in 1984. The house was designed by us in collaboration with Leon Rosenthal AIA and a local builder Telemark Construction (Stanley Dalene & Bros) whose company (Telemark) now, SDC Construction Inc., managed the 2013-2014 major renovation project.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The house was configured to conserve energy and have minimal impact on the surrounding woods. The tall trees surrounding the house provide shade in the summer and the south facing glass exposure produces good passive heating in the winter months. It remains much that way today.
