Élégante maison de ville de 3 chambres / 2 salles de bain - à pied de la plage

Maison de ville de luxe avec 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain à quelques pas de la plage préservée de Cape Canaveral. Cette belle propriété a des planchers en bois, un plan d'étage ouvert avec une cuisine moderne bien équipée et est confortablement meublée avec des couleurs et des tissus riches. Un double garage est attenant à la propriété. La chambre principale au rez-de-chaussée avec lit queen a une salle de bain et accès à un porche arrière blindé et une grande cour arrière avec des chênes centenaires. Le deuxième étage offre 2 chambres (une avec un lit queen et une avec 2 lits jumeaux) et un espace loft avec un futon en taille réelle. Wifi gratuit inclus.

La belle plage préservée de Cap Canaveral est au bout de la rue (à moins de 10 minutes à pied d'un petit parc) et les attractions d'Orlando sont à moins d'une heure de route. Kennedy Space Center est à 20 minutes en voiture

De nombreux commerces et une multitude de restaurants sont à proximité et il y a des théâtres, des cinémas et des salles de musique à portée de main.

Pre-Existing Damage and Cleanliness Issues

My experience at this property was less than ideal. Upon arrival, it was immediately apparent that the kitchen sink had pre-existing damage, appearing misshapen. I also discovered a strong fish odor emanating from the refrigerator, and upon further inspection, found frozen scallops in the freezer. This clearly indicated a lack of proper cleaning and preparation before my arrival. While the location was great, the cleanliness and maintenance of the property were subpar and detracted from my stay.

Kitchen equipment and TV

Kitchen was inadequate for eating in 3-4 x each week of the 61 days. With present situation had to run the dishwasher daily even with 2 or 3 of us present. A definite lack of glasses and very few matched! Lack of cooking dishes. Had to notify the owner several times that TV was inadequate. He replied quickly and it helped some but not to satisfaction with an inexpensive internet hook up. Surface cleaning was complete upon arrival but doors, windows and furniture needed attention desperately. We did it ourselves rather than notify the owner. Furniture could certainly use an update for the price. Loved the was Her/dryer accessibility. The attached garage was terrific. The 2 screened in porches would have been tops if they weren’t in desperate need of repair and or replacement. The owner was most courteous. Anytime any one was coming to the property he always informed us, and many times accompanied them. The side and backyards were marvelous.

Nice vacation house

Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Beach at end of street, 5 minute walk. They provide beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrellas, beach cooler which was great. Very nice condo, enjoyed are stay very much.

Great Location - Close to Beach and Restaurants

Great location, great property. The townhouse is large and comfortable. The main room is downstairs next to the kitchen with a walk in closet and full bathroom. It has access to a covered porch that has a patio set to sit and enjoy the big beautiful backyard view. Lots of trees and shades, it was always windy and was a nice place to relax and read. The upstairs has two bedrooms, one with two twins and the other with a queen and both have access to a full bathroom. The upstairs also has an area for reading and two couches for relaxing. The kitchen has everything you need, even condiments and such, that have been left behind from previous guests, even we left a few things. The garage is at the front of the property and has the laundry and you are able to park your car there and unload your groceries and walk them in to the house. FYI there are no bicycles there to use, in case you see them in the pictures. The property sits next to the Main Street, but you do not hear any cars or noise at all, because it is separated by a beautiful garden and tall thick trees. The beach takes you 10-12 minutes walking to get there. On busy days, a walk is great because parking is limited at the beach, but on other days, you can drive (2 minutes) and park and go to the beach. Although walking will take you through a beautiful and shady park full of trees that will make your walk worth it. Whichever you decide to do, it'll be a great experience to have the beach close to you. Overall, it was a great location, great property and the manager was always available to help with anything needed. He communicated clearly and was very easy to talk to.

Florida space coast vacation

The property was very comfortable and was in a great location. Owner was very accessible and a very nice guy. If ever I go back for another vacation I will definitely try to use this property again.

Property was clean, large enough for our needs and very enjoyable. Rich was also very helpful and understanding and you will not do better.

This property has plenty of character! Large spacious rooms. Well appointed furnishings. Two porches and a large backyard. Very safe, super location. Easy access to the beach. Plenty of restaurants and entertainment close by.

Great family getaway

We had a wonderful stay with family. Great, modern kitchen for cooking meals. Rich is an attentive and thoughtful host. He had to stop by and always let us know he was coming so we would not be surprised by the garage door opening up. The bathrooms are dated but very well maintained. There are plenty of beach towels and assorted beach gadgets (boogie boards, noodles, sand toys) to keep the kids happy at the beach.

Cocoa Beach Getaway

After a fun filled stay doing all of the Disney Theme Parks in Orlando, it was so nice to check into this Cocoa Beach Property. Everything was just as listed on the VRBO site. We especailly loved the gathering area. Rich, the owner, was so accommodating, he made sure to check in with us to see if we had everything we needed. Since we are a family of eight, he even had a cot at his place ready for our use. We were even able to check in a little bit early, which was so nice, as we were kind of in limbo after checking out of our accommodations in Orlando. While it was a little jaunt to get down to the beach from this house, it was still fairly close, with public parking available as well. I would definitely recommend this property for a nice family beach getaway, for sure!

Well stocked beautiful duplex but not very close to beach

We loved the duplex and layout. Plenty of room but twin bed was too short and not comfortable for me. Would be nice if there were dressers in the bedroom for longer stays. We drove to the beach due to physical limitations for us and lots of traffic being on the corner. Nice yard and loved the peacocks and cocoa beach. Close to many places and easy to get around. Would come back in the future.

Lovely stay near the beach

So many great things about this property. You can tell the property has been well loved. The owner is so pleasant and accommodating. There may have been some things we didn't love due to personal preferences, but they pale in comparison to all the great things about this property. We would have liked king size beds but I wouldn't call that a complaint. There are lots of things available for guests to use, like beach gear in the garage and a decently stocked kitchen, although we ended up buying our own chairs because most of the ones in the garage looked like they had seen many a sunny day. But don't let that keep you away from this lovely townhouse. It was very roomy and our family was very comfortable here. I loved the master shower! The property was squeaky was clean upon our arrival. The bikes in the garage were a lovely touch. We really enjoyed getting to ride around the neighborhood. Fantastic living area, large kitchen that we cooked many meals in and the kitchen table was perfect for game nights. Awesome surround sound for the movies we watched. I could go on, but I'll stop there.

Winter getaway

We stayed at Rich’s home for a month while ditching the weather up north and visiting friends. Totally enjoyed our visit as the location was perfect and the home well equipped with everything needed for our stay. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Family Vacation

The property exceeded expectations. Clean and well supplied with the necessities. The washer and dryer on sight was a huge benefit. Two items to note but not to be taken as a negative, just information. The A/C is programmed at 75 for the coolest temp. Our family keeps a cool home at about 68. This was a bit stuffy for us but not at all uncomfortable. Also, the bikes on sight are likely more functional for kids to teens but not as comfortable for an aging man over a certain weight. Everything else was exceptional. There are two full baths with one of those being adjacent to the main bedroom suite. It was not an issue for us, but for large groups, plan accordingly. A large back yard for those wishing to do outside activities. We would definitely recommend.

Absolutely perfect

This house was all it was described and more. We were in love with it the moment we got there and had a hard time leaving. We will definitely stay again! So close to the beach but far enough away that it wasn’t crazy. Everything we needed was available to us and Rich was such an attentive host!

Rich is an Englishman from London, and Kim grew up in Michigan. Both of us have been in Florida for more than 10 years and we can't think of anywhere we'd rather be, including anywhere else in Florida. Cape Canaveral is paradise. We enjoy the sunshine and the water and we love the people here too. We are self-employed professionals in the computer and health fields. Our children are grown and we make our own schedules so travel is a big part of our lives. When we're home, we love to entertain, tend our gardens, sail and kayak. Rich rides motorcycles and plays drums, and Kim loves to walk the beach and putter around the house.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Cape Canaveral offers a relaxed and 'beachy' atmosphere with all the conveniences of a the big city close at hand. We love the beach at Cape Canaveral. It's long and wide and great for walking or for sitting, and the water is wonderful as well. We spend many afternoons reading and relaxing under an umbrella at the end of our street and frolicking in the surf. It's paradise, the place you want to vacation.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Quiet and convenient. We love the area and the location. We can walk to the beach from our front door in under 10 minutes or be in Orlando in less than 50. The stairway holds a large window with a beautiful stained-glass piece that cast a lovely light into the living area, and the skylight in the loft lets in natural light and provides a peaceful and relaxing sound when the rain is falling.
