Nice cabin with the old school feel. Great view!!! Loved the hummingbird feeder right outside kitchen window. Everything you needed ! Just bring food and personals.
Perfect place to getaway from it all, friendly helpful staff, beautiful views on Trout lake from the kitchen window, owner provided all neccessary dishes and utensils needed to have like at home experience, access to the lake and free canoes and raw boats are always a plus, not to mention free wood for the bonfire! Highly recommend this rental and I will visiting again in the future!
Cute cabin on the water. Stayed w 2 buddies for a fishing trips. Good way to unplug, no tvs. (Good WiFi tho if you need it).
Owners was responsive over message and on site family member Aunt Lynne was helpful when needed.
At first our trip was focused on the bike trails, but after seeing the facility we also spent much time just hanging out. The bike trails is the best Iâve ever been on! The resort was wonderful with a lot to enjoy. Our hostess Lynne was amazing!! She took much time to show us around and explained a lot about the history of the property. We definitely will be back next year.
Perfect location and accommodations for biking the fantastic trails in Vilas County, WI. Went hiking too. Towns on the trail offered options to eat out or everything you needed (cooking supplies) in the cabin to make something. Sunset and sunrise beautiful. Didnât use anything available to play on the water, but enjoyed the peacefulness of being by the lake.
My wife and I just returned from a very pleasant and enjoyable Fall get away at Fiesta Compo. We had a simple, rustic cabin with all the necessary modern amenities. And, our host Lynne was there when we needed her. Trout Lake is amazingly beautiful and serene lake. Great boating, fishing and several small quiet beaches for picnics and swimming. We booked a longer stay next summer and canât wait to return to the North Woods.
This cabin was a perfect option for our hiking and canoeing weekend! Located near a ton of trails and outdoor activities, this cabin was a perfect option. The hosts were welcoming and the cabin was clean and ready for us. Canât wait to book for next year!
We had a lovely stay at Campo Fiesta in September. It was like going back to the vacations we had enjoyed years ago in Northern Wisconsin. Thank goodness the family owned resort has preserved this beautiful nature spot for others to enjoy!
We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly. The spruce was small and could allow for only one couch. The view from the cabin was great and set back back from the lake allowing for more privacy. Our weather wasnât the greatest but our dog enjoyed the grounds and easy access to the beach. We enjoyed fishing and long walks in the parklands adjacent to the resort.
Cozy charming lakeside and woodsy cabin with tidy little bathroom and wifi. Close to all of Boulder Junction's attractions including the wonderful public library. Hiked the nearby Northern Highland trail, listened to public radio, read and listened to loons. Very refreshing! Friendly proprietor.
This is a wonderful property for families. The beach area is the best on the lake, and one of the best you'll encounter in northern Wisconsin. Off the beach, the lake runs 2 to 3 feet deep with a sandy bottom for 100+ feet out. There are kayaks, a paddle boat, and a windsurf board that we used as a SUP. Plenty of sand toys for kids, as well. The cabins are well-appointed and clean with all mechanicals in working order. Each cabin has its own fire pit and plenty of firewood.
The property is family-run. Everyone is friendly and cares.
Although this cabin is very old and should not be rented by anyone who lacks the forbearance that age requires, it is clean, comfortable, quiet, and has an outstanding position and view on a gentle rise leading up from one of the most beautiful, largest, deepest, clearest lakes in north-central Wisconsin. It is as remote and quiet as the picture suggests and adjacent to wilderness hiking and remarkably scenic biking trails. If you are willing to get away from central heat, air conditioning, and television for the chance to immerse yourself in quiet, uncrowded beauty, this may well be what you are looking for. The location is so good that you have to be prepared to pay a reasonable premium for it, but I would consider it priceless.
We had a wonderful time staying at Fiesta on the Lake Spruce cabin. It has everything a family of four plus a dog needs to have a trouble free time. The amenities are outstanding, my 8 and 10 year old loved the paddle boat and learning how to kayak. The massive shallow swimming area was a hit with them as well. Otters, bald eagles, loons, ducks, wolves and bears can be seen and/or heard. My favorite was listening to the loons sing at night while I sat by the fire pit. Friendly, gracious host. We will be back.

My name is Tracey Mancheski and my family and I rent out 4 cabins at Fiesta On The Lake. The property has been handed down to us from my grandparents who originally ran the private girls camp, Campo Fiesta, on this same spot. While I am in charge of the booking, there are several other family members that take part in the day to day running of the cabins.
Trout Lake just can't be beat. Between the sandy bottom, clear water, and changing topography there is always something to see and explore. In addition, or property connects to the state forest and a walking trail goes from our cabins to a state hiking trail. Loons, eagles, squirrels, deer and an occasional bear can be found near the property.
Spruce is unique in its location. Being a private cabin near a state forest and on the shore of Trout Lake makes this cabin special. The cabin is located about 200 feet from the sandy-bottom, clear waters of Trout Lake.
