Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The Guest Cabin is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin on Nichols Lake 2 miles north of Boulder Junction, WI. In addition to the 2 bedrooms there is a loft (reachable by ladder) which has 5 additional beds. The Guest Cabin also has a fireplace and large screened porch facing the lake. The Guest Cabin is one of 3 cabins situated on 320 acres of family property known as Singwakiki with hiking trails and 1 mile from paved bike trails. The Guest Cabin is one of three cabins located on Nichols Lake - a 40-acre no-motor lake with excellent fishing and swimming.
We loved this place and the fall colors were gorgeous. Perfect mix of rustic simplicity and convenience. Beach was peaceful and loved the rowboat and the wind chimes. Bonus hiking trails. We will definitely be back!
Singwakiki is a very unique spot in the Northwoods. We are the only dwellings on Nichols Lake and own 3/4 of the shoreline with the rest of the shoreline owned by the state and contains a state beach area with a volleyball court and a playground in the future. In addition, you can walk on our homemade trails to Street Lake where we own several hundred feet of shoreline. Nichols Lake is a non-motor lake so if you are looking for a peaceful spot to vacation, this can't be beat. There is no public boat landing; however, we provide row boats and kayaks with each cabin. We manage our own fishery as well as we can and ask our guests to be mindful of sustainable fishing practices and catch enough to eat but not deplete our stock. Of the 3 cabins on the property, the Guest Cabin is our largest and typically becomes the gathering spot if multiple cabins are rented because of the large screened in porch keeping rain and bugs away. The Guest Cabin also is able to sleep up to 8 with 7 beds in the cabin. This place is truly a gem.
The Guest Cabin comes with a row boat and 2 kayaks. In addition, guests can share the paddleboat, canoe, and raft. In sunny weather, our guests typically enjoy their time on the beach and porch. In the case of rainy or chilly weather, our guests will choose to curl up on the porch and watch the rain or build a fire and play games inside the cabin on the large kitchen table.
