I’m very sorry about an HVAC issue. I work diligently to make sure there is a safe enjoyable experience for my guests. Despite all my best efforts the HVAC issue could not be resolved. The HVAC unit was Installed last year. The installer had just been out for routine maintenance a couple of weeks before and gave it a clean bill of health. After I found out about the issue, I sent two separate emergency teams to try to repair the hvac system at a cost of several hundred dollars each. I offered a refund or reschedule, but she did not want to leave. I am sorry that the hvac company took 3 hours to come. I had no control and had to pay extra to get them there that quickly. Ultimately, the part to repair was unavailable. I rented and paid for 5 windows units. They apparently only delivered 3. The second emergency crew also could not find the part to fix the unit. I had no other options and expressed my regret. They requested to stay in my house despite this. Occasional Palmetto bugs are always present at the beach and traps are set several times a year. There is no infestation. I’m sad they would make an accusation like this. I had just been there this was not the case. I give the neighbors cat cream when I’m there. Unfortunately, he brings us little presents occasionally. I am sorry that this happened to them, and it ended up in the pool. I was not informed about this incident or I would have sent the pool guy out.

Since I am not local and cannot personally check to make sure everything is working I rely on a management company. The management company did not check the washer, and did not report the cable box stolen. I have had problems with my management company and I am replacing them. The flat panel TVs were all there, and cable was present in the other rooms, just not the living room (were the box was taken). I had the cable guy come out and replace the box that day. I have basic cable service there. We have noticed that different channels are different in different rooms also. Occasionally HBO and Cinemax are present. There is also a Roku present there. So in addition to the TV you can get movies, TV shows on demand and so on. I also had the Sears repair person come out to repair the Dishwasher that day. This was as soon as I found out about it. I do not expect my guests to wait for repair people to do their work. The WiFi was tested and works. I did my best to make sure this guests complaints where immediately addressed.

I live remotely from this property. I have had problems with my management company and replacing. I have left bed linens there. Unfortunately, I am not local and cannot check to make sure someone hasn't taken them. The management company does not check. I would agree that it is best to take your own, but is not from my lack of trying. The carpets were shampooed. I have basic cable service there.
